I cant believe its 2019, i used to listen this song when I was in school many years ago, when hetalia was so popular, I think it was 8 years ago, and I still love this song and many others, being part of the hetalia fandom is a important thing in my life

I honestly think that HRE is Germany. I have little proof but this: Chibitalia loved HRE, just like Italy loves Germany. This is probably because they are the same person. Italy/Chibitalia fell deeply in love with HRE, and still loved him when he became Germany. I believe that HRE might've gotten hurt in battle and developed amnesia, so he had no memory of his past life. HRE then took a different name and grew up as Germany. It makes sense if you think about it...
But in the last comic strip made by Himaruya, Germany IS NOT HRE. Germany made by Prussia with the tribes in Germany (Prussia is uniting them all) and become Koenigreich Deutschland or German Empire with the leader Prussia.

Maybe Ger48 put life back into Holy Rome's body?

OhmyGod. I read a fanficiton based off this and had no idea. Then I saw anotehr and it said it was based off this amv.
This is...so sad. Yet, I couldn't ask for a better ending. It's rare for me to like an ending such as this. When there's total heartbreak, then the last few seconds or paragraph or two is just total...awh. It's only happened three times. Creator, you are a God.

i love this video, makes me cry, but....in the manga it says holy rome died in battle, and chibitalia grew up to be Italy. so....Germany cant be holy rome. in the manga it said Italy loves him so much because he reminds him of holy rome....cuz hes dead. so, no matter how amazingly wonderful this video is, I had to say it :)

@ujupingjete It's believed in the battle where it's thought HRE died he actually lost his memory. There's actually a Valentine's strip where Germany seems to remember his life as HRE slightly but it's still opened for debate if he truly is or not.

it's left open to speculation; the only part where it said he died was in a strip that was latter scrapped. also papa hima said that hre and chibitalia would have a happy ending. previously when hetalia was new, hre was probably meant to be someone different but the newer manga and anime highly suggest he's germany, along with the valentines day comic. germany gets a memory of chibitalia, and has hre's hands.
