@@VooDooV6 I don’t know the part number. I got them at advance auto parts. They’re 1/4” if I remember right.

@@enzos9211 one of the dudes from my job did it for me. Any machine shop with an overhead mill could do it pretty easily though.

@REDRUMRx7 appreciate the reply currently on the stock calipers i have barely any clearance to the wheel. I'm running 26 inch 3 piece wheels my question is do these have the same amount of clearance after the shave as the stock ones?

@@enzos9211 no they don’t. Even with machining them they still take up more space than the stock brakes do.

@@REDRUMRx7 Did you use any of the oem hardware off the OEM hose? Like the 'C' clip on top off the oem line onto the braided line? Or just screw on braided line and use 'C' clip supplied onto control arm bolt hole?

@@ELmotoring I don’t remember tbh. I think I used a tie wrap but I’m not sure. It’s been a long time since I did that install.

@@REDRUMRx7 I got them done the other day, been busy. Definitely made a difference. I had to use 1/8 in spacer for 17s like you suggested (OE wheel 5657MS) to clear. I also shaved the corners slightly on caliper to help 17s fit with spacer. Throwing 20s next week. Thank you for the video and input. Sub’ed.

@@stephenw5063 possibly some 17’s will fit but most won’t.

The original ones work fine. I didn’t use the 2019+ dust shields.

Hey Joe, unfortunately I have no experience with swapping these to the obs platform. If it were me I would first try to install nbs spindles. If the nbs spindles and hubs will work then these brakes will install just like in the video.

It was a very noticeable increase in stopping power going to this from the 99 brakes.

I don’t remember what length I bought.

It will vary depending on your wheels. Some wheels won’t require any modifications at all.

It absolutely will not fit under a 16” wheel and will only fit under very few 17” options.

Yes it would work fine. You’ll also want the 2021 rotors. Follow the instructions on this video.

I don’t believe it will. The only way it might work at all is if you have very large wheel spacers. I had to put small spacers even with my 18” z71 wheels.

I was wondering this same thing but the conclusion is kinda... no. The rear end is a drum rotor combo thats not made to the bigger size rotor because the new trucks use a parking brake in the caliper. However I would assume if you wanted to pay the extra cost to do a rear drum delete, hopefully the rotors clear the rear axle, and with a new splash shield surely the rear should work fine and be done the same as the front with the washers and you shouldn't have an issue. But there's so much that has to be "perfect" or you'll be doing some serious modifications that I don't see being worth it unless you've got like an 800 hp build and need it to stop.... 😂😂

It’s been a while so my memory isn’t exactly clear on this but I’m pretty certain that I used the original caliper bolts.

I just finished installing factory take off 4 piston calipers, rotors, pads, and brake hoses off a 2024 Sierra Denali with 4 miles on the odometer this morning on my Yukon. What an amazing upgrade in braking power that is. So glad I did that swap since I’m on 40s and it takes quite a bit to get that big girl stopped lol

@@Big-kon yea those 4 piston brakes are a real nice upgrade. On my new truck which is a 2014 rcsb silverado I just recently installed the 6 piston brembo setup from an escalade V. The rotors are 16.2”. This truck stops crazy now.

Where did you buy the hose for the spark plugs ?

They’ll clear with some 17’s but not all. I no longer own this truck but the current owner hasn’t had any issues with the brakes afaik.

W/e the default setting is for one of those small dewalt compressors.
