Well... Congrats to them for the increase of the efficiency which was waaaayyyyy overdue. But... If broad adoption comes by 2026, wired charging will reach 100-120w on a broad scale with precise PPS-voltage protocols... In that case i will skip Qi2 and remain with wired charging? Why? Because it will heat up the battery less than with wireless charging. Qi2 with 50w charging seems a decent capacity... But only on new phones after 2026... Rather high-end devices in 2027 and broad adoption in rather 2028... Long way to go and we'll see what wired competition will be at by this time... Broad acceptance of maxing out USB-C at 48V/5amp... 240w?? We'll see what the future will bring. 😅😅👋👋
