The dog listening to that gramaphone on the record player was the trademark of RCA. They made records, record players, radios, etc. On RCA records, under the picture of the listening dog was the statement "His master's voice"
I thought it was HMV
@@meatavoreNana Nope.
RCA Victor.

It's really sad to see such beautiful architecture and history just go to decay, such things should be saved if not for the historical value but for the amazing architecture. I could only imagine what it would've been like to see what these beautiful homes would've looked like in they're early years.... I love all the beautiful and old homes that you explore and the history that you tell about them. And I love all the heart that you put in to your explorations. ❤️
Be careful in this old house you don't need it to fall in on you.
I love how you visualize the family in the home. It must have been glorious living there. 💜
@@ESGinel.......
Yes they do.
Wow Dave, loved listening to you explain about the people who lived there. That must of been a beautiful mansion back in the day,if walls could talk.My when you went through the hole to get in the safe,I could not breath, then I wondered how you both were going to get out, thank goodness the safe door opened.Dave this was a fantastic video,I really enjoyed it thank you.Stay safe all of you.❤️❤️❤️
What would they have done if it had shut and not opened. Kind of stupid in my opinion.
Love me some Abandoned World Explorer! Happy day!
That old brick wood fired stove in the kitchen!!! Just amazing. Neat to imagine what it once looked like.
In really bad disrepair and such beautiful architecture.
Shame they are left to fall down.
Gorgeous arched windows.
The radio/record player is a RCA Victor. The dog Nipper is a Mongrel part terrier. Born 1884 Bristol England. Died Sept. 1895 England. He served as the model for an 1898 painting by Francis Barraud titled His Master's voice painting depicting an Edison cylinder phonograph. Some RCA Victor Victrolas came with a ceramic 3 inch Nipper.
Loved this explore Dave, and that was so kind of you to make sure that stuffed lamb was comfortable on the bed frame. I bet in the glory of the day this place was beautiful. Too bad you didn't find anything in the safe or find the carriages in the barn. Thank you again for taking us along and take care.
That place is an amazing historical find.
Yes, another video! ❤ thank u Dave
Godbless and take care. Much love frm Philippines ❤
Such amazing history beautiful place
If Napoleon truly did stay there, the chateau should be kept and restored as it’s a part of history. I can’t understand how these beautiful old building are left to rot.
Didn’t Dave just say their was a paper saying he lived their that’s the history their in the paper
Agreed. Anywhere. And then we've homeless problems... humans are both bright and insanely stupid (selfish) at the same time.
Holy hell the grammar
@@Nima821 Not his fault english is so confusing. ;)
True, sad to see, this happening the memorable mansion😢😢😢
This is one of your top explores. Loved every minute. You have such knowledge and appreciation for these abandoned structures. I felt like I was in a classroom ...lol. And the safe! Wow! what a find. Thanks so much Dave!
thanks for the pictures. The upper body of the building is nearly unrecognisable but down below is great an liveable and very strong
Great video Dave . I love to hear your back story. Stay safe young man!
A Pigeon Keep! And yes we're making their own wine! That large round ball looking container, I believe is/was used for testing something with the wine..
There is some history here for sure. WOW talk about high ceilings and lots of room this place has it. Can't believe it has been abandoned for so long and all that is left is the decaying shell. Another hundred years and all that will be left are the stone walls. Curious though where are all the grape vines that they were harvesting? Great explore Dave have a great day and stay safe.
I could still live there that is so unbelievably remarkable it's amazing
You are the best, David, i watch a lot of these videos and no one compares to you.
Record player , dog and victrola brand is RCA . BEAUTIFUL !❤
One of the best explores in France .
Absolutely beautiful!! ❤️🔥 so sad not being restored or made as historical place 🥲
Wow! What amazing explore you guys had! Thx. for sharing!
So enjoying this thank you Dave.
I love that door that's so wicked this place is so cool
You really do feel like you are stepping into history when you do these very old places.
👍😊Thanks!!!
Wonderful adventure, thank you so much, I love ur videos. Love you from Texas
The history is way better than finding the treasure. Because gold and silver will pass away, but what you uncovered was truly awesome! Thank you so much for the wonderful adventure.
Great explore, the building must have been magnificent in its time, filled with beautiful furniture.
You said it should of been saved , all the man or lady's hours n detail in that place wow , ur right it should of been saved , it must of been spectacular, any pictures of what the place looked like inside in its day, love to see them
The thing you were asking about looks like the front panel to nesting boxes for homing pigeons
thats a fantastic history lesson I love when you do a video like this that's been a beautiful house in its day shame its been left to be the way it is today you be careful guy's xx
More Power,." GOD Bless You and Good Luck... ♥🙏😇 watching from Philippines...
