It's amazing... just used it last weekend to do another deck and will be using this week to clean my mother in laws sidewalks at her condo. Let me know what you think!
Just a lil pro advise. The slower you go with these type of machines the better they work. Always use an after treatment of 1% to 3% mix of sodium hydrochloride and water. You can apply with a pump sprayer. Then do a final rinse.
Awesome, thanks for the pro tip, I'm looking forward to using this more once it warms up. Assume the after treatment is for wood only? What if anything is needed on concrete? Thanks - Josh
@@hardybrothersproductreviews Basically you can use regular household bleach or pool chlorine to remove any outdoor mold, algae and mosses. All the little organism that grow outside the house, will also remove most of the black spots off the driveway after running your surface cleaner . let set for 10 to 15 minutes then rinse. Recommend to stay in the 2 to 3% range on your chemical to water mix per gallon.
Mine is undersized so it will just take some extra passes most likely. I’d go with it. What size is it? I’ve tried a 20” one and would stick to the 12-16” range size.
I have an important question. I purchased a 4400psi at 4.2gpm PW. I then purchased an Eveage 16.5” surface cleaner because on the website it says it can handle up to 4500psi. I got the Eveage but it states on the unit and the manual 4000psi max. Now I may have a problem. But would it be alright given that PW’s put out less psi when engaged? I hope I don’t have to return this surface cleaner.

@@hardybrothersproductreviewsthank you, but do you have any suggestions on how to go about washing the underside of the deck of a riding mower? Thank you
@@lawrenceeason8007 this link will show the types of ones I have, amzn.to/4eQ9zvr, but honestly I'm not sure the deck would raise up high enough to get one of these under it. my guess would be that you need to drive it up on ramps or if you have a shallow ditch that you can drive through and straddle... sorry, not sure of any other great approaches.
I saw that they have a new model that can be used for both cleaning floors and washing underchassis. "EVEAGE Upgrade 2-in-1 Undercarriage & Pressure Washer Surface Cleaner..."
That's pretty cool, hand't seen that before. Will have to ask them if they can send me a demo unit. :-) Here it is for anyone interested, seems it just flips upside down somehow. amzn.to/3IYXcyu
Yikes! What is the drop off distance where the deck is missing its railing? In the US it can't be more than 30 inches above grade level to meet code. *Sorry but I would be remise if I didn't say something and somebody got seriously hurt or worse.
Yes it is high and dangerous. It is being renovated and turned into a screened porch so I didn’t put up a railing. Building codes are state and local specific and frankly out here in the country there aren’t codes or code enforcement, but I agree the former owners traded safety for the unobstructed pond view
@@hardybrothersproductreviews TBH when I left the first comment, I stopped watching @3:00 and it looked like the deck was at tree top level. Now that I've watched the rest of the video, I see that's not quite the case. So, it's not as crazy hazardous as it first looked. Great video! Thanks for taking the time to do it.
@@hardybrothersproductreviews my kärcher is 180bar when i connect with it its just shake came water 1second and it stop and again same again same idk why😢
@@LiamProONE hmm, I would have thought that would be enough pressure, wonder if you got a bad unit... 180bar is 2600 psi and the product specs call for 2000-4000...
Yes. Lol you mean the lack of a railing or the fact it’s covered in green slime? Plan is to build a screened porch. Original owners didn’t have a railing to avoid interfering with the view of the pond
So I’ll have to check for sure when I go back to my cabin. I know my pressure was within suggested range but my gpm I think was lower. The specs for this one calls for 2000-4000 PSI and Flow rate of 1.8-3.7 GPM. I can check this weekend. All I can say is if you fall within the specs this thing is awesome.
OH MY... remove at least one of the extensions = it makes it a lot easier to move the surface cleaner around . Do a north/south pass and then a east/west pass with the surface washer ... then use a TURBO TIP to wash everything away !
Lol, it wasn't that bad... :-) Thanks for the pointers... This was the first time use... have had great success every time I've used it. I need to get an algaecide down to prevent regrowth but I'm right beside a pond so leery of leaching chemicals to the pond.
2 things: That surface cleaner is too large for the unit you are running. You want 4 inches per gallon per minute. You are running under 4gpm. Should stick to a 12 inch one. Also, don’t use it on a deck. The only reason you didn’t ruin this deck is because the surface cleaner is under pressured because it’s too big. Surface cleaners are meant for concrete, not wood. It will etch the wood with bigger machines.
Thanks for the info, I guess I lucked out... I believe my pressure washer runs 2.6 or 2.8 gpm. I've ran an even bigger one on concrete and it felt like it was too big but this one works really well on both wood and concrete... Honestly I have more issues with etching the wood with the wand than I had with this cleaner, as you said that is likely due to the under sizing of the pressure.
Just ordered it!!! I have lots of power washing to do and this will definitely ease my back ache. Thanks for the demo.
Hope you like it! I have found it to be super useful!
Very impressive! I wish I knew about these devices when I had a wood deck and did power washing with the wand.
Never again with the wand. It is a game changer for sure. 👍

Depending on your machine and gpm is how fast you can move my 10gpm setup I can almost sprint with mine
Ppl say to at least use 10%
Great video, I have curious about the attachments for my pw. Wasn't sure how sturdy the wand was as a "handle". Looks great. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful! It has multiple lengths and the longer the more flimsy but it works really well!
Quick question..I have an 2.5 gpm pressure washer, but the surface cleaner I ordered is 4.5 gpm. Is that a problem? And should I return it?

Does it flip over to wash underside of car?
this one does not, but I have another attachment that does undercarriage washing, it has 4 spray nozzles and they do not rotate like this one.

China, not sure if there is a brand made here, if so I’ve not been approached by the brand that makes them here.
