Hi. Just ordered the reversible xmas cracker box kit. I was hoping for a choice of colours and designs to choose from as i loved the cream and gold design. But if there was only the one that was pictured on the web site to choose from that'll have to do. Thankyou Liz. Loved the tutorial.

Great tutorial, once my fabric arrives I'll be watching you again. In my opinion it's a no for the pockets, a bit floppy but the dress looks great.

Hi, To stop the pockets sagging, interface between the folds and you will obtain a much better finish.

Thanks so much for this. I have been scratching my head for hours on this step and found how you laid the two legs side by side before posting one into the other so helpful. I wasn't clear about what you meant about the seams at the fork. Do you have them all two pieces together (so four on top of each other)? If so to the back of the trousers? Thanks again.

How wide is the shoulder seam 3/8 or 5/8?

Just wanted to say thank you for this series. After an initial disaster, I've made four lovely dresses that are perfect for work and one is also a bit more special. I put side seam pockets in them all. For the second one onwards, I narrowed the skirt to take some of the fullness out. Your instructions helped this rusty sewer so much!

My goodness, your videos are awesome/well-explained. I've been sewing for many years but had a question about the construction/cutting out on the bodice pieces and I feel totally confident that I'll be able to make the most amazing Caftan for my trip to Hawaii. Thank you so much!!!

So I just followed everything step by step, went to try on the bodice before I sewed the side seams and it barely fits over my head - I can only get it on if I tug and scrape off all my makeup 😭

Hi Thanks your great videos. I am making the ruched sleeve version and i have an original pattern and it is showing the elastic stitching line start point but not the point to where the elastic stitching line. There is nothing printed on the pattern ? Am i being stupid Meryl x

Hello and thank you for the tutorial. I have the following query: I will sew some aprons and will use stainless steel D-rings. As these are fabrics, they will definitely need to be washed in the washing machine. I have been told not to use a stainless steel D-ring in the washing machine because it will rust. I'm a bit confused. I would like to have your opinion as well. Thank you for your time and help.
