1.Why do penny stock companies reverse split their stock?
Companies, especially the small caps, become publicly listed to raise money from investors. Most penny stocks are vehicles for inside shareholders to dilute and hence generate cash flow as ATM offerings.
So these stocks try very hard to stay listed on Nasdaq, to do so they must keep $1 bid minimum. That's why these stocks reverse split to reduce their share price, and tighten up their float outstanding. So the stock becomes easier to be bid up when they conveniently release PR after the reverse split is finished!
That's why we see $VIVE release PR, and Goldman Sachs scooping up some common shares just days after their 1 for 100 reverse split. Someone's definitely making money from this pump, just not the investors.
2. How to find reverse split penny stocks to trade EARLY?
I personally use Benzinga pro to screen for recent reverse split stocks that released PR with headline keywords such as "reverse split", "delisting", and "offering". That tells me that these stocks are struggling to stay compliance with Nasdaq, and will do something soon to pump their stock up after the reverse split is finished.
3.How to buy penny stocks early?
Theres plenty of money to be made by waking up early. Benzinga pro sends live email alerts whenever the penny stocks I'm tracking release a PR headline, files SEC filing etc. So I already know what to do when I see volume trading above average premarket on $VIVE. I know the support to buy the dips and sell at highs near premarket before dilution happens at the opening spike.

@lauryjerry1566 my bad. I was just talking about RUclips content she put out back then. I felt like we can learn a lot from what was free. It turns out a lot of the traders I watch have expensive sites charging thousands. I work with what's free though.

Generally reverse splits are bad because companies only do it to appear like a better investment so I suggest investing before the reverse split, other less informed investors will see the rise and think wow this is amazing and invest and then you can sell

2. Can you talk about how someone who works 7am-4pm can prepare to begin to swing trade (day trading is out of the question)? How would you personally do it?

I never thought about the potential of a reverse split making a name a low floater. Makes sense! And people say reverse splits don't mean anything...
The penny stock market's been dead like for 2 weeks or more, everything is failing to actually breakout, stocks under subdollar are actually gapping but also failing, I'm focusing currently on mid-cap or large-cap stocks like roku, once the market picks backup for the penny, I'mma go ahead...but I would love to know your opinion about the market and how u r approaching.

When you said Goldman Sachs likes to take initiate a position in companies who are going to release a PR to pump up the share price, I remembered seeing that somewhere recently. I started looking around and found a headline "Goldman Sachs briefly builds stake in Meme Stock Orphazyme". It's one that ran up hard post PR pre offering. Lol funny. Double tapped the Like Button!!! I totally did not factor in the Shs Outstanding & Shs Float during a stock split. I have been working on the ultimate watch-list to incorporate stock splits. Outstanding new setup especially with the computer screens in the back. Mahalo most Humbled One!
I use google search to find reverse stock split, check news and it usually show up. I actually lost $2/share for VIVE, the only problem is you don't know when will the PR drop and when is the lowest to enter the trade, but I learn my lesson for not cutting lost quickly.

You can use a gap scanner. Anyway, you have to wait until the stock starts to move up and only then buy. Buying it right after the reverse split will be dangerous because stock can fall even more.
This is the scariest video i have seen on reverse splits. I went through a roller coaster ride of my trades.

I'm intimately familiar with reverse splits i.e. ACB and GRPN. what I've learned is that, in both of these cases, they'll trade for example, 1 for every 20 shares you own. the value is the same for both but now instead of paying $1 for 20 shares you now own 1 share for $20. here is where they rob you. if you have 29 shares valued @ $29 they'll still only give you 1 share valued at $20 losing the value of, and missing from your portfolio, the other 9 shares. it's not alot of money to lose initially but the selloff afterwards will sting a bit.

When/how does one actually go about buying the stock for the cheap price after the reverse split? For example, in testing this method out, I tried to buy AHT in premarket on July 16 because the reverse split occurred after the market closed on July 15. But both Robinhood and WeBull showed AHT as temporarily unavailable. Today, same thing happened with SCYX; The reverse split initiated today July 17, so I set an alarm for 3am CST, but when I tried to buy shares at that time, the stock was unavailable until this morning, after the price already went back up as a result of the split.

I did not hear anything that couldn't have been explained with luck. I do give her cred. for the research ideas though. Especially about following up on information and not just buying the hype of large investors buying in when in fact they are just looking to get suckers to buy after them so they can sell.

Please make live trading demonstration session. I find it hard to believe that this works in practice.
A split or reverse split does not change the value of a company. Similarly we could suggest to always shorten a stock before dividend payment because it will go down and people start selling it. Won't happen either.
