I just fixed the issue. I’m try to grow my channel and I have been going back to old videos and changing things. Thanks for the input. You guys help me out and I appreciate you. Hopefully you are one of followers and thank you for that.
I used 3M double sided tape. I used 2 rolls and got it at my local Orielly auto parts store. Not sure how many feet it was, but I went all the way around the edges. The bad part is, the car was totaled the very next day after the video was shot. The door panels stayed on though.
If these door panel inserts are manufactured by Coverlay, did you have any fitment issues? I also watched several videos from other RUclipsrs which showed the insert panels not fitting properly in the corners, even after removing the felt backing material from the door panel... Therefore, I was just curious if you happen to notice some of the corners not staying on properly?
They stayed on properly. I had no issues with them. To bad the boy totaled his car the next week. I feel bad for him. I was kinda wanting to see how long they would stay on or how well they would. I will try and get the link from him and I will post it in the comments.
@@jaycanfixit Sorry to find out about the owner totaling his car the following week, but what matters most is that he wasn't seriously injured or even worse, as cars can always be replaced, but people can never be replaced... In the meantime, hopefully, you'll be able to get the link from him and post it in the comments... Also thanks for replying back 😉
It might be helpful to put what years Mustang it's for in the title of your video. Good stuff, thanks.
I will go change that now. Thank you for the advice. I appreciate it.

I’ll try my rubber wheel, since at the point of sanding the leftover residue and pad pieces off. Mine is a lot worse than yours though.
Rubber wheel worked good but it will melt the plastic.
Hi I’m trying to install my plastic door panels like yours what adhesive tape did you use and how many ft????
