I mean it’s to each there own with style esp a song that’s been out for so long and there so many versions! So depending on how it’s done I don’t mind ppl making it there own! However I do agree that I love her version! Though she still is doing slight runs and etc there just subtle 😊

Actually, I think Idina Menzel was cast in this role originally precisely because her voice wasn't so pretty and sweet. Some characters aren't supposed to be beautiful.
@@straightarrow372 actually, it was stephanie j block, she did all the workshops, but she wasn’t as big on broadway as idina was she said she was so disappointed she wouldn’t open the show.
I am so proud to of performed with her at my local theatre, truly a once in a lifetime experience ❤
Wow. Her voice control is amazing. She hit the notes so smoothly. The song is still powerful but doesn't hurt your ears. I love it!

This song hit me so hard because of the lyrics, i gave all i had in a toxic relationship and its been over for 1,5 years still i find myself depressed and i try to get better in therapy and now i heard this song because of a stupid coincidence (airport musical from SNL i wanted to check the original song)
I sat there listening to the lyrics and crying because i felt so strong and i felt something else but sadness and loss for the first time in more than a year i cant describe how powerful i felt all of a sudden! My future is unlimited and ill give it a try and defy gravity, thanks to whoever wrote this song and to jake because i came here from an SNL skit because of his part
