Mr. Attenborough's voice is so calming and soothing it really makes you listen to what is happening. Makes you want to help heal the problems we humans have created.
We cannot heal what we have done. We can only STOP doing all the harmful things we do, and wait for the planet and ecosystems to restabilize and rebuild. Bout all we can really do is some drastic stuff like orbital mirrors or something to help drop global temps. Or somehow processing massive amounts or CO2 and storing it somewhere in a stabile form to reduce greenhouse gas levels. We can't really do all that much. Nature has to repair. We just need to stop adding to the load so it can
@@dontworryaboutit5989 There are a few things that can be done other than just stopping the harmful ones. The problem is, they are expensive and there is no clear monetary return. Methods of sequestering carbon from the atmosphere are being done but is that going to be enough? Probably not.

David Attenborough was the reason i got interested in animals and nature, making me motivated to become a vet. I love watching his documentaries, as they inspire me to make a change. Seeing the ice glaciers fall, the polar bears, it really makes me cry. I hope everyone who watches this and hears his speeches on saving the planet will really try their best to inspire others to help save our planet. Even though your efforts are little, if everyone puts in bit by bit, surely we can make great changes for our future. (This is very dramatic, my apologies-)
We ARE all connected. Not just human to human or mammal to mammal but to every living organism in the galaxy. The sooner we protect all living organisms, the more chance we have of saving ourselves. I just hope it's not too late. I can't stand seeing those poor creatures suffer. It's people like the one's who gave this a thumbs down that are destroying every beautiful, living thing! The Earth is our Holy ground. And we should treat it as such. Every one person can make a difference just by being responsible for themself. Don't litter and if you see litter, pick it up, even if it's not yours. Every little bit of kindness and caring helps!

It's truly remarkable. We must continue supporting our planet because it not only takes care of us but also sustains all living beings, both small and large. Millions of years ago, even before humans existed, Earth endured immense challenges like solar storms, asteroid impacts, and volcanic eruptions, resulting in the extinction of many species. Despite these hardships, Earth transformed into a beautiful haven capable of supporting diverse life forms. Eventually, humans emerged and gained knowledge from the Earth, advancing day by day. However, despite our intelligence, we continue to harm our planet. Earth has endured countless transformations to sustain life for us, yet we persist in harming it. We need to realize that there is no other planet like Earth that we can call home. It's time to act now to save our wonderful planet from destruction caused by our actions. We must stop harming animals, birds, plants, and trees for our own needs. Earth continues to provide for us, but we must use our knowledge to protect and preserve it. This documentary absolutely nails it❤️❤️❤️❤️
sounds great. and vague. some details about the first step, please? I am not kidding / trolling. I'm just tired of seeing all these noble thoughts leading nowhere. it has been clear for some decades now that we have to unite our forces. But I still have to eat, use electricity and water, drive my car for job related reasons, etc. In other words, I have to leave an ecological footprint. And, sadly, no green battle cry can make that footprint smaller. so, what shall be the first step to save life on Earth?
@@istvansipos9940 That can be done sustainably and there's plenty of evidence to show how. Carpool. Use public transport. Be vocal about ecological impact. Every small step counts.
@@istvansipos9940 All and foremost we first have to address the largest contributors. Energy production and transport. Transport is being innovated so much right now, in a few years, most people could drastically decrease their carbon footprint that way. Want to do something right now but don't have electric charging stations where you live? Get a low emission gas car. Energy production is mostly political, but who elects the leaders? Right - the people. So if the people want, they will elect the right leaders, that will change things. That assumes that people are willing to pay more of their money to fund that change. That is the largest issue. Of course it should not affect those that can't afford that at all, or otherwise would fall below the living wage. But most of us don't even want to give a little of what we have to improve things. That has to change. Also, market prices do not reflect the costs that CO2 emissions will create in the future. That is also something that politics could change. It is just very logical to do something now, as it is the cheapest now. It only gets more and more expensive in the future, where more and more effort will be required to weaken the effects.
I literally just finished watching one of these in school for science, and a memory was sparked on how much I love this show and videos, so here I am in the middle of science watching another one.

Every scene is mesmerizing to the point that, even after sitting thousands of miles away I can feel the connection of being part of nature.
Mr. Attenborough's voice is so calming and soothing it really makes you listen to what is happening. Makes you want to help heal the problems we humans have created.
He's so powerful he said "The boobys carpet-bomb the shoals" and I just accepted that sentence.

You’re not dramatic, you’re compassionate and passionate. Our planet needs that. Good luck on your vet endeavors

David is immensely poetic here. He makes me feel how we're all connected, and made it to life. 🎉🎉🔥🎉🎉🎉
This is the first time I’m completely watch and enjoy a documentary. The interactive of pictures; The quality of content make me think “Wow, life is beautiful but also harsh”
Nature does not need us, and we need nature. Sadly Only few people have understand that.

This documentary absolutely nails it❤️❤️❤️❤️
Our planet is very special.......Let us all unite to preserve this magnificent planet.
sounds great. and vague. some details about the first step, please?
I am not kidding / trolling. I'm just tired of seeing all these noble thoughts leading nowhere. it has been clear for some decades now that we have to unite our forces. But I still have to eat, use electricity and water, drive my car for job related reasons, etc. In other words, I have to leave an ecological footprint. And, sadly, no green battle cry can make that footprint smaller.
so, what shall be the first step to save life on Earth?
@@istvansipos9940 agreed
Give everyone a daily or monthly quota for maximum carbon footprints to consume.
"....What we do in next 20 years will decide the future for all lifes on earth... "
It makes me feel sad, like it’s inevitable
I just feel like I can do so much but at the same time I just never find myself doing these things
Twenty years? More like in the next 20 weeks Bratha✊🏽
Will we have the modicum of wisdom required to make the correct choices, decisions and decisive action to save this one and only living planet?
Or maybe what we don’t do will.
