Stock rims/offset and at least what, 17” rims?
Probably some 17’s will fit depending on the design. My 18’s required a small spacer.
What’s your email I can contact you there for further info please!
Is there anything else that you had to do in order to get the calipers to work beyond machining the front of the caliper down and using the 1/2" washers to space the caliper out? How much did you end up machining off the front? Is your brake booster hydroboost or a vacuum boosted?
Great video by the way!
That’s all I did. On the front of the caliper I only machined enough to remove the hump, this is only required with certain wheels. My booster is a standard vacuum booster. Thanks for the compliment 👍🏼
Are those 18" wheels or 17"? Thank you.
Can this be done on the 07-13 ???
I believe it works the same for that body style as well but I haven’t personally tried it.
Thks for the video
No problem, glad it helped.
@@REDRUMRx7 👍
I bought all the parts from the dealer $800.00
Looking for part numbers as well
Can I do this on a 2002 chevy suburban 1500?
Yes you can.
Do you got the part number for does calipers
Search through the comments and you’ll find them. It’s been posted a couple times.
What about the rears?
I still haven't seen powder coated calipers like these. I actually have a 2020 silverado.
Mine were painted but my friend has a set on his truck that are powdercoated in orange.
Those brakes are massive! Great job! I didn't catch whether your 2017 rims are 17" or 18"?
Thanks, my wheels are 18”.
@@REDRUMRx7 at least I have to run 19 or 20 to run those right?
@@hugo3769 they fit with my 18’s using small spacer.
Could we get some part numbers for the brake callipers
If you dig through the comments, another viewer listed all the part numbers.
If you were towing a lot I could see going to that big heavy brake upgrade....if not you are slowing it down !
Anyone know if calipers from a 2121 Escalade would work on a 2005 Suburban?
Yes it would work fine. You’ll also want the 2021 rotors. Follow the instructions on this video.
WILL that setup fit my 2001 Tahoe
Yes sir it will.
do you know if this works for the 2500 as well
I don’t know for sure but I doubt it. The 2500 has 8 lug so the rotor definitely won’t work and the 2500 has different front calipers from the 1500 so idk if these would bolt onto the spindle the same.
@@REDRUMRx7 yeah I was wondering if 2500 brakes from those years could work anyway
@@REDRUMRx7 like 2019 2500 brakes on 2006 2500
@@colinblaylock992 oooh I got you. Man I wouldn’t be able to say, I’ve never tried it. I do own an nbs 2500 now though so maybe one day I’ll give it a shot.
@@REDRUMRx7 good to go, if you have any luck let me know I did the common hydroboost swap from the 2011 and that helped braking a lot
Will this work with 14 inch rotors if I use these calipers?
Which 14” rotors are you trying to use?
@@REDRUMRx7 they are Baer rotors
@@kreaselv4534 it might fit. Worth trying.
@@kreaselv4534 sis it work and have a link?
What size rim necessary?
Hey boss will the 2021-2022 calipers and rotors work aswell?
Yea from 20+ they’re the same.
Awesome thanks just got mine… where’d you get the extra material shaved down?
Let's see it
See what?
Finished work
@@nickonickster1 3:15 in the video.
Ok cool..my bad
Would you have the part number for the brake callipers
Someone posted all the part numbers in the comments.
Dang these look good. have you fitted 17s with them on?
No I haven’t, only these 18’s.
@@REDRUMRx7 aight bet thanks!
@@ZackNakazora1 no problem man. They should be able to clear some 17’s. Will have to do with the offset of the wheel. The 2020 trucks are available with these brakes and 17” steelies so it’s definitely possible.
@@ZackNakazora1most factory GM wheels are 24 offset, which means an 18 offset or lower would probably clear the caliper, even with a 17" wheel.
Is the brake line the same for both sides? I have this set up it works great 👍🏼
Yea the brake line is the same on both sides.
@REDRUMRX7 Brake line is specific for your truck or for caliper
Doing same upgrade on 07 Yukon
Wanna add SS brake line ..
Will this upgrade fit a 05 silverado SS Awd?
Yes sir. I do believe so.
@@REDRUMRx7 nice! Thank you so much. Great video btw!!
@@isaiasbarrios6308 no problem. Glad you liked it. 👍🏼
