Please make a contract for your unpaid work!! It’s so so helpful, I do it all the time for filmmaking and short film work. It’s that extra security plus a pretty good way of showing how much you value your own time and labour to other ppl :P

ahh thank you so much!! I dabbled a bit during the pandemic but it wasn't for me really! Definitely was putting more time and energy than I was getting out and am more excited about other things but I definitely find this incredibly fun and have considered doing more wardrobe styling with clients one on one in the future and would surround that around second hand & vintage for sure!! Possibly even working with brides and helping them source pieces - we shall see!! thank you SO much ❤❤❤❤
As a freelancer (makeup artist) it is so disheartening to keep doing good work that is fun and makes good content and then continue to not get paid for any of the jobs… like I can only take so many because I literally have to work at a restaurant to pay my bills. It’s hard to find the balance between doing creative projects and just making money to live in an expensive city 😫 I feel you girl
