*Update* Steering Lock - this was 0 I believe because my wheel wasn’t plugged in when I made the video. Wheel rotation varies depending which car you are in. I use the following links to adjust wheel rotation per car:

Thanks bro. You saved my day. My PS5 was set up to 40 deg rotation by default. I thought that I forgot to drive until I used your settings. Now everything is fine.

My ps5 won’t let me choose 0 degrees it goes from 40 onwards 😢
Just got a G923 and I am loving it, having come from a controller. I'm brand new to Sim Racing and play on a PS4 at present and stumbled on to your video while researching settings for the wheel in ACC.
The settings I have at present are close to what you show but, you really helped me understand the grey areas.

The biggest downfall of rookie drivers is STEERING LOCK. You have to manually change your steering lock to match that of the car. There are videos and forums with all steering lock values for each car. This is the quickest way to become consistent and onto becoming a faster driver.
On PS4 I am unable to change this. Sticks on zero. Anybody else have this ?

What version of the game are you on? As you can see with the pinned comment above, you’ll need to change the settings if you’re on version 1.8 on PS5

What do you think of ACC in relation to GT Sport? It seems cool
It really does feel great when you’re driving. I could easily spend more time on ACC lapping a car by myself on a track. Graphics aren’t great in comparison to GT and sport mode is where GT really excels. I know the penalty system has it flaws, but for the most part the online racing on GT is fun, closely matched and when the FIA races are on, very competitive and rewarding.
GTSport looks good, acc feels good and has more enviorment.
Just got ACC. Ive played about a year on GTS. I think ACC feels better in driving. Both games are great it just depends on what your trying to do with a racing game.

Just got the Logitech G Pro for my ps4 pro..Going have to put it in 923 setting to play on this since ACC on ps4 doesn't support the G Pro wheel.
I believe the G pro came out after ACC stopped updating the PS4 version unfortunately
@@OllieRacing it's sad they stop supporting the ps4 version and at this point in time it's not worth updating to the PS5 until next year when the PS5 Pro version will be out.

Check that you have selected wheel rather than controller in control options then make sure that gear up/down are mapped to the correct buttons (e.g L1 and R1 I believe)
Comparison? Once you cannot tune your car to extract the best there is no comparison.
Do you mean the fact you cannot tune cars in sport mode on GT sport? Personally I am in favour of this from a sporting point of view as it provides a level playing field across a number of different cars without having to spend hours on each tuning set ups. If you are sticking to one car, for a prolonged period of time, then of course tuning will be rewarding in order to help you find a bit more time and also help the enjoyment of driving a single car without getting bored of its handling.
@@OllieRacing i used to think that way but each driver has different styles and that is not simulation. After several months of release on console a lot of my friends from GT Sport can't adapt to ACC and have ignored my invitations to join AOR leagues. Maybe you can help them decide so join Apexonlineracing via the website and also on discord. The Tiers are already decided and tge season is underway however you can still do the Hotstint time trial and depending on how you do you will be invited for an Evaluation race which can be one of our Social races free for all members or a special invite to our league practice races held prior to the League race. You are good enough so please join. You won't regret it ever. Message me PSN or AOR @WRC_madmax. Due to issues experienced by several regular drivers a number of reserves are now regular drivers. Your stream quality is missing as the main streams for AOR is the PC Leagues version. We help you get started with set-up etc.
The steering is so light with max ffb on t300. That’s the reason I don’t play it.

The game isn't registering the G29....am I missing something? The wheel calibrate itself but when I press the PS button. I can't do anything with the wheel
Hi mate, try loading the game up with the wheel turned on but the controller turned off. I’ve noticed that if I start the game with the controller then the wheel won’t respond in game sometimes

How do I select steering wheel from controller seems not to be saving when I click back
Both are selectable at all times. Change the settings on the wheel tab then select the button at bottom to save / load.
Type in a name and save it, it'll be visible bottom left.
Make sure any controller is disconnected when you start the game if you want to use the wheel.
Why my t300 not working in PS5 even base button green light on but in PS3 mode not PS4
I’m not sure as I have only used Logitech and Fanatec with PS5. I would suggest contacting Thrustmaster support as I believe it should work with PS5

Hi mate are you on a wheel or controller? I don’t think you can change the assignment of the throttle pedal as far as I am aware without adjusting your hardware
I can't set steer lock to 0, 40 is as low as it will go I play alot of GT7 what steering lock do you recommend and is it okay to have 1 steering lock for multiple cars?
Are you on PS4 or PS5? On PS5 you can set steer lock to maximum and it will automatically adjust for each car like in GT7. If you’re on PS4 you’ll need to change for each car. There’s a link in the video description to find the correct rotation for each car.

