This is awesome but tbh…speeding is up does zero for helping me…I want to see how hard your pressing and the actual speed your using…could you do a video on waves in actual speed…even if it’s a small canvas
Yay, I follow you on tiktok and I’m so happy you’re doing tutorials!! I’ve started getting into painting water, and I’ve gotten a lot better with your tik toks, I use acrylic so now I want to try oil with your tutorials! You’re amazing, all your pieces give off such a beautiful feeling 🥰
Aw thank you for also coming here to check out my channel!🥰 That’s so wonderful that you’re getting into painting water! It’s such a versatile subject (: I hope you love oils as much as I do when you try them, thank you so much for your comment 🥰❤️
I would love to make tutorials for some larger pieces (: I find these harder to film as they take a lot longer but I definitely will do some in the near future🙏🏽 and thank you so much, that’s so lovely to hear!
Okay so I’m traditionally a watercolorist, though I dabble in many other forms of art. I’ve never worked with oils before, but after obtaining a decent set from an estate sale, I was inspired by you and followed your tutorial when I tell you this was THE MOST fun I’ve ever had making a painting 😍 and it turned out incredibly! I’ve never successfully painted water before, and you unlocked it for me. Thank you SO much for posting this and giving me the confidence to try!
Thank you very much for the beautiful. Video I was very amazed thanks Very interesting thanks for Sharing please, please stay connected 💖 ... 💗💖..💞.💕..💗 .. .
I would love to follow on with you and learn. Is it possible to let us know innthe video when you are changing colours and what colour it is? It would make it easier to learn. Maybe explain some simple shapes to use in the distance. Thank you 😊
Wow, I can't explain to you how much I love your waves paintings! Traid the tutorial the moment I saw the video. btw, If you could explain in the next videos more about when you change the colors or brushes, it will help a lot🙌🏼
Beautiful 😍 because of you I’ve picked up painting which has really helped my mental health during this Covid 19 period..would love a tutorial on Deep Serenity. One of my favourites
This is very helpful thank you!! I'd love to see videos about your business and how to start and grow on social media, and what it's like selling your art. Also I would really love to see some order packing vids, even if it's just on your tik tok.
I’m glad you found this one helpful🥰 and yes I would love to make those kinds of videos for you & I hope they can help you on your own journey :) Thank you for being here & I’ll definitely take that on board for future videos🙏🏽
Thank you so much for taking out the time to make this video for us! Could you make a tutorial for a painting with maybe a different color palette? thankyou!! You are such an inspiration to me! I started painting seascapes because of you!
This looks beautiful and so realistic. I'm doing a painting that needs water/sea & i will try and use this technique. Thanks. 🎨 👏 P.S ~ Your voice sounds so like Leona Lewis!! ✨️
Any way you can create a tutorial of a dress with a black/dark background? LOVE Todd Murphy’s paintings but having a tough time figuring out where to start!
Do you always dip into linseed oil before every stroke? Or do you stop doing this after your first layers of pain are in? Asking for a friend 😉 Thanks in advance, love your technique and work... beautiful!
Sorry, I'm not a painter and could not take the colour of your ocean water as a realistic water colour. I thought the colour of the ocean in normal situation should reflect kind of blue, green, ocher, a tint of yellow, something like we see from the beach. Please don't take my comment as an offend or rude as English is a foreign language I couldn't express what I feel inside. At the same time, I enjoy your lucid tutorial very much!!
Thank you,i am not knowing anything about painting just do as kid in childhood ,so now m 39 and started with your vedio seeing,i made one ,cant share picture of my painting here😢,thanks for inspiring me .
Hey! This is beautiful. I see you used linseed oil. But then you painted darker shades on the lighter ones too. How? Whenever i do that, they just mix with eachother and so I'm never able to paint the darker shades once I've used lighter ones.
Thanks for this it is great. I am just learning painting water now and love painting water now. It is in most of my oil paintings. would love one on painting water in sunset reflecting the sunset colours a bit in the sea. I would also like to know how to grow social media. I just started an insta site last week and added a few photos of my art a day. I have 50 friends following now. So have a long way to go and no idea how to get there.
Can you let us know what you dont to canvas prior to painting? I'm using oils on canvas paper and its sticking and drying to fast it looks terrible, can see the brush strokes, cant blend it.
Many thanks for that. I am going to start painting myself. I adore the sea and want to be able to paint it...any tips would be good. I hope being a leftie doesn't hamper things...!
This was amazing Please givee a little moree details on details and all...as i really m a beginner...and i need to knoww the basics tooo I willl try to create it 🥰 Please do see this comment Thanks 🥰💖
watching your tiktoks has inspired me to buy some oil paints and give it a go, and this painting of yours was literally one of my main inspirations❣ i got stuck when trying to create the ocean surface realistically, and haven't dared to ruin the progress i made so far so my painting has been neglected for months. today i googled a tutorial and couldn't believe when i saw your video!! so happy! thank you! now i can give oil painting a try again. 🙃
Thank you so much for this!!!!! I'm just learning realistic ocean and waves and when I'm using a reference it's SO HARD... so tedious and so many shapes and colors this looks like such an easier method
id love if youd tell us every single time u changed color or tell us that it’s actually just the same color but it looks darker or lighter just more description so its easier to follow along
I usually paint flowers and portraits, but after seeing your videos on Tiktok, I now wanna try water/ocean because I'm so inspired by your seemingly effortless painting skill. Thank you for sharing ❤️
I love how I tried to follow along and did the same things yet I still managed to make it look absolutely horrible
Ur comment and profile pic made it so much funnier😭
omg I am about to give it a try let’s seee
@@emaansiddiqui7674 how did it go? 😊

