Same. Only difference is breakup after 8 years last year. Women are not worth it anymore. Most of them are toxic, come with high body count and baggage. Stay single, take care of old parents, make money and travel the world. I swear on my life, women are not worth it. Please try to see the truth
All these points are great but u need to understand that a 25 year old in India belonging to poor background will consider spending energy and money on family and himself as 1st priority. So dating and socializing will be considered luxury
What you're talking about is generational curse. Most parents weren't smart enough with their family planning and didn't work hard enough to give their kids any luxury. Break the cycle, and prioritise yourself or you'll get stuck just like them.
@amitrane3910 Agreed! The video is repeatedly harping on a point that applies to a small demographic of people who have the luxury and freedom of socializing and dating at that age and are, equally importantly, WANTING to date and socialize. I don't like the fact that this video implies that EVERYONE at that age SHOULD be looking for long-term relationships. What if someone simply does not WANT that for themselves, at least not at that juncture in their lives? That's okay too!
what nobody talks about is how even healthy relationships are discouraged in indian families even when you are an adult and old enough to make your life decisions. so the prime teenage years when you should be learning how to bond and have healthy connections, you are asked to not get too many friends or dont go out so much, which ends up having a negative impact on a teenager and that person will struggle to find a connection or be scared to commit even if they want to because they constantly feel they're going behind their parents back and doing something wrong and feel guilty about it.
@@chillingboi9172that's a skill issue of parent's parenting. They rather keep you away from something rather then teach you the ways to indulge in healthy way. 31 years old, almost 32. Never been in a relationship. Never had sex. Never even kissed a girl. Got close to something of the sort maybe a handful of times I even got 50+ matches on dating apps in a matter of weeks, but nothing solid ever came out of it. My friends were shocked but after watching this video I realised I was gaming the algorithm without even realising it. I was swiping right on maybe 5% to 10% profiles, but that's genuinely because most profiles didn't even have pictures or were simply not attractive. People have said, and I know, that I'm above average in looks. But I've had incredibly low self esteem, confidence issues and crippling social anxiety. I know I'm fucked. I have accepted I'm never going to find anyone and need to learn to be alone for the rest of my life. I'm probably not going to make it past 50.
28, male here. I am in the same boat as you. Been having random chest pains for a short while whenever I see some relationship topic or some form of exposure to relationship. I have accepted that I will die alone in my 40s. It is getting easier to adjust to this lonely lifestyle but the nights of the chest pain are really tough.
Yes.. Totally relate. People like us do exist 🥺I'm just 23 right now but reading all this makes me think this might be me just 10 years later. I do feel that I have above average looks, but no girl has ever approached me in my entire life! Me being an introvert, I could never imagine myself in a relationship in the future too. I guess I would have to fall into some trap set by family called arranged marriage lol
Just a week ago, I got catfished by a female match. She literally asked to meet after 5 mins of talking, and my desperate ass, sensing all the red flags, ignored it. I literally didn't carry any safety precaution. Although she turned out to be a real woman with whom I spent an hour or so, she made me pay 5000rs for 2 drinks and one snack. During payment, she said she didn't have that much cash and she didn't use online payments, so she will get it done by her friend later. I had sensed this very early, but desperation and the fear of making any scene at a place where dating is frowned upon made me helpless. In the end, I had to pay 5000rs. She blocked me immediately after that :)) PS: I am just a college student with a monthly pocket money of 3000rs :))

There's something else that I believe is also happening. People completely stopped setting up their single friends with each other due to jealousy. Even if they know someone who could be a potential match, they would rather make sure both of them are single. People who still set up people are the ones who are married or in a long term relationship which is already a very small group.
YES, so much this. This culture of setting their friends with others was common in older generations, i rarely see it happening today in my friend's circles and others. It is purely out of jealousy most of the time. Whenever i was given the contact to connect with a girl, it usually came from older parents.
Yes i have seen this my so called best friend(as they called me) never told me that there were in relationship and sidelined me. After breakup they just came back. I told her it's a scam and she said, 'ill prove you wrong'. Yeah I blocked her.
It's all men unless they look like Bratt Pitt. Very true! The *vast majority of females want a white male who looks like Pitt,Cavill or DiCaprio. That's why as a black male who has lived in London, UK for decades (and keeps fit , eats very healthy food, doesn't smoke, drink alcohol)...I no longer try and ''compete''. Not worth it when all I see now (especially in the more affluent parts of London) are lots....and I mean LOTS of non white females( especially from South east asia) with white husbands or boyfriends.

