James Fletcher yeah but that is because he heard that all monsters go to purgatory and he thinks of demons as Monsters also probably only death God and Amara know about the Empty probably
There is a bit of interpretation to be made from it all and it requires a certain extent of Christian literature and game lore to understand. Archangels are made of primordial "stuff" as stated by god (when Dean asked him to bring back all the Archangels to life to fight Amara) and to a certain extent most likely angels are too. As the "Emptiness" is what has always existed, God most likely created the angels from the primordial "Emptiness". Just as man returns to the Earth when he dies (as God sculpted man from the Earth in his image), Angels return to the primordial 'Emptiness' when they die in which God made them from. As in the episode "Don't Call me Shurley" and from the dialogue of the first 'Death' we can deduce that something beckoned god to start creation which stirred jealousy in his sister the, cosmic entity "The Darkness". The first of those creations were the failed 'Leviathans' which God created. Afraid of their intense hunger which would devour his creations in which he was experimenting on, or as Death says it "devour the petri dish", he created purgatory and locked them up there. It is not clear but somewhere a long the way Eve came into existence and started to create monsters. It is unclear what "Eve" truly is, whether she was a mutated Leviathan or just the first monster that was capable of birthing all of the current monsters. But what we learned from Eve is that she is older than the angels and thus with that knowledge, she is able to lock away their powers. This seems to imply that Eve is something that came into existence or was created by god in one of his many failed experiments to create life before the angels. But seeing as how monsters created by Eve returned to purgatory when they died, it is very likely that Eve is somehow connected to the Leviathans and thus all the things she creates are some type of mutations of Leviathans. Then Lucifer rebelled by corrupting the first demon, Lilith. We find out through Bobby that that corruption doesn't really make them some type of new 'beings'. In fact, demons are just corrupted human souls and are susceptible to the weaknesses of ghost (dying if you burn their remains). It's unclear if demons go to the emptiness but I'm inclined to guess that they are forever bound to hell and unable to go to heaven. They are not of "primordial stuff" like the angels are.
it kinda bugs me that he makes a point of saying that things without a soul go to purgatory then says "stupid cattle, of course, and it is filled with the soul of every hungry thing..." I thought they went to surgatory because they have no soul?
They do have a soul since they’re technically corrupted and transformed humans and other species. As long as the original species had a soul, the resulting monster keeps it, but the soul is also transformed due to the experience of becoming the monster.

I think the Crowley who said that was the Shift Alpha (who was in Crowley's form at the time).
I thought this was the matrix
it kinda bugs me that he makes a point of saying that things without a soul go to purgatory then says "stupid cattle, of course, and it is filled with the soul of every hungry thing..." I thought they went to surgatory because they have no soul?
No, pay attention. Of course he has a soul, except monster souls have to go to purgatory.
@@meditationandhealthyliving9602 No?
They do have a soul since they’re technically corrupted and transformed humans and other species. As long as the original species had a soul, the resulting monster keeps it, but the soul is also transformed due to the experience of becoming the monster.
Reminds me of the dude who play blacula
Isn’t that Bonnie’s dad? So he became a vampire...
Dean Fogg, in his less sober days.
Does anyone else think is is poetic
How the hell did they manage to capture Anderson Silva?
Is it just me or is the alpha implying that soulless Sam would go to purgatory?
Yeah I had the same impression when I first heard it, I think he was going to go to Purgatory That is if he didn't get his soul back
i thought he had pigtails in the thumbnail xD
From father of vampires to dean of a magical university. Ain't sure if it's an upgrade or downgrade.
Count Dracula him self
Not even.
He predates Dracula. Dracula was like 15th century. This guy was supposedly around when the continent's were Pangaea.
