First time I've heard it stated like like but all their recognizable tendencies, inside jokes, personal traits & phrases make you feel part of or "in the know".
Clarkson, Hammond, and May could make a show about gardening and it would still be entertaining. Their passion and chemistry are just out of this world.

The comedic timing when James has to collect Richard from the racetrack in the Crosley is sensational! The silence, the serious faces…the image of tiny car coming into view. Its a f*cking masterpiece 😂 The last time I cried laughing that hard was when James soaked himself by braking with the portable fish-tank Car in Africa🤣🤣
Also the wax museum... genuinely laughed out-loud the entire way through (and with the Nigel Mansel impersonations by Clarckson that followed) and found myself surprised at how long its been since something made me laugh like that... and for that long
Original Top Gear and Grand Tour are the best things to watch period even over and over, so many episodes that you can always go to a season and find something you had forgotten about and enjoy again.

Chris Evans is a very smart guy and I’m sure he realized not long after he started at Top Gear that it’s never about individuals. You can find 3 best entertainers or comedians in the world and put them together and they wouldn’t come close to those 3 old chaps. It’s all about chemistry and you can’t fake that.

Top Gear and The Grand Tour are comedic genius and so feel-good they're almost therapeutic! Just like watching old episodes of the comedy greats like Billy Connolly. I hope they keep going as the trio's recipe of dependable old-school fun seems unmatched.
I genuinely felt bad for James May in Eurocrash. I hope he really was able to visit the cool historical sites and it just wasnt filmed to make the show better.

Yeah last time he was in anything decent (when it goes for old used cars) was IMO the Lotus in the Patagonia special. He would have done well with the Merc for fish saving too if it wasn't destroyed right from the get-go . No wonder they're tiring/wearing out from going on these trips, they're doing the dumbest cars for the challenge in the worst possible conditions, we'd be happy to see them just going with sensible cars around on pubs reviewing beer or something
I would honestly watch a 1 hour long interview where Chris interviews Jeremy, Richard and James and they all just have a chat show. Considering that they're hinting that the end of TGT is getting nearer - still quite a long way away but it's inevitable that it'll happen at some point - I think this more laid back podcast-ish style content where they just ramble on about cars and stories from the show or their previous works and things like that * but still mostly cars *, would be a very enjoyable thing to watch. And doable, because there's no need to take a whole production team to global locations or other production-related trouble.

There are very few things in this world that are truly special. Those three and the relationship they have cultivated and the way they convey their love for cars to a massive audience is. Top Gear was truly special and the grand tour is truly special

For me, this last episode was amongst the very best. It was a homage to many elements from previous shows, it felt very personal, and it lacked the completely over-the-top absurdity of earlier Grand Tour episodes. It was a great way to go out, with a tear jerking ending. At least for me.
Usually the narrator arrives first, talk about his choice is the best. Got disturbed by the 2nd one arrival. Arguing, disturbed by the last person arriving, either mocked or mocking the 2 😂
Hate to break it to you, but there’s only a few more left. Amazon won’t be renewing their contracts since it turns out clarkson upset a lot people and got them canceled.

@Paul_TC97 it is not a crappy watch dude. Even though the production is quite large, there's still a lot of human touch and quality in the product. Are they worth the money? At current state of market, I still think it is a bit highly priced. But I never said I admire the watch for its impressive price, but rather what a beautiful piece the Explorer II Polar White is. Hammond has great taste in watches, and I can't help but watch spot when I watch anything by the TGT trio. May also has a very interesting taste in watches, and he has even a few more affordable watches, but also stuff like Omega and Rolex. And Clarkson mainly like Omega watches that's a billion lightyears in diameter. But he also has a few other cool brands among his collection as well.

I kind of don't want to watch the latest one. It's going to sound odd but the previous one, A Scandi Flick, was the first time I could see the 'script' in action, it just felt like they were hitting points from a list rather than it being a fun adventure.
Must sting a little for Chris to have to face the facts. He can’t compare to Jeremy Clarkson. Evans has A face made for radio, and he should have never tried to fill Clarkson’s shoes.