Dating in India as a Man is difficult. Like if u are a woman then 70% of work is done if u r good looking and attractive. For Men they literally have to be over the mark in mostly everything like looks, muscles, height, confidence humour and maturity. Which makes dating a cut throat competition for Men in India. And I feel this is our fault. It's we men who give women way more attention, validation that they don't even deserve which makes them feel over the sky. As a Man it's better to be picky and not be desperate for women. Have some standards and approach only when the other person is worth it. Not every woman deserves our precious time and efforts. Working on oneself, being selective and interacting is the best way to overcome this issue in offline mode. Also the most ironic yet worst part is that social media was designed to interact and establish connections with people but it's totally opposite today. Most of the ppl especially men are lonely compared to women. Sending Love to all Brave Men out there❤️
It’s nothing wrong with us. It’s just the society has put the higher pedestal based on looks and appeal of woman and they are hormonal creatures on top of that. They play the flute as per the hormones kicks in. So, don’t work just to get this , get that. Work on yourself continuously. Remember men are always alone and will ever be and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that no matter how society deludes us.

I don't like to brag, but I have all the qualities you mentioned women are looking for in a man, so much so I have been approached by about 5 to 6 women in my 34 years of existence. All of them while I was already in a long term relationship that ended last year. Trust me when I say this, most women are not worth your time or the trouble. Stay away and learn to love your life and travel the world
Based on genetic research, only 40% of men in history ( starting from caveman days) procreated, the rest did not. Part of it could be sexual selection of women and environmental variables. Back then, even if a guy wanted to explore "greener pastures", it was very risky since they didn't have the means to safely travel. But with modern technology, we have those opportunities. Utilize it and improve the odds of continuing your bloodline : )
It’s actually simple, we Indians especially males think in a vacuum. In terms of international dating scene it’s all about adapting to what’s the fashion standard of the current generation, which i feel like we lack when it comes to international dating scene.
14:38 I'm single since birth. I'm not only healthy, but I can handle 10x more stress than a normal person and still get a sound sleep at night. I love my peace and solitude. I play football, play guitar, do workout, read books, and so much more as my hobbies. In fact, the only time my mental health is disturbed is when I start talking to a woman. Relationships are good if you are with a compatible person, otherwise, they are not worth the time. And not every person is supposed to be in a relationship all the time.
Same is true in hinge app. I tried it once and they bait men to pay through bot accounts when you join and then it goes dark, no activities. Very predatory. Stop using these apps. They are not good for men
The only reason I try dating apps is because its extremely difficult to socialize with women. The most female interaction I have in person would be while ordering food in hotel. No place I go has women who are ready for relationship, not in gym, office, cafe, middle of the road, sidewalk, grocery store, petrol station, biker meets, movies, .... (gym is the worst, every woman there is accompanied by at least 1 guy and they look like they'd pick up a fight even if I remotely try to approach their woman). Even in dating apps, it is extremely difficult to build a healthy conversation (first of all, I never matched with an attractive woman). I think the only way for men to survive is to visit Thailand on weekends.
India does not have the culture where you can just aproach a stranger and strike conversation and ask to get tea together. Internet gives us certain freedom but our social cultre from the outside is still conservative. Even if you had aproached me in a park just to talk and I, a woman was lonely and looking for a partner, I would still be hesitant to go chat with you or go anywhere with you. Thus the whole point of making connection outside is not possible unless you are in school, college or in a workplace where people like you.

This is why dating apps in india don't work. In most college programs, the gender ratio is 80:20. 20 being female. Therefore, there is more demand for each girl than each boy. If the girl wants to date, they already have so many options. They have 100s of request pending on their insta. Their request section is a dating app in itself, hence most indian women don't use dating apps cause there is no need for them to do so. Same in usa, there gender ratio in clgs is close to 50:50. Hence, both girls and boys have options. Hence, more females use dating apps over there. Hence, more matches. Dating apps will be useless in india until the gender ratio. Improves in india
It's just the difference in behaviour and habits of men and women. Men will swipe on a lot of women profiles but a lot of women will only swipe on the same absolute best profile. Hence only the top 1% guy will get all the girls on the app while the rest 99% are stuck on zero😂

