Not gonna lie best mechanic I know on youtube
Great tech tip on vband @3:45!🎉
After you fit the turbo blanket back on you might consider some line protection and maybe a blanket for the boost valve, it looks like it’s going to get pretty hot in there. I’ve used the reflective gold foil on some sensitive gear, like the boost controller, with good results. Wrapping the intake after the cooling is usually good for 3-5 degrees iat. That’s going to be a sweet setup.
Man I love the ef content great work I usually run bigger tire on my ef 225
Those mac valves say on the sticker on the front that they max at 85c. Your going to cook that to not working pretty fast where you put it.
Love watching the builds. I would not trust that zip tie on the fuel line to the turbo setup. I've had that combo leak fuel on a riding mower no matter how tight I pulled it with pliers.
NICE! I have a BoostJunkyz manifold for my 8thgen civic Si and its been awesome.
Sick setup always….thank you for all the knowledge and help for people… MacGyver…will make it work
Your a badass wrench and fabricator. If you need to swap back you can do it in one day.
1.09 housing for 450 HP is massive! I'd run that turbo with something closer to a .63 bro. That thing will be super lazy down low and spool time will take much longer.
It was spooling too early with the 63 and 82. I did the 109 to push the spool further up. The engine is 11:1cr and the spool is still early for my likings.
@@YoungStatic makes sense! I'm running .63 on my SRT4 with a 56mm and it spools great at 500 ish hp. But I'm also 8.5:1 cr.
I run a .63 on srt4 too lol
That 1.09 hosting will help with your wheel spin.
Let's go static my boy 💪💪💪 first 🔥🔥🔥 content as always
Let's goo!!!
Yay first one
😂 really man
Man I love the Ef sedan action! Anyone know what the world record for one in the 1/4 is? I'm running a 9.64@130 and am trying to figure this out. Thanks
When is racehorse in north California
Would a 3an line be ok for precision turbos as a sort of restrictor for the feed? I hear that they sometimes can't handle the high oil pressures of the k series (somewhere around 90 plus at highway speed) and can blow out the oil seals.
And if not, what size restrictor would you suggest for a 62mm precision?
What oil do you use?