On tik toks?? Really??? How do you learn anything on 20 seconds videos and random frames?

Hope to see some tutorials of larger size paintings. You make everyone fall in love with water painting.
I would love to make tutorials for some larger pieces (: I find these harder to film as they take a lot longer but I definitely will do some in the near future🙏🏽 and thank you so much, that’s so lovely to hear!
This is oil painting though, right?
I struggle with painting waves so I always love to watch a more broken down tutorial to help more so thank you! :)
The way you work is hypnotic. I was watching and all of a sudden. These lines and shapes become hyper realistic ocean waves! Absolutely beautiful.
Yes, we need to see more step by step tutorials like this! Its so calming watching you paint. Great work as always!

Hello what a very pretty painting I was just wondering did you put clear white on your canvas before you started painting 😊👍🙏🙏
I Have Never painted in my life but u have inspired me to start painting. Thank You for your videos😍🥰
I would 100% recommend just going for it!🥰 It’s so therapeutic, and I’m glad I could be some sort of inspiration to start your art journey too🥰

Can’t tell you how much I love your paintings😭🤍🤍
That makes me so happy to hear! Thank you🥰🥰
Question: does this work with acrylic paint also?
Please make a video on how to grow on Instagram. And also how did you started selling?
loved the tutorial! How long do you wait before you start to blending the colors out? Do the colors need to be dryish?
I’m just here for my art class
I recreated this of tik tok, but it was so fast. I will do it one more time with all the tips. Sooo happy you are back on yt❤️❤️
Wow, I can't explain to you how much I love your waves paintings!
Traid the tutorial the moment I saw the video.
btw, If you could explain in the next videos more about when you change the colors or brushes, it will help a lot🙌🏼
Beautifully realistic painting. Please tell exactly which color you’re using as you paint so we can get somewhat near to what you masterfully painted.

