Jimins album is the longest streamed album ever by a kpop soloist surpassing other groups 😭☺️💜 and Like Crazy was the first ever solo song to reach number 1 on billboard charts!!
Jimin is just a masterpiece. His voice, his message, his visuals, literally EVERYTHING! Like others mentioned, you should listen to his whole EP Face because it tells a whole story. You are very right about your interpretation of these. He does a stripped down, acoutic like version of Like Crazy on Lee Mujin Service that is absolutely gorgeous so I definitely recommend that!

Jimin told in many interviews that the whole album tell the story of what he felt and went through during the Pandemic, Set me free pt 2 is the last song and he express how he end it all in triumph but Like Crazy is at the middle of it all, the song don't talk about romantic love but as you said is about him facing (yeah pun intended the album is called FACE as facing yourself) himself, it's about the loneliness and frustration he felt when all their plans fell apart, the super huge tour they had prepared never saw a ray of light even after all the stadiums where sold out already, they couldn't even performed ON (their newest title track at that time) for fans once, when they announced they were going back to Korean music shows just to connect with fans before the tour that same week the shows banned the public cause of course COVID so not even while promoting they could meet fans. All the members love to perform but even them say that Jimin LIVES for the stage so he entered this spiral of dark and deep thoughts and fears. He said that all he did was drink alone in the dark to cope, even in the behind of the music video shooting he said that it wasn't like in the video (he doesn go clubbing, and of course even if he did everything was on lockdown 😅). So yeah Like Crazy talks about wanting to be in that state of intoxication just to be able to feel better even if the "dream" is just really a nightmare.
Boracity magazine, a RUclips channel has a new video talking about FACE as a whole, you should watch it cause FACE really goes DEEEEPPP into his loneliness, the emotions he poured on this album are so sorrowful 😔 an insane way to debut as a solo if you ask me, probably took a lot of courage to do so and I'm thankful he did cause what a masterpiece of an album he gifted us 🔥💜😣✨

But he does, and it’s a lot. But he grown, he overcome his own demons and the ones people put upon him, so this album is really cathartic, hearing your TMI I can tell you gonna love his album, specially the song Alone, Face-off is my favorite. He was really raw in this album and I really think is gonna hit you. Loved loves your reaction, is never too late to apreciate Jimin, and yes people are used to see him dance, but with this album he shown us, he is master in production, directing, songwriting, Lyricist, composer, jimin hand is all over this album and concept. I recommend listening to the whole album in order because it tells a story of how he felt during the pandemic. All BTS solo albums have been amazing.
I also had anxiety when Jimin released his pre release track and Album for one reason only Jimin is among all the members UNPREDICTABLE. I love all his solo songs w/in BTS but I knew he will have full creative control of his songs and album and I honestly didn't know what to expect specially when Hobi said he heard it and even he didn't expect that it would be so dark. Its dark and light for me. I love this Album and all the songs in it and this is me being 100% honest even if he's my bias. His artistry is wholly of another level. Face is a work of Art and Jimin should be truly proud of it. Thanks for your reaction, Set Me Free also hits me different, personally.

What those b*sta*ds mock him for is his voice; they always insist he can’t sing…truth is, they’re all jealous of his appeal to so many people and his raw talent! In BTS he always end up making killing parts…unintentionally! Basically Army with other biases don’t like the attention he gets! As far as I’m concerned, he is the most talented of all of them BECAUSE OF his versatility, which is evident in his masterpiece of an EP!!!
And yes, he’s the most beautiful, sexiest man (human being) on the planet!
There's an interpretation that the "she" in Like Crazy is actually Jimin. If you rewatch the MV carefully you'll see a hand covered in mud grab him at the beginning and pull him into the club scene, and in the middle of the MV the camera briefly focuses on a woman who vaguely looks like Jimin and is wearing a black leather jacket like the hand that grabbed him, and finally at the end of the MV Jimin returns with his own hand freshly covered in mud.
After the camera focuses on this woman, there's a scene where she and Jimin walk towards each other and "face-off" on the dancefloor, the camera spins, and we cut to Jimin in front of the bathroom mirror while the lyrics talk about his reflection in the mirror. Interestingly, in the English version of this part, the lyrics are a little different and say, "all my reflections I can't even recognize." And during this part of the choreography (which wasn't in the MV but was used for live performances), Jimin dances with one of the female backup dancers and they perfectly mirror each other's movements. After this scene in the MV, we don't see this mysterious woman again.

