Truth: Permanent Magnet Motor Using Magnetic Repulsion. Inventor's idea and what does really happen?

- Understand in an easy way why such a magnetic motor does not generate free energy and is no perpetual motion generator, so that you can easily explain it to others - using my gravity model method.
Roller that spin forever with free energy are still a very convincing power generator.
The magnets are arranged to drive the reel, making sustained spinning easy.
Just watch this video and you will understand for sure, why this great machine is not able to work.
Let's first look at the device itself. It consists of a rotatably mounted plastic cylinder in which magnets are set at regular intervals. f you look closely, the rows of magnets that are attached to the roller overlap. This is intended to allow or facilitate the transition from one magnetic loop to the next.
On the side of the reel is a stand with a very large magnet attached to it.
What happens when the very large magnet attached to the side is pushed closer to the roller?

First: thank you and congratulations on the video, this is absolutely fantastic - the analogy of a gravity well for a magnetic field is really intuitive, at least for me.
But one thing: you forgot the magnets on the sides of the roller.
- they're only there for one period of the process
- perhaps their presence in conjunction with the large permanent magnet would be enough to provide this extra kick to get over that hump?
Hi Matt, glad you like it. Possibly you mean the copper coloured weights. These are just non magnetic weights because of the overlap on the other side. They put the Roller in balance. Thx for watching 🙂
Simple solution to that is an "hopper" on the wheel, wich pushes back the magnet from the rail, meanwhile inertia of the wheels movement turns the wheel (with no big magnet in the interacting distance from the rail) further and than the big magnet get returned (possibility to use a spring, or another self-return mechanism), and proceeds from the starting part of the rail, till it reaches almost the end and will get pushed back again. That will make the magnet "jump" over the area, where end and start of the rail reaches each other, and where (as in only part of the rail) is the movement stopped.

The universal law of energy conservation to which there exists no counter example makes the deception of free energy so absurd, but only the law of repetition can prevent people from falling into that free energy trap. Great demonstration!

A very nice video with laborious and excellent simulations! There is another simple argument, that these constructions don't work. If there is only one single magnet on the rotor, it will not run, since torques due to magnetic repulsion (or attraction) will be the same clockwise and anti-clockwise. And the effects of several magnets simply add up. Thus, if you have n magnets on the rotor and none of them delivers a resulting torque in one direction, n times zero gives zero.
It is more difficult with constructions which suggest, that the master magnet should be withdrawn temporarily to achieve a continuous spin. If this is done by external means you can achieve a continuous spin, but this movement needs an input of energy. And attempts to get this energy from the rotation fail, since the rotational energy is not bigger than the energy needed for moving the master magnet. For those competent in physics of course conservation of energy is the simplest explanation which refutes all possible designs of magnet motors. Unfortunately those who are free energy addicts don't trust laws of physics ...

Not agreeing or disagreeing that it can be done with some more formulaic design, but the fact that this energy, while not totally "free", would significantly reduce the cost of fuel which big brother does not want. Hence why the shut down Tesla. It's not even big enough of a push for the whole "conservationist convention party"to jump on board with lol. Probably could use 1/10 the fuel consumption in combination with this type design

@@raymondsilva5440 Since this design can not deliver any energy at all, it would also not reduce fuel consumption. The majority of countries has to buy fuel from other countries. They would be quite happy to find an alternative to oil products. But magnet motors are no alternative. And by the way: Tesla was not shut down. Teslas project which was no longer financed by P. Morgan was not about free energy, it was about the transfer of electrical energy through the air without wires. The energy itself would have been a conventional one, produced from oil, coal and water. Not free at all.

My bad, you missed a part where you can prove it fails. When the roller moves the magnets in the roller gains momentum while after completion of a revolution the momentum of the magnets over come the magnetic pole's repelling strength when the magnets which are closer ( ie the magnets at the starting point) . Also the original design is not the way you show. While the wheel spin one full revolution, the non rotating magnet is moved a little far from the revolution having the magnets for an instant, then back on its original position to maintain the constant push.