The problem is the dating apps have monopolized dating by becoming the only space where its become socially acceptable to approach women with explicit romantic intentions in mind. Anywhere else you go to try to meet women in real life and women will be on their anti-social shit and be all like, “ew no don’t talk to me I did not come to the gym/bookstore/coffeeshop/grocery store/work/bar/anywhere else to get hit on.” Women have to take some responsibility and start giving men safe openings where they can try to make an approach without fear of being called a creep. Because if they don’t then the only men who will ever approach will be the actual creeps who don’t care about your personal space or comfort.
nah we don't like being approached every now and then, take some responsibility and learn how to approach women without creeping her out. If women allow anyone to approach her, she will become an easy target for too many creeps
It is happening to people in general, so one can imagine the situation of disabled people, being blind myself I'm facing the same problem that has been explained in the video. But I believe hoping to meet the right person and keeping a positive attitude in general and not being rigid is the key.
I somehow broke through that social akwardness. In any gathering, known or unknown people, regardless of gender, i am often the conversation starter. Important thing I learnt in keeping the talk going on doesn't depend on your intelligence or how well you talk, it's just letting out what's on your mind. If people like what you are, good for you, or else, move to next

why are u pushing introverts? Not everybody is an extrovert. Edit: the comments I'm getting tells me how unaware people are about introverts. First of all, introversion is not loneliness but solitude. We enjoy our own company and things we do. We have our own world inside ourselves. You do not understand it. U will never understand it as an extrovert who feels recharged by meeting people. I feel recharged by spending time alone. On my own doing things i love such as sing or play guitar or do coding or whatever. First understand the difference between lonely and solitude before u say that we should step out because your butt cannot rest in peace. They talk like personality types Don't exist But they do believe in zodiac signs. I can literally spend time in luxury prison with just internet and food. U do not understand this. I enjoyed the time i spent at home in covid. It wasn't a Situation of "unrest" for me. While other people were so restless that they were ready to get spanked by police on street for being outside of their homes. They couldn't just stay at home. But i had 0 problem with staying at home for 2-3 yrs. Stop asking us to give up on our comfort. Because you like being a bouncy butt. U enjoy that, and that's why u do it. It's not because u are hardworking or something.
@@an_mous here is my advice for you. I think you are faking introversion. Introverts always have something to do. I can stay in my home for months without wanting to meet anyone in person. I play guitar , i sing, i do a lot of other stuff. Life of introverts are not boring and you maybe useless but most of the introverts have their own world. Where they live happily. There's nothing lonely about it. It's solitude. Lonely is when you hate the feeling of being alone while solitude is when you enjoy being alone. You are not an introvert. U are just a lonely person who doesn't know what to do with their lives.
There are some people like me who are introverts, who don't have friend groups or a social circle so it becomes hard to meet new people. So that's one of the the reasons we rely on dating apps. we know it's a trap but we do not have any other options too.

People used to look up to India in the ancient times. Foreigners used to study in Nalanda university. I remember ancient Chinese called India “civilized” and “center of knowledge”. Scientists and mathematicians of the islamic golden age admired our work. Greeks and Romans also used to look up to us. Good old times. Anglo-Saxons and other Westerners are the reason that South Asians face discrimination worldwide. They ruined our image by portraying us as animal f*ckers, street sh*tters, unhygienic (India needs to work on hygiene, I admit, but man often it is over exaggerated), savages, r*pists, etc. West butchered our reputation. We think South Asians face discrimination because of skin color, but that is not the case. When you are brown, people think you are from South Asia, and South Asia has a bad image. Many Italians, Middle Easterns, and Hispanics have a bronze tone, but they face far less discrimination. Even light skin Indians face discrimination, just tell them you are Indian and attitude changes.
I hate it when foreigners say Indian man is the least attractive…. Indian man are attractive too but just need glow up new dressing sense and some skin care….