I wish to see your packing video 😍💙💙💙
Ma'am what type of tape you're using in the vid ? And where you brought it ❤
Any way you can create a tutorial of a dress with a black/dark background? LOVE Todd Murphy’s paintings but having a tough time figuring out where to start!
is it easy to smoothen out the sky on oil paints? at least easier than acrylics? ive always wonderes how people do it so effortlessly

This was a fine tutorial - I am curiuos though about the blending brushes. Are they any kind of brush, or specific "blending brushes"?
Hey please sunset with moon tutorial. And please explain the color mixing 😕😕😕😕😕
How long did it take you to paint it? I mean did you let it dry at all before painting again?
Do you always dip into linseed oil before every stroke? Or do you stop doing this after your first layers of pain are in? Asking for a friend 😉 Thanks in advance, love your technique and work... beautiful!
Tq very much on the tutorial. Now I know my problem is I always overblend the waves. I aspire to be like u.
Could you upload these videos with just music and no talking? Basically like your tiktoks just longer

Hello brother: I'm artist like you, please can i know your name, and where are you from?
Thank you.
why didn’t you continue doing videos? 😪 loved this vid and just looked at your channel realising this was actually your last vidb
Do you think you can do a video like this with the waves in a different color like brown.
But show how you made the colors a little slower
I'm about to attempt this with acrylic since I'm scared to work with the oil medium so 😬
This was amazing
Please givee a little moree details on details and all...as i really m a beginner...and i need to knoww the basics tooo
I willl try to create it 🥰
Please do see this comment
Thanks 🥰💖
I loved the result! I’m not you lol 😂 but is super easy to follow you! I would love to see the raindrops tutorial you shared on tik tok!🎉❤
watching your tiktoks has inspired me to buy some oil paints and give it a go, and this painting of yours was literally one of my main inspirations❣
i got stuck when trying to create the ocean surface realistically, and haven't dared to ruin the progress i made so far so my painting has been neglected for months.
today i googled a tutorial and couldn't believe when i saw your video!!
so happy! thank you! now i can give oil painting a try again. 🙃
As someone who’s in love with the sea and who wish she knew how to paint, this video is such a blessing, thanks you so so much 💙
I’d love to make a similar painting but I just don’t see how it’d be possible with my skill set and materials. Smh, still going to attempt it tho lol
But I do have a question does it matter what type of canvas I need?? You used a flat round canvas and I’m using a square one
Did you prime the canvas before?
Can I use a flat brush to blend instead of blending brush or mob brush?
Why don't you draw sketch at frist
With pansil
Thank you so much for this!!!!! I'm just learning realistic ocean and waves and when I'm using a reference it's SO HARD... so tedious and so many shapes and colors this looks like such an easier method
This scene is exceptional. Really astonishing work here. Well done.
Did you, by chance, prime the canvas?
Mam is it important that for every stroke we have to deep the brush in the oil?
id love if youd tell us every single time u changed color or tell us that it’s actually just the same color but it looks darker or lighter just more description so its easier to follow along
I will follow you on tik otk. I always have a hard time with water and waves, also rocks!
Could you tell me how you do trees please ? I really want to learn it. Like how you did the one you did on 7-11 on your tik tok.
How do you clean the dry brush off btwn blending?
I’m gunna draw it and I hope it looks nice😂
Keşke Türkçe altyazı da eklesen 😥
What kind of brushes do you use and the brand name of paints you use ?
Great stuff, beautifully painted..
is there an original photo of this? i'd like to paint this too but can't find a reference photo
Nice 👍👍👍
Thank you so much ❤beautiful
Good 👌👌🎉
Is this oily solution that you used 2:15 important to mix up the colors?
Çizimlerine bayıldıımmmm!! Keşke türkçe çeviri de olsa😐
You make it looks so simple with such a complicated subject, am astounded. Thanks
Can I use this tutorial but with Acrylics ?
I'll definitely try this nd let you know the results
Thanks a lot really good video!
what can i use instead the blending brush?
Where is the white brush u used to paint the sky from ??
Can we use ultramarine instead of indigo blue
I usually paint flowers and portraits, but after seeing your videos on Tiktok, I now wanna try water/ocean because I'm so inspired by your seemingly effortless painting skill. Thank you for sharing ❤️
Do i need to use refined oil to paint or can i just paint without it
