Usedom reminds me, a bit, of Mackinac Island in Michigan (USA). If you’re visiting in the summer Mackinac is well worth a visit!

Rügen is probably larger, pagans were there for the longest time, apart from on the eastern coast of Lithuania and Prussia conquered by Latin Christian barbarians
