This was a really welcome episode Jordan, The Dukes of Hazzard was a Saturday night treat over here in the UK. Seeing the kid's bedroom, I couldn't help thinking how much more fun it was buying Christmas gifts for children back then - now everything seems to be linked to technology. Great museum tour Jordan - many thanks.
I grew up watching Dukes of Hazzard and as an adult I worked with John Snider on a tv show called Heaven Help Us in San Antonio. It's hard to believe how long ago that's been. Great video Jordan. Thanks
Awesome video. For a lot of us who were kids around 1980 and were watching the show brand new. It's a part of our history and "DNA" we had the toys. We were "Bo and Luke" on the playground. It wasn't just some TV show.
I enjoyed that! You took me back, when my brothers and I, used to watch the show. Also reminds me when we visited Cooters in Pigeon Forge. That was awesome. Thank you Jordan! As for Catherine Bach, as Daisy: Absolute sweetheart!
Same here I met him 20 years or so ago and he was a really nice guy and I also met John schneider at the back to the 50's car show at the Minnesota state fairgrounds about 10 years ago he was really nice as well.
As a kid I went to see the general Lee car at cobo hall detroit michigan in 78 or 79 this days you can google what year in the 70s was the general Lee at cobo hall in detroit I could be a little off on the year
You need to come to the Cooters here in Virginia. There is a little cafe in the one here and every Saturday evening they have bands playing country or bluegrass, admission is free. He is always having the old stars out for visits.
Wow, that brought back so many memories! My son was born in '77 & we loved Dukes, his room was all Dukes. I've been to Cooters in Gatlinburg. Thanks Jordan!❤
My ex loved loved loved the Dukes! I can’t wait to send him this video! Thanks Jordan! I save it to watch myself when I’m snuggled up for the night!! Still catching up on all your previous vids & am loving them! Kisses to JAH‼️🧡
Thanks for the wonderful video myself and my husband went there and the one in Gatlinburg but haven't been to the one in Virginia. Ben and Alma are such lovely people, this brought back some great memories again Thank you so much for this video I really enjoyed it.
awesome vlogging Cooter’s, luv Dukes of Hazard, never missed an episode Friday nights, we watch Dukes followed by Dallas and late night Friday NBC movie
One thing I kept looking for I didn't see in the collection were these plastic car shaped Happy Meal containers. I remember having a couple when I was a kid. I remember the Charger, the Jeep and the police car.
Went there in June 2013 for Dukes of Hazzard Fan Fair, met John Schneider, Tom Wopat, Rick Hurst, and Ben Jones.. Lines for James Best, Catherine Bach, and Sonny Shroyer were very long.. I was 3 years old when the Show Started
When you're in the area, check out the Cooters in Luray, VA. You have a decent chance of catching Mr Jones there as it is closer to his home, and its a much bigger facility. It's where he holds most events the past few years
Was there anything without their pictures on it? Lol. Just kidding. Loved the show. Thanks for showing us around the museum. They even have things on sale. You take care.
Just down from there next to the street are some awesome concrete pads with signatures and hand prints like a country stars of fame. It’s not easy to notice it’s under some trees right on the street. It’s just past the Nashville palace on that same side of the street.
I love John Schnieder he has a awsome RUclips channel love following him he remarried Paul Savino widow he travels everywhere in his RV and sells alot of dukes stuff!

I didn’t see any Christmas albums or Christmas decorations! I would think they would have had that too
Thanks again for sharing Jordan and Jah ❤
I had that pedal car you see at 5:18. It had a battery powered Dixie horn located on the dash. I got it for Christmas maybe 1982 or 83.

Not sure if you are still in the area, but you should go to Lynchburg and do one on the Jack Daniel’s distillery
Jimmy Best was a true southern boy
If you like this you should check out the Abbeville institute and their interview with Cooter.
