Hello, this pattern is designed in Canada, so the sizes will differ from UK sizes. I think it’s always best to measure your bust, waist and hips and choose a size based on your measurements. As this is a two piece, you can also go for a different size tip and trousers. 😊
@@FlyingBobbinsTutorials thanks for the reply. Based on the measurements (and converting Canadian sizes to UK) this pattern would have me making it 4 sizes larger than I usually buy in the shops. I’m also hoping to make a set as a gift but I only know the lady’s standard uk size so was wondering if you have any knowledge of whether it running smaller than normal converted sizes is fairly consistent- I want the gift to be a surprise so don’t want to ask her for her measurements 🤦🏻♀️
@@rebeccafindlay9068 ah, I see. I found it to come up true to size myself. Also made for my mum and was true to her size as well. Best bet is to look on the closet core website and look at their finished garment measurements (also in your instructions) .You can then hold a tape measure round your body at the finished garment measurements to check. For the gift you could compare measurements with the womenswear measurements table on marks and Spencer’s, then you can see if the sizes tally up? Good luck! Liz x
Brilliant clear tutorial and angles I have learnt so much thank you 💕

How do you find the sizes on this pattern compare to standard uk sizes? I’ve seen a few people online suggest it might run small?

The measurements can be found on the back of the pattern envelope.
