    Bro your soo lucky I’ve been in a 170 cab but I didn’t feel like the driver would let me but yeah still hoping set one up at some time (although I did get to blow the horn on a 66 and set the reverser to forward and press the Vigilance pedal

    You shouldn’t of filmed that.
    You could of easily caused the Staff involved to be in trouble.
    Nice you had the chance; but this is what causes train companies to be incredibly strict around enthusiasts.
    Only trying to help.
    Now about shit from some Tik Tok / autism ridden peeps 😃

      I don't think so because there was an instructor (management) *and* driver there. It's a shame that some people are just jealous, envious and bitter.

      The driver instructor just handed me the master key without me asking and asked if I wanted to set it up

    Brilliant. What an amazing, kind driver to take a kid through that. What an experience for a train enthusiast. i wish there were more drivers like this for young enthusiasts and that the train operating companies would support promoting the railways more with exciting experiences like this. Well done EMR.