Thanks for another great explore loved it very creepy though 😳 take care my friend much love 💘❤ 💘
Can you imagine if we let people in our history’s homes rot in this way. Words fail me. Another great find Dave 💙
Absolutely loved the cellar. Great explore!!
What a shame yet another beautiful building just left to rot so sad. Another gem Dave thank you for sharing please stay safe xx
I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the old timbers down in the bottom section of the house. And all the old tools...it IS so cool! You're right, I'd be saying the same thing over and over too! And the age and size of that fireplace at 26:56 is freakin awesome
It is sad that this chateau was not preserved. I hate when historical buildings are neglected and eventually fall down. I love your channel. Thank you😘🙏🏼🙏🏼
Been watching you for a couple of years now and don't think I have ever commented. But had to this time. Excellent video, very well done and a very good history lesson. Thank you Dave , you are a kind and gentle soul.
this was a great video! excitement at every turn!
This place should be a museum!! And those old skeleton keys were beautiful!! Amazing video!! Thank you for what you do!!💜
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ That was quite the adventure. The vault was hilarious! Watching you guys crawl in and worried you would fall or have a hard time getting out - then you open the door. I was laughing so hard. These guys aren’t mark, but they are consistently the best bunch you gone out on adventures with. As always - thank you for sharing & stay safe.
Probably one of the coolest places you've shared to date! Amazing find and so interesting. And love the narrative you always tell with these explores.
What an "INCREDIBLE" and "EXCITING" video Dave , this has to be my favorite by far. You take the time to explain the history so we can try to visualize it in our minds. Getting in the safe experience was the best and funniest !! I was literally holding my breath for you and your friend 😄👍Great VID and history ...
Hello Dave, That large wooden item in the cellar with all the holes is actually a wine bottle rack. Thank you so much touring this less than safe but beautiful mansion/castle. Stay safe. Wanda
This was very, very interesting. Was just shocked/surprised at what you guys went thru to get into the safe & wow, to get
out able to use the door. Surprise, surprise.. Great video..
It's so sad to see these beautiful places fall into disrepair it makes me want to run in and rescue all that remains from furniture to fireplaces to architecture I know you feel the same as you have said in many of your fantastic videos
9:50. When you opened the stereo, Nipper the RCA dog is on the top. He lives in Albany, New York on top of a very tall building.RCA used him for all their stuff.
Awesome 👍🏾 but, creepy
Good Saturday dude
The oven is beautiful
well done guys being brave enough to jump down so far into that vault area, im proud of you. i was excited just watching you open those wooden boxes, even though they were empty, it just didnt matter. it was the excitement to know that way back in the day... precious papers and who knows what.. was in there. sadly, the actual mansion is just like a pile of rubble now, nothing much left thats not rotted and smashed up, but this would have been an amazing building back in its days of glory. loved this video. thanks guys
Love that wine cellar. Here in the U.S. those logs would be worth a fortune. That basement is beautiful too.The structure of the castle looks sound enough to save.Im surprised no one has taken bolt cutters to the locks. The wines could also be worth thousands of dollars Amazing find 👍❤️🇺🇸
Excellent Folks. That was a Trip. Very Cool.
Beautiful !! Thanks for sharing !! Keep it going & be safe !! Your south central Kansas friend !
We love you dave and we miss mark 😊👍
I miss mark too and all the live streams seeing them together and having fun while doing the live stream as well letting us know what's up with everyone one as well ............................
Dave?? Who the hell is Dave I don't get it. ❤️🦘🇦🇺
Not sure if anyone already had commented on what the large wall fixture with all the small openings is, in the room that contains the winery vats or not. I believe it's a Dovecote Box. The birds would nest in the spaces. I could be wrong, lmk. Loved this episode. Breaks my heart that it's decaying.
This is great!!! Not sure how much history the USA has like this, they are so enthusiastic! Also as respectful as you ❤
It would be awesomme to visit there. What a history. I bet it was beautiful back in its day. Shame the vault has been robbed. Great explore. Stay safe all. Much love from Australia.
Omggg 😍😍 i love the room at 31:24! ❤️❤️❤️ the ceiling the windows the stairs the lil chandelier the fireplace the natural lighting oh my gosh ❤️
This has got to be one of the best so far you actually getting into the old vault I literally held my breath thinking you were going to fall in
I love the French chateaus, they have such an eye for graceful proportions and details. Even in this state it is apparent. I was delighted with the safe adventure. From the looks of the excelsior there were breakable items in the chests. Wish you had left the door open though, lol.
