Paul, the very first avocado fruit that you pulled out of the box is, I’m quite sure, a ‘Wurtz’ avocado. The ‘Wurtz’ avocado variety is amazing in taste. It looks like a ‘Hass’. It is an abundant yearly producer. The tree never grows taller than 25 feet! I have this variety and I highly recommend it. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎉
The groceries where I live do not carry very nice fruits and vegetables, probably because people don't buy them much. I haven't had a nice avocado in years because I have only had ones at the stores. Usually they have no flavor and are full of bruises. Thank you for the information and the links.
Can you do taste tests video of the nishikawa? Of those other one avocado too? I live in California and could send you avocados if you would do a video review of them? I have california types edranol, Jim bacon, sir prize, gwen, lamb hass, reed, wurtz, holiday,

I send mango 🥭, dehydrated Jackfruit, and avocados 🥑 to my son in Oregon for the same reason.
That Marta looks like the scabby Lula I have on my tree 🌳 this season.
Just ordered a sample box this morning. We lost our Good Avocado tree (seedling) in Milton. Hopeful to find a good variety to plant this coming spring
Have to try that Oreo Negro!
