ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns with multi-Grammy-nominated Cuban-born singer-songwriter and actress Camila Cabello claiming her red chair alongside superstar returning coaches John Legend, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Carson Daly returns as host for Season 22.
The show's innovative format features four stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts and Live Performance Shows. This season's Battle Advisors include Charlie Puth (Team Camila), Jazmine Sullivan (Team Legend), Jimmie Allen (Team Blake) and Sean Paul (Team Gwen). For the first time ever, the third phase of the competition will include three-way knockouts.
In the Live Performance Shows, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast, and the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

Kim Cruse has the best natural tone and raw talent I've ever heard. There is so much depth and substance to her voice. She deserves to win this competition, no doubt, because she is one out of a billion.
100%. I think most people have no clue how to discern between the level of achievement she’s reaching vocally and where others are in the competition. This performance is world class aural training.
Kim and LaPorsha from AI were both robbed. Two phenomenal singers. Voice voters don’t like Black women to win. They don’t understand great voices or gospel and soul. Kim and Justin going home while cute teen boy and generic country boy stayed was criminal. Not saying they’re not gifted- but it’s always country on The Voice. And Bodi is talented but I found him and his picks boring.
@@TheDivayenta it’s not a race thing, it’s a genre thing. Don’t say “voice voters don’t like black artists” cause that’s just BS. 5 of the top 8 were brown people. Having said all that, I completely agree that Kim was robbed. She deserved to be in the finale. And I felt the same way about Bryce and Brayden getting through while Kim, Justin, and Parajita (all far superior vocalists) had to go home. That was BS. But Omar is a better vocalist and entertainer, so she probably wouldn’t have won anyway. Regardless, she’s too good for The Voice and doesn’t need it anymore. There’s a lot of moving parts to the way people vote, and race is very, very, very low on that list. You should try to remember who watches this show in large numbers-15-25 year old girls and 65+ couples.
This was her best overall performance. She finally had a stunning set to match her stunning voice. I need to watch on repeat to grasp her vocal complexity and the beauty of what occurred. Stunning! I hope she wins. She has the best voice of everyone. I'm mesmerized.

Whenever John is on the show he totally gives away how much of a sham singing contests can be. John is a legit musician, and his expressions *during* the performances say a lot about the caliber of the performer. He knows music, and he knows how hard it is to do, for example, what she did in this performance. The ear training in these crazy modes, he knows about all of that. And it tickles his autism when someone like this comes along and shows true ability. I love seeing it lol.

Kim was amazing! She ate that up and gave us her best performance of the season! Kim, Morgan, Parijita, Bodie, Omar, and Justin deserves to be in the finale but it's sad we can only have 5 because all 6 of them had fantastic performances.
