That Colts team dealt with injuries all season long and by the end they just ran out of gas. It's amazing they won 13 games that season. Also San Diego was a thorn in Indy's side for so many years it was unbelievable.
As a Colts fan, this Chargers game still stings all these years later. Had the game in the bag. Peyton left the field with the lead. Rivers and L.T. left the game with injuries. And yet, that defense let Billy freaking Volek drive 80 yards on them and win in their house. Smh. Hell of a game tho.
This was so frustrating because the Patriots should have had to play the Colts and instead they got a ridiculously wounded Chargers team but thankfully even though they avoided one Manning brother they couldn’t avoid both, and Eli stopped the perfect season instead. #NYG
The Giants was hungry that year getting back to the big dance and it was a great retirement present for Michael Strahan to win it. And the Patriots was 16-0 in the season all the way to the Superbowl 😊. Don Shula was laughing at all of New England.
Shula has no reason to laugh. His "perfect" Dolphins only played two +.500 teams (8-6) all season until the playoffs. Most overrated "perfect" team in history.
@@indy_go_blue6048 Yea granted 2007 AFC East was also a sad joke with the fins being a 1 win team that year. Still Pats played 4 division winners that season. Including a 13-3 Colts and Dallas team. And don't forget the Giants won every NFC playoff game on the road. Including Green Bay and Dallas. These teams were a combined 13-3 at home. Even the Buccs only lost two games at home that season. Just one of those teams of destiny. Happens.
Manning had some choke jobs, but this one isn't really on him. Harrison fumbles and two tipped interceptions off the receivers hands, all of which occurred in Chargers territory, which means the Colts receivers threw away 21 points. Plus the defense giving up a game-winning drive to Billy Volek.
It's funny as hell when you're high smoking a blunt 😊😊😊😊. Michael Strahan said in his press conference " Maybe T.O can watch the Championship game on his big screen with his popcorn lol.
Colts and Manning were some choke artist! Eli got as many rings and played in half as many post season games as Peyton! With a 8-4 career record, as were Peyton is 14-12 with a bunch of 1 an dones

If only they won a SB !
@@AmirKhan-yv8jmIf so, Philip Rivers would probably be a consensus Hall of Famer.

And that was one of the only years the Colts had a good defense during the Manning era
The Colts offense let down the defense…twice they had 1st & Goal but ended up with 0 points, an INT and turnover on downs!
This was when the nfl was at its greatest moments like every year was competitive and such a good presentation made it really fun to watch.
Right!

They had 1st and Goal late in the game and he went 0 for 4
17:30 "he's my Quarterback" speech

That was some beta shit !
7:18 difference between the old game and the new game. Today Colts wouldve took the penalty and won the game
No guarantee the Colts win…they had just been stopped on 4 plays inside the San Diego 10
I mean he got hit in the ribs so it wouldn’t be a penalty
Only one of the eight teams in this video went on to hoist the Lombardi trophy 3 weeks later. #NYG
chargers ruining the playoffs, everyone knew they couldnt beat new england, at least indy had a chance...
Do you have the conference championship edition from that year?
(Giants-Packers, Patriots-Chargers)

harrison got ghost in the playoffs
