  • Fancy a swift half? About half an hour that is, as we head on a kind of virtual pub crawl via a selection of archive films. Join our host Jez Stewart on a journey of nostalgia, curiosities and unusual characters as we dig into the BFI’s Britain on Film archive to explore pubs, and the people who made them, on screen with a selection of vintage public houses on film taken from the BFI National Archive and regional archive partners from across the UK. With lockdown restrictions continuing just a little longer, why not whet your appetite with a vintage pint in the comfort of your own home.

Be lucky if you can find 24 pubs within jogging distance if each other these days to break that record
