    We were there for a family vacation. We left one day before the fires. We are praying for the people of Ruidoso.

    It's horrible. I have a friend who lost everything in the fire now she has to deal with flooding. I put up hundreds of sand bags but it was pointless.

      Yeah it's nutts. I moved to the downs from Houston 3 years ago and was shocked where people built structures so close to the river. I would not pitch a tent for one night where alot of people built houses. I still feel for them though. The sandbags are pointless, even the K rails they put all around foxworth are a joke. I have seen tiny little floods in Houston toss those things like match sticks. It's going to get worse before it gets better. I just hope we don't have a really bad rainstorm this monsoon. The storms we have had so far are like a 6 out of 10. We get an 8 or 9 this year and half the city will flood. 😢 Nothing to do now but pray.

    3 million dollars? For the whole city 😂😂😂😂😢 thats like 3 business. I guess everyone else can just die. What that like half of 1 Javlin missile for Ukraine 😅🎉. The Government looks awful suss in this whole fire disaster. Its almost like they want the people out??? 🤔

      They do. That's the plan. One city, one town at a time.

    I would like to understand how they figured that *lightning* caused the South Fork fire?? I also would like to know if the entire Mescalero tribe will be held responsible, if it's determined that it was a Mescalero Wild land firefighter who started the Salt Fire?? So awful that they have given all wildland firefighters a bad rep 🤬🤬💔

      Why would they hold the entire Mescalero tribe responsible for the destruction that two people caused? Why blame the whole tribe that’s extreme! Also the south fork fire was determined to be a lighting strike fire and that’s the fire that caused the majority of the damage…

    • @coeneschamaun1735

      @@evalenasbabys because it's pretty unlikely that those two people have enough money to pay for the damages that they caused. Yes, the South Fork did much more horrible damage. That's why I'm wondering why the FBI and other authorities think that it's ok to just give a blanket storyline "oh, it was lightning".... Don't they think people would like to know more details, such as detailed weather analysis, and geographic information for the lightning strikes? I do.

    • @evalenasbabys
      @evalenasbabys Месяц назад

      @@coeneschamaun1735 they already did a lightning strike analysis and found that in the area where fire started there was six lightning strikes in a close proximity to the fire 🤷🏻‍♀️

      @@evalenasbabys I wasn't aware that lightning analysis results had been released. Do you know where I could check it out and learn more? Thanks

      It didn't, they know who but need more evidence the couple started 16 fires on the reservation before that one they even had the nerve to report some of the fires they know who because of tire marks and foot prints is how they udentified the couple
