I held my moms hand for hours but had to leave my daughter had made plans l couldn,t change. I learnt to self organise now ,never being on someone elses timetable.
I feel like he is talking to me.i took care of 87 yr old mom. Pancreatic cancer..she passed feb 13 my bday feb 12..i prayed not to go on birthday..my brother passed in my birthday years prior and i couldnt handle if mom did too
I don't have inspiring parents. They didn't do their best and I grew up insecure and not believing in myself. It makes a huge difference to have good parents even if it is just one. Oh how I wish I grew up different!

I can feel my mom touching my hair from time to time, too. Not as often as I used to, but still when I really need comforting.
