Congratulations! The math advice hit a little to close to home as well as the getting research early so that they can train you. That was really great advice and is cool to see you come and share your experience. Yeah I am left with one lab class and one or two electives but for whatever reason I decided to push back these classes to add a major. I am curios to see your experience going into the work force. Have a great summer!
Congratulations!! I am forcing myself to love Chemistry again. I am currently at my freshman year but I have zero motivation to continue my Chem degree. Its really mentally deteriorating
Yeah I’ve hit some rough spots along the way (especially when I was in chem classes I wasn’t interested in). Making it through feels awesome though keep at it!
Not to discourage you from chemistry but if you feel this way about the major as a Freshman, perhaps it’s not meant for you. But only you know what’s best for yourself.
That is quite relatable, I am hoping now that I am done with chem classes I will be able to ease my way back into it since I can pick when and what to learn.
I’m planning to take calc 2, physics, bio 2 and ochem next semester. I feel confident getting straight A’s. I’ve always liked a challenge and love science, but maybe I’m jumping the gun. Any advice?
Wow that’s a loaded schedule! I didn’t have a lot of trouble w physics so if you are good at basic math you should be alright in that. Ochem will probably be a big time synch because it’s a combo of memorization and problem solving. It’s all about being really good at time management and never getting behind in class. Especially with the classes you’re taking they are all very cumulative.
This looked very similar to what I done last semester. I would say its very doable for me. I would say just kinda focus a bit more on ochem than other kinda "general science" class

Congrats!! 🥳 Thanks for all the informative videos.
Congrats Zahl! I guess Chemistry makes us Supersaturated huh? Anyway best of luck and thanks for always making it relatable.
Congrats!! Just graduated as well! So glad the pain is done but I’m glad I at least did something meaningful and challenging.

Thank you Zahl. I’m debating if I want to take bio 2 next semester; bio 1 was a nice break from chem.

Any updates?
Congratulations. I wanted to ask what do you think would be good starting freshman schedule and what tips do you have for studying each subject
Some tips to become a successful chemist when you're studying in not much good institute

I bet m.zessin doesn't even go to school for chemistry 😂