And why then would not a pulsed electro magnet be usefull here to remove the dip when it begins to affect the rooller and come back on once its past the point of the dip and add to that the rooller be a heavy flywheel that would add to the forward motion of the rooller. I think that if multiple methods are used in conjunction this would work to produce electricity and overunity could be possible

I've long wanted to see someone review or debunk the theory behind a v-track motor, but this video sadly misrepresents it. The stator magnet is never static, instead, these motors have it moving up and down at the rail connection to prevent the exact issue you are describing.

Cos magnetic shield not eliminates magnetic field. It can change/compress it, so no chance that it can be usefull here.

There is such thing as free energy that uses gravity of the planets and seas and other things but turning a wheel isn't even the right way to go about it. The thing to do is a spring tuned to a certain frequency and attach a magnet at the bottom of it and hang it in the trees around your house. I have done this and use it to charge my 12v batteries. When wind blows it gives high high spikes and there you go. That's how you do, free energy device. Your welcome everyone.. Não se deve entender um "motor" ou "movimento" gerado por imãs como sendo "moto-perpétuo", "energia livre", ou qualçquer coisa desse tipo porque não é.
É preciso considerar que os imãs foram "produzidos" de alguma forma, e trazem sua energia para o sistema. O movimento desejado não é partir do nada. Está sendo introduzida energia no sistema sim, da mesma forma que combustível é introduzido num motor a combustão interna para acionar um gerador.
Quanto ao problema dos imãs se anularem em determinado momento, talvez trabalhando em unipolarização do campo (tem estudos nesse sentido) e/ou usando isolantes (já existem materiais que fazem isso parcialmente) o resultado seja outro.
Ainda que não se consiga resultado favorável, é necessário excluir "motores magnéticos com imãs" do conceito moto-perpétuo. E isso é conceitual.
Poderá não funcionar por outros motivos, não por ser moto-contínuo, coisa que de fato não é.
Entendo que uma vez solucionado o problema do "auto-freio", a questão é se o movimento gerado é capaz de gerar outros imãs e sobrar alguma energia.
Em todo caso, não é moto-contínuo.

IVE DONE THIS YEARS AGO. THE PROBLEM WITH ALL THESE MOTOR ATTEMPTS IS WHAT IS MISSING IN THEIR DESIGN. THEY NEED A CAM TO CHANGE THE MAG POSITIONS. JUST LIKE A GAS MOTOR. I can't really agree with much of the author's argument. If he wants to use animations to make his point, he shouldn't use examples that use completely different energies. I.e. the marble example has much inertia lost from the unmentioned flywheel removed from the formula. If the marble had the momentum of a flywheel, it would have the kinetic energy to climb those little dips with less. What weight is this marble vs standing gravity, minus the relevant momentum of the model in question anyhow? The kinetic aspect was pretty much disregarded. In fact the example should have used a flywheel instead of the heavy centered marble.
Hi James, thx for your comment. The flywheel is just a method to increase the inertia. If an system comes to an standstill after a minute, with an flywheel it runs for more than 10 minutes. It has no effect to the principle. It covers a bit of friction but at last there is no power increase in the system. Thx for watching 🙂
@@yWild Thanks but i understand inertia and kinetic energy. That's my point though. In the marble example, the inertia from the flywheel is left out. The kinetic energy plays an important roll in these models that use flywheels. I appreciate your stance on the subject. I am bias. But i believe even though free energy breaks the laws of physics, mankind will break those laws once we formulate the tech to do so.

Never a waste to learn. I did see a supposed working unit of this V design that used a cam to lift the magnet, then gravity to bring it down. The question is always; If it worked, where is it today? Suppressed by big oil? Or it was a scam? Animations are fun to watch, but they don't follow real world physics.

Uh huh....now load it and make it do work! What you have here is another variation of the Perindiv motor. The balance of magnets plus the inertia make the rotor spin. But put to work it upsets the balance. It's nothing more than a perpetual motion machine. It takes torque and constant speed to get useful work out of any machine

Add a kicker motor to that flywheel and a sensor that checks when it tries to slow down. The kicker brings the speed of the flywheel back up so the inertia is not overcome by the workload. That will need a battery and kind of defeats the free energy concept.
Maybe, the world is not made to have perpetual motion nor free energy unless a lighting harvester will discover later by scientist😅😅😅