Man that place must b awesome to be in knowing it date back to late 1400s is priceless, even those old keys are just as amazing, 👀
Hiyas Dave, great video, thank you, its sad to see all of these abandoned houses just sit and rot away, you would think with all the homeless we have in the uk and around the world the houses would be turned into flats or something before they start to rot, hope you are well, much love, take care, stay safe xx UK 🇬🇧
And those documents u guys found are highly valuable to the right person ,hope u guys put it in a dry dark place ,n nothin eats it away ,,
Wow just wow this is exploring at its best.
As dilapidated as it may be, you can see the grandiose nature of this incredible mansion. Shame about the lost history, books and magical things from an era long gone...
Thankyou again for sharing 🙌✌
As a tall-ceiling fan, my mind is blown away with the details and beauty of this place, I love it even though it’s just kind of falling down. Very saddened to see.
Really enjoyed this one Dave ,so much history, you always hear the beautiful birds singing ,love how much you find out about places thanks Dave stay safe lv Ann ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
What an amazing place full of history, I loved this explore. So funny with yuz climbing into that safe lol another great explore Dave, thank u☘️
Great video but creepy 😍.
Yes, travelled to heaven and above. The French knew opulence, luxury and style. All were apparent in your amazing video from the very old to the recently new! All going to waste, falling apart and are lost. Interesting story to this chateau as all your videos are.
Wow Dave , I totally love your adventures. Amazing RUclips content.
What a great find, your explanation about the house was really interesting.take care Dave.xx
This was absolutely amazing. Thank you
I was almost positive that you would film some activity of the spirit type there.
I love your voice and the way you narrate about the family and the place you have a awesome visualization of what you are describing you're so handsome
You should do some exploring in Medford,Oregon we have several ghost towns and abandoned homes ect.ect.
That would be so cool
WoW this must have been stunningly beautiful...gorgeous architecture. Shame no one restored given its history.Always a delight to watch your videos..stay safe love to you Mark & families ❤️
Hi Dave thank you so much for the amazing video you awesome person. I love how you show everything and explain in detail.
The thickness of the walls at 29:31 is so cool
This was truly exciting!! Loved you breaking into a vault, sorry you didn’t find a treasure😢. I sat on pins and needles when you jumped, hoping we weren’t going to see the next scene as paramedics pulled you out! Good job trying the vault door. Loved it ❤️
This place is really cool! I love when y’all gotten the safe that was neat, but I sure am glad that door pushed open because that would’ve been a pain in the butt to try and get out of! Good thing y’all are small enough to fit! Nice explore take care and blessings
Fantastic location ! Thanks Dave! x
Thank you Dave, for another amazing explore.
Amazing video Dave! I was getting worried when you jumped down in to the safe room 😱glad you got out ok 😊stay safe 👋🏻🇬🇧x
This was my favorite video!!
Love Watching
Hi Adam how are you well I hope you do some lovely homes so lovely some of them sad there empty have you ever found a grave of the family or head stones in the gardens
Love you loads too!! Always look forward to what you uncover for us to enjoy.
Napoleon or not, the house by itself is history. I Live in Oklahoma and historic houses/buildings, are now parking lots for new buildings where in 50yrs will fall apart. But not to worry, there's a sign all about the history they destroyed. Maybe if historic houses/buildings was not destroyed kid's could see history in person, and not on a phone or computer. Loved the history on this video, and how time was taken in each room. Old places don't mean worthless, but a new understanding of the past.
Oh my gosh that place is insane!
Did my DNA Ancestry said I was a descendent of Napoleon lol
What a beautiful place. The basement was so cool and safe, just WOW!
There was enough timber stocked to make a log cabin. And the thing with holes at T.S. 26:45 was the front of a Pigeon house.
Awesome video thanks for sharing 🤘😊👍
I heard from and old man years ago. Since they didn’t have varnish back then, they used ox blood to cover the furnishings. Especially the beds, to give them the darker look.
Brilliant episode .
Sup from Kentucky
Buying it might be easy enough but can you imagine the actual cost of the rebuild and restore?! I kind of like it the way it is - most everything on earth eventually decays and goes back to its birthplace...I can live with that. great post - thanks :)
Wow 😮 Dave vilket ställe helt fantastiskt Palats 🏰
Mycket spännande video 📼🕷🕸🇸🇪
Hi guys it's a big shame it has been left the way it is someone needs to bring g it back to life
Thanks for showing it
