I love the haircut! I rarely do a New Year’s resolution but last year I decided my goal was to send out birthday and anniversary cards and I didn’t miss any through all of 2023. This year I don’t have anything. I don’t enjoy cooking either, but I can cook. I do meal planning 1 month at a time. It’s easier for me that way because there’s no emotion in it, just put the meals in. I always do the same type of meal on the same days so that makes it easier too, Mondays are pasta, Tuesday are chicken, and so on.
Joy, I do monthly goals. It's been good for me. Since it takes about a month to build a habit, it's a good timeframe to work on something. If I succeed, I'll add something else that seems attainable next month. If not, I'll stick to my first goal.

Happy New Year to the Forsyths! I’ve now cut my hair twice using a YT video, I believe it was the butterfly cut. Parted my hair into two sections making the part just behind the ears, pull both parts into ponytails, first one right at your forehead and the second one a high pony, It’s two cuts! Two! Getting all the tangles out first took longer than the cut. Last time I didn’t cut it quite short enough, so going to do it again pretty soon. No point in having long hair if you’re going to wear it up all the time, and I wear it up all the time because I’m too old to have long grey hair just hanging down. It’s a far cry from my beautiful red hair! Baby Gunner is getting so big! He will be walking all over before long, one of my grands walked at about nine months, I walked at 8 months! My firstborn was over a year old before she walked, but tried to walk for a couple of months before she actually did. She never crawled.

Good luck with Gideon...lol...i say this with love! Many, many years ago, my daughter was 5 months old she was barely crawling. One day she started using a coffee table to stand and a couple of days later she started taking a couple of steps. 39 years later she has not stopped moving!
Not only does your new haircut look amazing on you but your scalp love it too especially if you began experiencing your loss or thinning of the hair which is due to stress and hormonal changes even at your young age I experience that the same thing except I waited too wrong to cut my hair which was way too long. I find that instead of putting so many mini goals to try and accomplish I like to list a few things such as grow closer toGod in a more intimate way (which can be different every few weeks). Try and find new ways to be a blessing to someone every day.(which can be sending a text or a card in the mail or treating someone to a coffee.) note: not boasting about it is key.😉. When it comes to health getting more sleep or adding more greens to your meals. Trying to stay reasonable with expectations and not setting yourself up for failure is key. One year each family member had a jar with our names on it and we would write something down about each other on paper that was a good quality that we noticed that day and put it in their jar. Words of affirmation ❤️

Your hair turned out so cute, good job! I thought you guys thinking about your future plans is a great idea! I'd suggest an household planner to help you in accomplishing some of those. There's so many but a couple include the features you mentioned...meal planning, Calendar, Goals, Spiritual goals and daily/weekly activities. One I like is Passionate Penny Pincher includes cleaning too. The other I've been watching her videos and blog is Laura at Get organize HQ. I love how she breaks down everything. Hope this helps

I love that you’re taking dancing lessons! The dance is the Rumba, and the robot vacuum is the roomba!! Sounds the same. Love your hair too.

I find that instead of putting so many mini goals to try and accomplish I like to list a few things such as grow closer toGod in a more intimate way (which can be different every few weeks). Try and find new ways to be a blessing to someone every day.(which can be sending a text or a card in the mail or treating someone to a coffee.) note: not boasting about it is key.😉. When it comes to health getting more sleep or adding more greens to your meals. Trying to stay reasonable with expectations and not setting yourself up for failure is key. One year each family member had a jar with our names on it and we would write something down about each other on paper that was a good quality that we noticed that day and put it in their jar. Words of affirmation ❤️