First off, I'll state that I'm in no way smarter than anyone else on here, so it is very possible that I'm missing something. But, something that I've noticed in many of these "perpetual motion" devices, particularly the one you're 'debunking' here, is that you don't take into consideration the initial force/energy applied to start the process. In your video, you were either pushing the magnet closer to start the reaction, or in your demonstration with the ball, just releasing the ball and leaving the whole thing to the magnets. But in many real case scenarios that use 'magnetic acceleration' (such as here: ruclips.net/video/iyv9GhaITNE/видео.html ), there needs to be a force applied to start the process. And that force used at the beginning is less than the amount that is at the end.
Hi NSDay, thanks for your comment. Yes, you are right. The initial push could work as an accumulator and it is part of any motion motor even the one you do the comment to.
Every time a movement from the outside is done to the system, in this case the big magnet is pushed into the repellent field and held there, then the initial power is put in.

@@yWild yes, but is pushing in the magnet to start the motion equal to the amount of energy used to spin the wheel by hand? Have you tried it that way, with the big magnet pushed in and stationary, and then giving the wheel a spin by hand to start it?
The whole thing is an interesting concept. In some ways, it does remind me of how people used to have to crank start combustion engine cars, or kick start motorcycles (much more recent).
And if it does become a 'perpetual motion' device, would it have enough torque to actually get any power from it? Is it possible to scale at all? Obviously better equipment, and somehow using it in a vacuum would make a difference, but enough?
Permanent magnets aren’t permanent, being constantly under load degrades their power and will need to be remagnetized. Magnetism is just another form of fuel.

I think that if you include a fly wheel in the rotor axe you will overcome the repulsion forces that are stopping the system, and the extra kinect energy may maintain and feed the rotation.
Hi YYY, thx for your comment. A fly wheel is a good method to store some energy for a while and hide the friction. But the fly wheel has to be powered by the system and there is not enough power in the system for starting its rotation. 🙂 thx for watching

FYI, another way to arrive at the same proof is to mathematically compute the magnetic force vectors at each position through the rotation, then take the differentials (ie. force gradients). They sum to _exactly zero_ which proves beyond doubt that this system will encounter a huge barrier force at the next rotational cycle around the diverging loop of magnets, and therefore will NOT continue to accelerate to produce free energy.... unfortunately !

First of all I want to congratulate you on your honesty, where you clearly admitted that this does not work, yet still you went through the long arduous task of drawing all this wonderful spectacular well focused visual assistance, depicting the effect in a variation of manners.
As you said, there are no infinity "downhill's" on which we can ride and roll on and achieve a perpetual motion, let alone gain free energy to drive a heavy external load. We can only get some energy out of this magnetic contraption for as long as we use the magnetic energy that fill the tank of energy existing in those strong magnets, but that will be like emptying th gas tank in a gasoline engine where it will stop when the magnetic stood energy is all consumed, and we not have any stored magnetism left. It would be interesting to go into the fact that magnetism exist when there is a change od electric field and that in a permanent magnet can only be a spinning electrons or electrons all orbiting continuously is a common flat plane around a nucleus of the atoms. It would be interesting to use the demagnetisation of a permeant magnet to use its stored energy as a tank of gasoline or diesel or coal in a steam engine. .

Why can't the be a clock work mechanism that pulls the large magnet away at overlap and then pushing it closer after the overlap, skipping the strong part resetting the falling process from a higher point. Or use an electromagnet, and a physical push to start the process so as to only give energy to the electromagnet at intervals skipping the overlap, would this not create a free fall forever?
what is electromagnet made of? if it is electromagnet then you are using additional power to generate motion which will not be perpetual

This was great. I would like to see you discuss various designs of permanent magnet motors the same way. Are there any that get better results? Perhaps closer to '"self running" than this one? To be fair the design of this motor is not very good but as a first iteration or initial prototype, the lessons learned could be applied to the design of something better.

Have you try to use weak interaction vs strong interaction between V-Gates you may be surprise. e.g. the first round you need to weak the magnetic interaction somehow maybe spring for timing the device just surpassing the drag and let the V-Gate self sustain. Free energy is available everywhere in perfect balance ask THE SUN if not sure.
the space boot of the 1960's allowed a astronaut to simply lift his heel up and it would mechanically nullify the magnetic s, then when coming back down on the heel would reapply the force without anything but mechanics. the implications are mind boggling.
