- Today in Black Myth Wukong we do way more than I initially intended, and end up completing Chapter 3. Which means we had to do battle with our good buddy Yellowbrow and uh... let's just say he's not the most fun boss I've ever fought.

You missed two important bosses during chapter 3. One of them was using the fox transformation. To get to this fight you need to stay at the left side of the Thunderclap Temple and go up the stairs of a building. You will find an NPC and the only way to activate the fight is going into the house with the transformation. The second main boss that you missed had to do with the NPC that you found at the beginning of the chapter that needed help. You need to go back to the area where the non-able was and find this NPC again, use the Ring of Fire spell and follow the rest of the quest. (It has to do with the area that you found under the cliff with the buddha statue)
What does the fox guy give you? I completely forgot about him and it looks like the room is closed now bc I finished the chapter
@@TyBayagaAgain A spirit that give you a perfect dodge ability (well, more similar to the see-through of thrust stance where you go invi and jump back a bit) and a curio that extend the duration of your transformation.

Upgrading armor makes it comparable to late game around so you don’t have to change if you don’t want to

You should use the wandering wite more. Good opener on hard bosses is freeze+full combo+headbut+summon boys while boss is staggered

I think you're supposed to hate that boss, they deliberately made him hateable because he is always a fraud figure that talks big and do nasty things in the novel. Fun fact, in the game they even modeled the guy out of a real life kung-fu fraud guy in China (not officially of course) 😂
There is a quest with that guy with a cone hat you will find him near a shrine talking about ring of fire spell you do that and a cutscene come after that go to the shrine with the statue and there will be a boss fight it will givr you a hardcore spell for brute force build.
Also for fox quest go up and left of the temple there will be a non boss to you will have another cutscene and there are 2 or 3 boss one is right from the temple entrance
you should go back to do the questline involving the “treasure hunter” you helped earlier in the chapter. It gives you a bit of lore (how Wukong subdued yellowbrow in journey to the west) and a build-defining spell (i used it to finish my 1st playthrough, for me it’s the best spell for the 1st playthrough until you are decently high level)
Also, non-able is one of the best spirits, you use it mid light attack combo for flashy attack strings
Smash stance stagger 3 will hit him through and he will be normal state in no time(I get this info from the tiger vanguard in chapter 2). It’s my experience in first time pass and it work and maitreya is bhodhisattava not sage though. Did this boss that hard?
In the area where you find the fox if you take one path (i think somewhere to the left) you get a boss against one of those monsters that come out from underground when you pick up a flower
you can upgrade lower tier armors into ones that can be as good as mythics, just depends on what effect you like tbh..
so if u have a rare armorset, you can upgrade to the purple one, then yellow then to mythic
its very cheap to upgrade lower tier armors until you get to the last upgrade to mythic i think..
Yellowbrow worst boss in game 2 undodgable attacks that take 70% health
I know this is late. But the sad part is that the armor is bugged, so the effect is not even working how it should. Also, you're really bad about not using varied combos, but then again, it's why most players stop using Pierstances for one-on-one battles. Both smash and thrust offer much more DPS and the spear is one of the best weapons in the game.
There's something about this channel that has me coming back regularly. It might be that comforting voice.
Actually if you know that you can cancel yellow brow's Rock Solid by 3 focus or 4 focus attacks at once and you can step dodge his cutscene attack pretty neatly, then the fight becomes too easy😂
I love your videos! After a while though, because you edit&cut your voice so fast together between sentences, I find it kinda disorientating, not normal to follow if you know what I mean. Just a thought...

u could change to smash stance and "run charge ur heavy" to break his golden(need 4 charge or 3+1 to break it i believe)
Try using the boys before the immobilize spell im pretty sure you'll be able to actually hit the enemy with ur boys after
U should start looking for a spell. Called united mind or something like that it basically forces ur shadow clones to use the same moves as u and do an unfair amount of damage people are 1 shotting the hardest bosses with it by going up on the stick with like 10 shadow clones doing the same it’s hilarious to watch and busted

Pillar stance is the weakest among the 4 😂
I got this boss on my first try BTW.
The crow deviner is really fun imo, you can do a really powerful infinite qi build with it and a high crit rate.
You can sense the amount of times he gets cooked by the Nah I'd Win thumbnail.

With the fox you need to go to the left hand side of New Thunderclap Temple after the stairs with the 4 thunder throwing dudes on them, the ones who didn't see you turn into the fox
Theres a curio that increases your crit based on how much frost bite you have built up on yourself
The secret area of chapter 3 is the Great Pagoda. It’s located in the pagoda realm.

That area you went to is a Boss arena but you need to do a side quest for it...there is a treasure hunter in ch3
I know after the fact, right before the cutscene where you take damage afterwards, you can enter cloud step to avoid both cutscenes.
There is a really good spell called spellbinder that you missed
To walk the path of Buddha, go within, not wihtout
that guy took me the most attempts, definitely an annoying one
Ch3 secret area is unlocked after reaching Ch6 and unlocking all the other secret areas...you have to go to Great Pagoda after reaching Ch6...you can get secret ending from it BTW

You are not using the tiger transformation properly. Try to use your it only when you have 4 focus point, use its ability straight away and shred absolute everything in your way!
Plus non-able is actually one of the best spirits out there ;D

I used the Bronze Brocade Battlerobe the one Your using for the hole game untill i got wokung armor and stuff also i updgraded the Bronze Brocade Battlerobe to legendery tho

lol, that's funny, seeing how people struggle and complain against this boss. He is considered one of the easiest if not the easiest to beat of all the final chapter bosses. He's very slow and predictable, and his spells are very easy to counter. I remember beating him with a few tries and even intentionally letting him kill me to reset the fight, just to see how he reacted and counter different spells.