Sometime back even I used to be in the FOMO, looking at people around me finding partners etc. But later when I looked closely I find amongst my seniors and older cousins people who have never been in any relationship throughout their life and are in their late 20s or early 30s but are professionally robust and well established. You can always arranged a partner any day in India for marriage. Finding a good relationship maybe important but nothing is of any use if as a student u are poor in academics and if as a man u are poor in ur wallet. Kinda depressing but if you compare a man in late 20s who has girlfriend but earn poorly to a man who who has been lifelong single but makes good wealth, its always safer and better to be the later. Godspeed everybody. Stay Blessed!
Why ? Here is the answer - 1. He should be more than 6ft 2. He should have a deep voice 3. He should have blue eyes 4. He must be handsome 5. He should have 6 figures salary 6. He should have great communication skills (which is nothing but telling lies in a charming manner) 7. His zodiac should be matched with her 8. He should have hobbies (according to what she wants ) 9. He must not live with parents 10. He must not take dowry but he has to pay alimony and give his 50 % property to her. Too many unrealistic expectations of women nowadays 🙂
I'm glad to have stumbled onto this video. 4 years back I worked on a system design project that challenged the dating apps business model from a socio-economic perspective. If you have high affordability, you can avail Premium benefits, higher chance of matching, etc. But if the service is meant to help me find a partner, why does my affordability play a role in it? As an alternative I suggested getting restaurants, cafes, theatres as advertisers to provide avenues for a "date", provide offers and help them generate revenue too. But well, I dream.
Great video. It's quite sad how so many people are falling prey to this sham of online dating- if you can even call it that. A majority of people are just on it passively- which is much worse. It's eating up your potential to actually be a loving, caring person someone would want to be with. I would personally recommend staying off of it and stand out by not being a part of that toxic space. You will actually start looking at things that matter.
Completly bogus! I’m Indian American and I used to be on dating sites and let me tell you for a whole 2 years I went out on dates atleast 3-4 dates a week, and met girls easily. One thing is I did not wear my Indian background on my sleeve.
Okay I'll give you the reality on those offline mixer events. Again a lot more guys than girls. Even though guys are charged like 2-4k and girls have free entry. The prettier girls who come there are generally a part of the hosting company (hosts of other events from the same company). The women who come naturally are generally low on the attraction scale (dont judge me for this). I've been to this event, I just sat at a table and looked at 2-3 guys trying to talk to one girl. Or guys just talking to each other. Its kinda depressing 😐
Dating apps don't work at all - not for someone like me. I'm in my 50s now. Despite earning a BSEE, and an MSEE, working as a design engineer in Silicon Valley, and buying a home in Silicon Valley - I'm 100% alone and likely will never find someone. I have no family, no parents, no kids, no siblings, no close friends and no love. I spend every Christmas alone. If I were to disappear tomorrow only the bill collectors would notice.
The culture around dating apps is so weird like, you're looked at as an outsider or some sort of an alien if you're not on one of these apps. I often get asked or even suggested by my friends to be on a dating app, and I always reply with "what's the point?", and it's always funny when they say "to find someone that makes you happy" My brother in Christ, I am someone who makes myself happy, I absolutely refuse to depend on an app for happiness, let alone find someone. Hell no
Indian men in general don't reach their genes potential that can make their looks better and have good body whereas indian women in general take care of their face and body that makes them top 5 countries for one of the most beautiful women in the world
Because grooming/self-care and focusing on your looks is not encouraged towards men. If you are a girl, your family will be more or less supportive of you being more fashion-inclined than if you are a boy. Going to the gym or handpicking outfits or choosing your own style is seen as "distracting" from your studies and "wasteful" by parents and society. Tl;dr - This country is righteously fked
"People avoid for far too long, only to realize that now they are too scared to form any sort of connection because of fear of rejection." I believe this also makes sense on why some part of Indian Men are unsuccessful in dating life. Some of us are too shy and scared to be rejected by women after being rejected by some already. So Instead we try staying away from it altogether, rather than putting the effort to improve ourselves and meet more women who are actually open to finding partners.

Being in a relationship is better than being single, and I'm tired of pretending it's not
Dating in India as a Man is difficult.

This is exactly the problem in india.
Dating culture is frowned upon in our society that's why

That's how the nature is .

I’m not Indian but I literally have no idea on how to even try without using the shit tier dating apps
Koi nahi swarg mein bahut saari mil jayegi.
Stay positive. God bless you and your family.
I somehow broke through that social akwardness.
In any gathering, known or unknown people, regardless of gender, i am often the conversation starter.
Important thing I learnt in keeping the talk going on doesn't depend on your intelligence or how well you talk, it's just letting out what's on your mind.

why are u pushing introverts?
Writing this as a former introvert
This introvert /extrovert divide is not accurate
@@i_love_sparrow2502 then u do not understand introvert. we are not lonely. we like solitude.
fir maro single
Introvertness is an illusion, come out of it forcibly, then only you will be free and reach the maximum potential of a human

You can always arranged a partner any day in India for marriage.
A good line I would like to add is, any amount of rejections are all worth a single partner.

The prettier girls who come there are generally a part of the hosting company (hosts of other events from the same company). The women who come naturally are generally low on the attraction scale (dont judge me for this). I've been to this event, I just sat at a table and looked at 2-3 guys trying to talk to one girl. maybe because the patriarchial society has pressurized them too much with responsibilities
