Talladega with the double notes and Final Destination-God are like, still VERY difficult songs. I still haven’t even beaten the original FD-G TO THIS DAY, even though I’ve beaten remixes of it in Rev Mixed and Voiid Chronicles.

@@hyhyd6135 if you get good enough at rhythm games, Camellia is a piece of cake. Went from 200+ misses on GHOST VIP back in 2022 to just 7 the last time I played it, it hasn’t got any gimmicks, it’s just purely skill based.

What I find funny is that the shaggy mod taught me 6k and 9k and everyone thought it was the hardest thing to ever come from the fnf for a time. Then I downloaded Quaver and learned that shaggys song is in the easier side of 9k songs 😂

8:07 Everytime I find someone who just started playing rhythm games, and they say they hit notes "based on the color" I imagine a chart that just turns all the notes gray or something, and they just can't play it anymore, they are in shambles. Like "No, not the color! That was the source of my power!"
The real bullshit is chart speed, like what the fuck is with the chart speed of so many fnf games, matt included, crank it the fuck down the chart is difficult enough already. What's the point of a DDR style rhythm game like this when you can't see the notes long enough for the information to reach your brain?

the matt mod itself isnt super difficult but both of them is a living nightmare

The reason why you find God Eater so hard is because the Anti-Mash in this version of the Shaggy Mod is INSANE, you get punished like 10 notes of damage for spamming even SLIGHTLY.
(You can CLEARLY see this at 16:11, when your health goes from completely full to suddenly taking a large burst of damage.)
It’s the reason why it took like 4 hours for me to beat Talladega for the first time, those Triple/Quadruple Notes in the last half of the song were taking me OUT. The Gamejolt version of the Shaggy Mod actually nerfs this heavily, so I’m guessing you were playing the GameBanana version.

Shaggy always felt challenging but in a fair way. Getting used to extra keys was definitely a learning curve for most, but the engine was forgiving enough to ease you into it and I found myself getting used to it a lot sooner than I thought I would. Now I love 6 key songs and can consistently beat every 7 and 9 key song without any issues!

Also also, you should play the dusttale mod if you haven't already, it's so cool even though it's just an au where sans goes apeshit and kills everyone, but it's got some good songs and some bullshit mechanics :D
talking about remastered matt songs, recently there is a matt mod called voiid chronicles which has really amazing remix for all the old matt songs (also a lot of new ones). The art, visual effects and charts are insane and there are still a lot of upcoming contents such as shaggy x matt voiid wiik, voiid wiik 4, voiid tricky, agoti etc...easily my favorite matt mod and definitely worth playing.
After all this time,the shaggy mod is still a top 3 for me. I loved all the songs (especially blast and disassembler) ,the 6 and 9 key mechanics were really fresh for me at that time and they were a lot of fun. It was like learning how to play the game again and the thing with shaggy knowing boyfriend can reset time is really cool (oh and some of the cutscenes were cool too)

As for my thoughts on the mods, I'd say they both hold up fairly well. They're not overrated or underrated, just simple ideas and examples of what people can do with FNF mods. Great video.

I remember playing the shaggy mod back when it was first released. It took me *months* to even barely pass the 6 key songs. 9 key was, and still is impossible for me.

in my opinion, the "hardest" mod from that old era. IS camilia no doubt. No gimmicks. No BS. Just pure 4K skills. Clears matt in difficulty by a mile.

An updated version of Matt/a remix or whatever of Matt that I think could be an interesting thing would be the Matt Voiid Sides Mod. It's the matt mod, but better in literally every way.

There was a crossover between the Shaggy mod and the Matt mod... That is located somewhere in the Matt mod, although the Shaggy mod CAN lead to the link to where the crossover happened.

I like Wii Funkin, but currently it's not that good (Currently I say because soon it may update)

now you gotta check out voiid chronicles after playing matt for an amazing matt experience it's peak i swear
I think a good matt mod to try out would be Robomaster's wiik 4, tons of songs (varying difficulties), tons of different composers, and it includes some songs from previous versions of the mod (not all good but hey they're there) and also includes wiik 1-3.
you should look at fan mods for different characters (matt specifically)
I used to be really big into the fnf genre. Could do songs like these 30> misses, but i had to stop because i had gotten a minor case of carpal tunnel and arthritis while playing due to the over-working of my muscles. It would also hurt me somewhere above my wrist, but below my elbow. Not quite sure what that was, though.
I never could beat the shaggy 9 key either, the 6 key was manageable, but 9 was miserable

You should try voiid chronicles it’s pretty fun and the music is really good
It’s also a good thing to have polydactyly because you have more fingers to play with on the keyboard and it makes it easier if you have more fingers

I can't believe that I beat the matt mod with arrow keys and up scroll on hard.
There is a 4 key mode and it's really hard and I did FC it, you should try it sometime.
Edit: it only makes you do the 6 keys, 7 keys, and 9 keys songs with 4 keys and like I said it's REALLY hard. Have fun :)
As a 4k-13k player these songs were pretty fun and still hold up a decent challenge for multikey players

I use my thumbs to use CVBN as their own 4k keybinds plus the space bar (diamond) in the center of 12 keys making it 13k. A good example of multikey mods is the RonezKJ and spurk fnf mod. There are songs up to 18k and even a fan made 20k shaggy song if you play the shaggyverse mod.

You should try voiid Chronicles matt, I am a top 60k osu mania player and it is still wuite difficult with all of the mechanics. If you try King Hit you would want to smash your keyboard.

If we take mods are old as shaggy then Vs bob, bob and bossip, star light mayhem, eteled, and retrospecter and NEW DAVE AND BAMBI are still quite good.
I think in terms of 4 key songs retrospecter’s ectospasm and corruptro are pretty good contenders for hardest song
