I recommend face wash with Salycylic Acid (acne-prone skin wash) to remove stubborn stained color. I have skunk stripes above my ears of Iro Iro neon pink, and it constantly fades off back to pale yellow just on the hairline. I use CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser. I have to touch up my hairline every month or so, and the rest every 6 months, because the rest just does not fade (which I like, that's why I decided to use it after your review). You could try mixing it in with your vitamin c treatments, or mix it with your sulfate shampoo when you start trying to fade. It doesn't strip my skin so I don't think it would be too harsh on the hair. 🖤🖤🖤

I’m fading out my rainbow hair too, red and purple are being stubborn to come out for me. 😅
I literally only use dishsoap to get rid of unwanted pigment in my hair (used it also when I colored my hair darker and it got TOO dark becasue my bleached hair was too porous) and it did actually work very well and to my favor. Vitamin C always causes irritations and rashes around my hairline (and anywhere else but my scalp and it drips everywhere), so I prefer dishsoap. I also can't use Vitamin C in skincare, so... yah.
You should try Nioxin instead of dandruff shampoo, the one for normal hair I think it's just number 1! I think it will help you out a lot next time
Id say cut the ends as time or two while waiting for the rest to grow so you can get an even bob. Such cute tweezers.

I’d say cut your hair into a bob. If you’re gonna get rid of those ends, may as well get it as even as you can right? Hair grows back and it saves you trying to cut an inch off every time before you do the big cut if you just do the cut anyway. If that was me that’s what I’d do. I had a perm once and was sick of my layers and wanted it one length but not too short so I got it as much to the shortest layer as possible and my hair was even and grew really fast now it’s getting long again and that was 2022, so get all the dead hair off and new colour, new style, new start right? What’s the worst that can happen?
