Yes that’s all true, I have to be more specific It’s Spanish baroque guitar music which is so special. Baroque from other countries is beautiful too, from Quito very much so, I recently discovered
Miguel Rincón with performers like you, these instruments will certainly make a comeback. I am a classical guitar maker and I am definitely interested in building baroque guitar. They sound amazing!
The way his hands just slide across the strings is incredible. It makes something that takes an inhuman amount of skill look completely effortless, he just glides over the strings and they play themselves. It looks like actual magic.
I have watched this video several times over the years. I have two masters degrees in music and play several instruments. I think of all the music I have heard in my life time, few impresses me more than this. The virtuosity paired with musicality, the fluidity and the inventive rhythms of the right hand. It's absolutely impressive in all it's rights. I'm not saying it's the music that moves me the most but the level of professionalism, musicality and knowledge of the instrument, this is definately on my top 5 list. Maybe even the top...
Ohhh I really appreciate your comment and words my friend, really 🙏 it is this kind of comment that reinforce you to continue and develop yourself. Once again thanks from the bottom of my heart ❤️❤️
This video has been in my favorites and I listen to it nearly every day at work. Your playing is awe-inspiring. So clean but so full of life and texture. Combine that with how rich the instrument sounds and the fantastic job with recording/mastering. We stan!!! Definitely looking forward to more recordings from you Miguel :)
regeman100 “fun fact” a lot of metal riffs can be created by isolating a line from a classical piece on the electric guitar smothered with mid scooped high gain distortion. Most minor scale Beethoven and Vivaldi compositions work great for this. Another interesting take is Apocalyptica (distorted cellos with metal drums).
Excelso. Saludos desde la Ciudad de México.
The Tarantela is one of the most beautiful pieces of the baroque guitar I ever heard. And your performance, Miguel, is perfect, passionate, warm and full of enchanting. Thank you!
Gracias maestro!!!
Wonderful! One of these days I may buy a baroque guitar, but I have enough trouble trying to find time to keep up with my practice of the classical guitar and alto recorder.
Great,,,,beautiful music and excellent technique, its wonderful that someone will play a music that has been composed hundreds of yrs ago... keep it up Miguel..thank you

Hello Miguel! Your interpretation is absolutely stunning! Wonderful sound, great flow, fantastic rasgueados! I am really jelous! Best guitaristic regards, Werner
Genial!!

I discovered Baroque Guitar played by a Scot called Gordon Ferries. He has a great album of Sanz’s music. It’s very exciting stuff. I play classical guitar but would love learn to play one of these.
We see where flamenco comes from...We see where guitar comes from.. And the intonation is so good, which one might not expect from a 17th century gut [?] fretted instrument.. I can't get my Cordoba C10 to be this in tune !! Amazing !! Fantastic artistry here...
Super nice how it is in tune. And the guitar looks soo nice. The sides and all. Would love to just play it once. Although I certanly wouldn‘t do it justice.
Amazing playing by mr. Rincón. Really, really lovely execution. The baroque guitar is such an elegant instrument and I really love how the internet has somewhat brought this instrument back to the spotlight. I also like it has "survived" in the folk musical tradition of Brazil. The baroque guitar became really popular here and over time, due to local luthiers and musicians, it evolved into what we now call a "Viola Caipira". One can have a look at how similar they sound by checking out a video titled Bruno Sanches - Canarios here on RUclips.
So beautiful, spanish baroque music is unbelievably good
Thank you so much and yes, the guitarra barroca players from that period at Spain were really good :) But also French and Italians
@@miguelrincon7992 don't forget the Germans, like the ever-sexy JS Bach

I quite like me some Boccherini. I believe he was Italian but worked mostly in Spain.

Same here man. Bands like First Fragment, Equipoise, Ne Obliviscaris, Opeth all use a ton of classical influence in their writing.
