After owning a while, it’s pretty obvious that this is more of a novelty item - still a lot of fun, and perfect for mowing down a gang of desperado lollipops!
Right, so the A4-P is basically a scaled down Crosman SBR. The best part is that the A4-P is scaled down enough to fit in a standard backpack. This makes it great for outdoor adventure.
There is such an item for Umarex air guns. Unfortunately, they do not make an adapter for the A4-P: www.pyramydair.com/product/air-venturi-steel-storm-co2-bulk-fill-adapter?a=3442
Cool review, bought my Crosman A4-P several months ago from Amazon, and since then, I've added a T-Grip Vertical Grip with Flashlight Holder and a aftermarket Car Stock for a paintball milsim gun.
I'm 62 years and still have my first Daisy Red Ryder at 16 how I got an upgrade on the daisy Winchester pump a magic 1800 ft per second it takes down larger game and good for self-defense we did a test on ballistic skull with 3/8 piece of drywall in front of it to represent skin the Gamo hollow point pellet went pretty deep so it will take a human down in self-defense.
Just got one - from watching this review, I didn’t have to read the manual, this is my first co2, and I was plinking away in about 15 min. Mini review with a tip someone gave me . . . The casing has some rough edges from the plastic molding process, so I used a curve side / flat side jeweler’s file to remove the uncomfortably jagged spots. I was given the tip of using dialectic silicone grease instead of pelli-oil - they claim it is much more tolerant of extreme low temps found at the combustion site, gives a better seal, and is better for the rubberized parts.
So you caN use Plastic and steel right? I wonder if the GLOCK 19 GEN BB GUN SHOOTS PLASTIC BBs as well , The guy at Big 5 said no the Glock can't shoot plastic BBs But I'm pretty sure it does
I installed a standard AR stock from IMI DEFENSE. The A4-P has a standard Mill Spec buffer tube under the plastic cover. Just remove the holding pin on the buffer tube, pull the plastic cover off to reveal the standard buffer tube, you can leave it as is aluminum color or paint it black, then just install a stock. Very easy.

Sorry, I don't do giveaways. Every air gun I review is purchased using my money. I often have to sell them so that I can purchase new air guns for review.
I don't own the AK1 anymore. I had to sell some of my air guns so that I could afford new ones, for review. Based on my pics, it does not look like the AK1 and A4-P magazines are interchangeable.
Crosman did not make it easy to remove the stock. They used a steel pin to hold it in place. The stock may be an integral part of this air pistol. It's hard to tell as Crosman does not publish an exploded view of this air pistol to the public.
The Crosman SBR Magazine MAY fit the A4-P, see my referral link: amzn.to/3sEzxvl Examine the Amazon pictures before ordering to see if they are the same.

Does the BB gun use one or both c02 while firing ?
Both, some air guns allow you to only install one of two CO2 cartridges. This is not the case with the A4-P.
Best product presentation I've seen
Thanks!
Dry fire much?
Where did you get this crosman ap4 fully automatic co2 bb gun from
I purchased mine from Amazon: amzn.to/3VRQfam
Ty so much it was so hard to find a review
Your welcome!
will this be able to shoot a pellet? just a single one manually put in
I don't recommend shooting pellets from the A4-P, most likely it will jam.
Your instructions are on point 👍
Thanks!
So you caN use Plastic and steel right? I wonder if the GLOCK 19 GEN BB GUN SHOOTS PLASTIC BBs as well , The guy at Big 5 said no the Glock can't shoot plastic BBs But I'm pretty sure it does
The Crosman A4-P is designed to shoot .177 Caliber Steel BBs only. You run the risk of this air pistol jamming, if you attempt to shoot plastic shot.
Nice review, can it work normally with 6mm plastic bbs?
Only .177 Caliber (4.5mm) Steel BBs are recommend/specified by Crosman.
Good stuff. Helpful instructions. Thank you
Thanks for watching!
Great video Sir, can you recommend a butt stock for this BB gun?
I did research recently, and did not find that Crosman or a third party made a butt stock for the A4-P.
@@rustbeltairgun8718 I got the sight battery door open with a knife 🔪, Wow, this gun is POWERFUL! AMAZING!
Would you consider single shots fairly accurate?
About as accurate as a smooth bore air pistol.
Is there’s a speed loader ?
There are many aftermarket Speed Loaders on Amazon. Some A4-Ps come with a Speed Loader, mine did not.
Is it only full auto or semi?
The A4-P is capable of full auto mode.

Can the fake stock (or buffer tube) be replaced with something or can I leave it off using it as a pistol?

There are no batteries or battery compartment. The bolt is powered by the same 12 Gram CO2 Cartridge used to propel the BB down the barrel.

The manual does not specify (rear tube removal) and I did not see any fasteners that would accommodate removal.
