Is it just me or do most of their songs sound like anime openings but English like it just feels similar like the energetic guitar part at the start, then goes back to slower lyrics and builds up in speed until the chorus which is followed up by another energetic guitar part and it repeats with the lyrics being slower then building up afterwards. Intentional or not I'm loving it.

This is the first Good Kid song I ever heard and still my favorite. There is something about this track it is hard for me to describe. Old school alternative rock but with a unique take that feels modern. I haven't heard dueling guitars like this since the Arctic Monkeys. Bassline is groovy, drums compliment so well, so upbeat. The lyricism is out of this world! So easy to sing along to. Fantastic, fantastic. I listen to this song every single day. I love it so much

if anyone's curious, I've had witches (by good kid ofc) in my playlist for a bit, and I loved it but didn't listen to any of their other stuff (yeah I'm ashamed too lol). a few days ago, I was watching a video with this in the background, and good kid has such a distinctive sound that I was like "hey wait, is that good kid?" even though i had only heard witches. I looked it up, and it was!
