AI was "taking jobs from people" as far back as the mid-1970's that I know of FOR A FACT!!!
Each "robot" (3× "Overton Arm" machines and 3× "Unimac" ¿or "Unimag"?) replaced at least 2× People and in some cases 1 of the robots would "do the job of" 3× Human Beings! ... This was as far back as 1977!!!
