Another thing to do in the quarantine... learn how to shuffle Edit: yes I am learning to shuffle, every day I’m getting better at it, so if you want to learn just do it, you will never regret it, since I started I being feeling soooo good and confident with myself, I love to shuffle even if I don’t have anyone to dance with, thanks to emylee I started to learn, thank you so much, you have made me discovered this ❤️❤️
Thanks a lot girl, I am a doctor , an eye specialist, and few things I wanted to learn during my lockdown was to shuffle. Your videos were super helpful, me and my wife who also is an ophthalmologist learn from you everyday. You are our guru. God bless you!!
You are our shuffle mom and we are babies following your footsteps (literally) lol. I love your energy, your beauty shines from the inside out 💓🙏🏻 and the way you teach is so clear and concise, THANK U! Queen
I ve been practising running man for 2.5 weeks now and there was just something that is not right . Your video answers my question . Can’t thank you enough . Please keep up uploading videos, love from Australia .
I would love to see an informative video like this about how to dance casually....like how to dance in a club! I just can't really dance...period. And you're the best person I've found for explaining and showing moves effectively!
just be free -> don't think of any techniques or steps or whatnot just listen to the music and have fun. I kind of get the most of these shuffle/cutting shapes tutorials and can do them to an okayish level but in the club I absolutely don't give a fuck about that and dance just fine without it. If you're a beginner or very stiff I'd recommend looking at other people and copying them. I was a maths and gamer guy so I was absolutely wooden/ice cold when it came to going out and in the beginning just copied other people to get it rolling. If you can't relax a glass or two can help just don't overdo it hahahaha I've noticed that after practising these steps a lot back home, sometimes when dancing I can very easily and naturally incorporate and add them - this may not be the best and perfect at first but when having fun it's very easy to experiment and iron it out
I've noticed that when I'm in the club and just feeling the beat, having fun that I get far more people dancing with me, and complimenting me despite still being very beginner.
Yes, extremely helpful! I need help transitioning from one move to another and yep, I’m the hoppy, bouncy one. I feel like I give it too much effort instead of more refine movements. All these videos are helpful, so all you are willing to share would be great!
Please do these weekly they are sooooo helpful!! Imma noobie and its hard tagging on the back of shufflers with a year or few experience because they dont break moves down enough because its become natural to them but for total beginners even basic moves are like wait what?!! Please do more videos they are helping me so much on my journey and I love your energy and vibe its so fun / funny / authentic!
Giiiiirl thank you so much for making these videos! I practice every morning while listening to music and having my coffee. This was super helpful, I’m at the point where I’m feeling like Im hopping. I’m definitely gonna try that last tip. You’re literally the fucking BEST
Thank you for another amazing tutorial/tips video. You are a gifted teacher as well as dancer. Keep up the good work, you've helped countless numbers of people not only learn to dance, but enabled them to come out of their shells by giving them a tool to express themselves. Stay cool, stay lovely, know that you're always loved by someone, and remember to "just dance, dance, dance." ~ JT
Thanks, the last part about the running man was really insightful. I don’t record myself but thinking back I’m pretty sure I’m doing exactly what you said not to, so thanks for bringing awareness to this.
I think I know what you’re saying for tip three. Versus trying to think of your next move slow down and FEEL THE MUSIC. Breathe into the music and let it take you to your next step. That is flow. These are great tips thank you so much! Needed a good refresher to get me inspired to shuffle again
Thanks for sharing yourself with us, I felt the love about having fun. Here is a thought; if you are supposed to make it look like you are running with your legs why not just complete the movement with your arms, like you are running 🏃♂️ 😅🤔🤷🏻♀️
Thanks for the video! I've started practicing lately and I love your tutorials, I feel they're straight to the point and really helpful in explaining what's going on. For now I'm focusing on my running man and t-steps/side steps, but I hope I can start mixing things up soon
Thank you for your tips. To me, the most important thing in your video is to understand that dancing is expressing yourself. Many people use their arms when speaking to add somme "support" to their story, to express emotions... But when they dance, they are completely blocked. To me it's due to the fact that they don't know what to express "over" the music (especially with electro without any vocals). We are living in societies where it's not well seen to express intimate feelings unless it is to complain (especially for boys/men). That was my feeling after watching your very interesting video. Have a nice day :-)
Bro thank you! My shuffling kept looking so bouncy and for some reason I missed the “landing the feet at the same time”, it looks so much better now, thank yoouuuuuu!!!!
Best advice ever tip #4 4:40 HAVE FUN! "If you're having fun and you look like you're having fun you might look better 99% of the people out there..." Love your attitude, you get it! Thanks for sharing. Do you pop/boogaloo house dance or dance to funk or house etc? Reggae skank? Cheers, hot steppa
I’ve probably put a total of 2 hours Into learning to shuffle and this video was soo helpful ❤️ I’ve always need the one to avoid dancing AT ALL COSTS. But fuckit time to cut loose 🤘
Very cool video, because it's very unique. And.. I loved the enthusiasm you put into the video. If we all were like you, this world would never ever ever ever and I say NEVER look boring even for a single second xD Keep it go on. Your videos can potentially make some people's day, without forgeting how helpful can it be for the viewers who are passionate about shuffle. I have to say at least a thank you, for it. Not because I ve appreciated it, but because, basically all the people will.
Arm moovement is absolutly crucial in shuffle...but most of the dancers focus on the legs. If you dont utilise your arms you are just a regular dancer, but if you use them well you will be a stylish classy dancer. Thats the way it is?
I think my shuffling is doing pretty good lately, BUT im having little bit trouble of traveling , do you have a tort about traveling? and gliding? to move around, i keep getting stuck in one spot
I wanted to learn a dance and my friend recommended shuffling. I must admit I had a preconception that women did it mostly...they're everywhere in vids after all. But after watching yours and giving it a go I'm into it. I enjoy it, I'll add it to my workout and learn how to boss the dancefloor at the same time. Fuck it! I'll learn it from you.
Emylee is by far the best instructor, she explains it in a way that anyone can understand it. If you want to add a little more flair and unconventional moves, go to Sven Otten's RUclips channel : "Sven Otten - JustSomeMotion" (He's the blue suit guy you see in all the videos). He learned to dance watching RUclips tutorial videos as well, then he added in a few ideas of his own and created a unique style. He also has tutorials, but I really like Emylee's the best, and I've seen tons of useless tutorials.

Your rant about having fun seriously made me shuffle better all on its own 🖤🧡🖤🧡🖤🧡
I've noticed that when I'm in the club and just feeling the beat, having fun that I get far more people dancing with me, and complimenting me despite still being very beginner.
I love dancing with random people when they look like they are having a good time!