Just got a t300 gt and the throttle is on the clutch pedal and the brake is on the normal pedal. I can't figure out how i change the control bindings for the pedals from clutch pedal to normal pedal for throttle. Am I missing something?
Hi mate - 2 things. Make sure you have selected steering wheel rather than wireless controller. And then over on the left make sure that “throttle and brake positions” is set to normal
Turn on the wheel. Press and hold MODE button on the base for 5-10 sec. Release and you will see the light change from green to red. This switched the pedal and throttle.

Why did you leave out the ignition button
I left it it because personally I’d rather use free buttons for something more useful than ignition such as TC or ABS. You can set the game to just do the ignition automatically

Yes, I tried the 488 with 480 degrees. Found 420 degrees was better, yet on my other rig (PS5/G29) 480 degrees was fine
@@supercededman that’s really strange 🤔. Personally I like to set the rotation to the values in the link above, and then use the cockpit view in game where the wheel is removed. I’ve always found the ingame wheel a bit distracting when I’ve got an actual wheel in front of me too
I’m not sure why, but when I try and setup my shortcuts, I am unable to use L2 and R2 as shortcut buttons.
Hi mate, that is unusual. Are you able to assign all the other buttons without issues? What wheel are you using?
@@OllieRacing yep, everything else works. I even deleted and reinstalled the game, but there was no change. I use a CSL Elite wheelbase and pedals with the Club sport Formula Wheel (Csl elite F1 Set).

@@OllieRacing I’ve been communicating with another YT channel where I stated the same comments in his comment section as well. He recommended updating the drivers and software, and i have never done that before, so I will do that today and see if this revolves the issue.
Yes that could definitely be worth a try. Just make a note of your saved tuning menu settings as updating the wheelbase will reset them.
Has anyone fixed the issue of the acceleration going to 100% with pedal only half way down??

@@OllieRacing when you press the throttle down half way what % do you get on the HUD in ACC?
It works fine for me - with about half throttle the HUD will show the green bar at about half way
@@OllieRacing with the G29 pedals? Mine is pretty annoying, I’ve tried adjusting all settings and they do nothing! I’ve had to resort to wedging the pedal from behind so that as the HUD reaches 100% the pedal stops.
No, I don’t have a G29 anymore - I have the Fanatec v3 pedals. I never had an issue with the G29 pedals before though on ACC. Were they working correctly for you before the 1.8 update?

You can add a deadzone to the throttle using the in game settings. If you wanted to do anything else you would have to configure your pedals on a PC first

Sounds like some sort of bug. Have you tried restarting the game and turning wheel on and off?
My lock will only go to 40° ?

Does having shift up and down as buttons mean you can’t use the paddles on the wheel?
The paddles are registered as R1 and L1 so as long as they are selected to shift up and down that’s how you’ll change gear. If you really wanted to you could change shift up and down to X and O for example and use the paddles to flash your lights and turn your windscreen wipers on. Not too sure why you’d want to do that though!
@@OllieRacing but what if you want to use the paddles on the G29 to shift? I’d have thought they’d be the default setting, but when I use ACC with my G29 clicking the paddles doesn’t change gears and I can’t figure out how to make them be the shifter.
You need to select that you’re using a wheel rather than a controller, then map the shift up and down to r1 and l1
@@OllieRacing I did select wheel rather than controller, but I still can’t figure out how to make the G29’s paddles work as the shifters rather than the buttons which appear to be the default setting (my screen looks the same as yours). I don’t want to shift with any buttons. In the non-comp version of AC it sees that I’m using a G29 and the paddles are the shifters by default. What am I missing here?
The shifters are buttons. They are R1 and L1. As long as you have these assigned then you can use them to change gear

Pause the game when driving and go into options then controls. And select “steering wheel” as your driving controller at the top

@@gulliblemuppetsheep135 If you’re not too fussed about the GT4 cars then I’d probably get the 2020 world challenge pack and the track pack first. The British GT pack hasn’t been released yet however looking forward to that for Oulton Park and Donnington! (Not the biggest fan of Snetterton)

I'm new to this I only got a steering wheel 2 days ago. The delux version says it comes with all downloads for £35 so I will get that to start with. Their's also a season pass fo £20. Do you know if that's worth it?
@@gulliblemuppetsheep135 Nice one! The season pass includes the 2020 world challenge pack and the GT4 pack and then I believe you’ll get the British GT too when it’s released. So if you plan to get everything it may work out cheaper to get the season pass.

Hey mate, not sure why that would be. Make sure that the wheel is selected and you have assigned it as a controller. Then see if it makes a difference turning the GAIN up. Does it work in other games?

@@hellboundiver its working perfectly, problem was i connected the wheel to the ps4 before turning the ps4 on, so it didn't power correctly. Just start the ps4 first connect it after and yiur golden
