The Church Feeding Compulsions......does it resignate with me? Yes a million times! Mark, I started listening to your teaching 2 years ago and have been blessed so so many times by your teachings. You have put into words things that I have felt for years and yet have so seldom, if ever, found someone that teaches them from the heart like you do! I missed the Live, but I wanted to add to the list of really fun, upbeat latin Christian music, an artist named "Musiko," also "Alex Campos" his latest album is really good if you like Colombian Cumbia and Reggaeton. Specifically, "Tú Tan Mío,"by Alex Campos ...really puts you in a good mood while exalting God! I live in Miami so I am in the loop with this stuff!
Partially obese....😂😂 That was amazing. That story was awesome. You guys have been such an extra encouragement to me lately as I maneuver through my relationship OCD since I started dating someone. With your help, I've been sitting with and working through the triggers and allowing God to teach me by His grace. Y'all are such a godsend!
I want to first thank God for helping me with my Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) as my therapist puts it. God has introduced me to Mark and his videos. If it weren’t for his videos/books, I would have never known I have OCD (which my therapist has confirmed) as well as anxiety. By knowing this I can understand my behavior and the tools to use to overcome this nightmare I have been living all my life. I’m 62 and finally learning about myself. Thank you Mark! God Bless you and your family ❤

It comes down to belief, that the blood and resuration is enough and my feelings don't cooperate. Now how to starve out compulsions, without being compulsive about it. Thank you Jesus. Strive to enter His rest, .....sigh.
@ Mark De Jesus thinking about the inner critic, are you familiar with “parts work”? Like IFS? I’m wondering if the inner critic is a historically motivated part trying to save us from something? Doing a job that had a function at one point but now is no longer helpful? A part that, like you said, needs compassion and even an introduction to Jesus, the one most capable of handling the things that part has been trying to do? And a part that needs to be invited “back home”?
