Okay so I’m traditionally a watercolorist, though I dabble in many other forms of art. I’ve never worked with oils before, but after obtaining a decent set from an estate sale, I was inspired by you and followed your tutorial when I tell you this was THE MOST fun I’ve ever had making a painting 😍 and it turned out incredibly! I’ve never successfully painted water before, and you unlocked it for me. Thank you SO much for posting this and giving me the confidence to try!
watching your tiktoks has inspired me to buy some oil paints and give it a go, and this painting of yours was literally one of my main inspirations❣ i got stuck when trying to create the ocean surface realistically, and haven't dared to ruin the progress i made so far so my painting has been neglected for months. today i googled a tutorial and couldn't believe when i saw your video!! so happy! thank you! now i can give oil painting a try again. 🙃
I usually paint flowers and portraits, but after seeing your videos on Tiktok, I now wanna try water/ocean because I'm so inspired by your seemingly effortless painting skill. Thank you for sharing ❤️
This isn't only impressive to watch but also makes me excited and ready to pick up my paintbrush and try it! I was already working on a painting with ocean in it but this gives me a whole new idea. Thank you!
Thank you this was very helpful. After many years of architectural abstract and still life I've finally gotten around to landscapes. Ironic, living on the coast and just now attempting seascapes. Thanks again much appreciated.
I really like this, thank you. I'm going to try. I love the colors, I might even attempt a more "black and white" approach, as a photograph might be. I have wanted something like this for a wall in my home, much larger in scale and since I can't find it, I'll simply learn to paint it. Thanks again.
I would love to make tutorials for some larger pieces (: I find these harder to film as they take a lot longer but I definitely will do some in the near future🙏🏽 and thank you so much, that’s so lovely to hear!
Yay, I follow you on tiktok and I’m so happy you’re doing tutorials!! I’ve started getting into painting water, and I’ve gotten a lot better with your tik toks, I use acrylic so now I want to try oil with your tutorials! You’re amazing, all your pieces give off such a beautiful feeling 🥰
Aw thank you for also coming here to check out my channel!🥰 That’s so wonderful that you’re getting into painting water! It’s such a versatile subject (: I hope you love oils as much as I do when you try them, thank you so much for your comment 🥰❤️
Love this! You are really talented! I think what might make this tutorial a little easier for beginners to follow is naming the color that’s being used at the specific time or showing which color is being dipped into throughout the video. Ik for me since all of the created colors are similar in shade it was hard differentiating which color you were using throughout the video. Maybe if we could see the color you were dipping into it might make it easier for us to follow along and make sure we are using the same shade number in our pallet 🥰
I loved your style of painting. It's really impressionnant and relaxing to see you painting. Thank you for share you knowledge. People like you make the difference I the world. Robinson, from 🇧🇷 Brazil.
I've only been painting for just over a year but l'm using acrylics. Really enjoyed watching this tutorial, l'm certainly into sea scapes at the moment & this will really help me with making waves look more realistic, thank you !
Beautiful 😍 because of you I’ve picked up painting which has really helped my mental health during this Covid 19 period..would love a tutorial on Deep Serenity. One of my favourites
My painting came out okay! But girl I felt like you were all over the place at the beginning of the video but In the end my painting came out out pretty good for a first time in years! Great work!
Thank you so much for this!!!!! I'm just learning realistic ocean and waves and when I'm using a reference it's SO HARD... so tedious and so many shapes and colors this looks like such an easier method
i’m a diehard photoshop artist but this has REALLY inspired me to get into oil painting, especially since i have the stuff just sitting around in my room and i never use it
Thanks for this it is great. I am just learning painting water now and love painting water now. It is in most of my oil paintings. would love one on painting water in sunset reflecting the sunset colours a bit in the sea. I would also like to know how to grow social media. I just started an insta site last week and added a few photos of my art a day. I have 50 friends following now. So have a long way to go and no idea how to get there.

You paint water so beautifully. Thanks for the tutorial!
This was a fine tutorial - I am curiuos though about the blending brushes. Are they any kind of brush, or specific "blending brushes"?
Can you use just water to rinse out your brush in between colors? I got water soluble oils and linseed oil
Well done. Enjoyed your video and thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for the limited colour palette because the first thing I was scared about is if I had enough colours.
Hello!
Her's artwork are very beautifull.
Congratulations!
Do you think you can do a video like this with the waves in a different color like brown.
But show how you made the colors a little slower
I like your art it’s fabulous
Please explain how you decided where to place the shades and highlights
Thank you so much for uploading a new video! Please post more often on youtube, you're really an inspiration 💖
Grazie per i tuoi bellissimi e utili video! ❤