❣Jimin “Set Me Free Pt.2’, it’s everything & more then I could hope for, Jimin’s amazing artistry, his so beyond spectacular,, so mesmerizing, phenomenal performance! The song, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, also the amazing backup dancers, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production! Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Seeing this made me that much more excited, for the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” released on March 24, along with his main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Though Jimin’s song ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, blew me away , meeting all my expectations & then some, I was also not totally surprised, because indeed Jimin is now ‘set free’ from the confines of being part of a group, to now be able to open up full throttle and ‘finally’ be able to release all that he held back for so many yrs! Jimin has been involved in every facet of creating this album! Hands on all the way, perfectionist that he is, including writing lyrics, composing, as well as being heavily involved in production! Jimin’s true, real, inner self will be finally seen in all its raw, authentic, amazing, heartfelt, passionate, emotional, sincere glory! This is aside from Jimin’s full range, hardly ever being shown, aside from high notes, but being finally able to show his full registry, mid range as well as lower registry as well! I’ve always been so frustrated not being able to see as well as hear Jimin’s full capacity of talent. He said it was like reading his journal during a time where he struggled. The album deserves a listen from top to bottom and goes through an emotional journey that anyone can relate to, no matter what your story is. ♦Jimin mentioned that one of his fav movies “Like Crazy” inspired parts of the song aside from the title of song. In the beginning as well as ending to the song, he even uses excerpt wordings from it. Jimin has also said that many of the songs on the album convey what he was going through, his thoughts, his feelings, his emotions as well as despair & depression, during the pandemic in the last few yrs. He also was hoping that maybe it could help others by way of relating & going through similar difficulties during pandemic. So this song Like Crazy, could also be during that time, thinking back while laying his head down, on table in that depressing small room, dreaming of the better times in the past, when he was free to enjoy himself, as well as being with someone or with friends, or even around ppl in general, being able to be free to go out & party. Which is why he even said in the lyrics please don’t wake me up from this dream. I want to stay here.. Maybe, since dirt or mud means despair, that was what all the dirty grimyness including on his hands in the end, also represented, despair of situation, how he felt or how things were at that time, even when it seemed to even ooze into his dream state.

The first song on the album is “Face-Off”, the song “Alone”, comes right after “Like Crazy”, which has a full English version as well. They all have English lyric vids that can be seen for the always so important English translations, Jimin, as well as the rest of BTS always write the most meaningful, inspirational lyrics. There is also a ‘hidden’ song “The Letter” which can only be found on the physical album, which Jimin wrote lyrics for, as a gift to army, to thank army for all their support. But there is posted on YT a lyric vid for that as well.Thus. whole album as Jimin has mentioned, is what he was trying to convey what he was going through, during pandemic, his emotions, thoughts, loneliness, despair, depression, that he hoped to share & have many able to relate to!

SMFP 2 when Jimin is talking about being mocked, the poor man receives so much hate. I figure he must've known he would after releasing this EP as well.
He was made fun of for using auto tune in SMFP 2 and there were videos made about the song itself being a complete disaster. It was sad to see.

This album demonstrated clearly that as much as we all loved Jimin and felt we knew what a brilliant singer and dancer, how good looking and cute he was. It became clear we had underestimated his creative genius. The album is great and a creative growth spurt.

Jimin is, in my humble opinion, one of the best performers out there in the whole industry. The moon phases tattoo down his back is stunning. I think he did have that only a couple of years ago so you may have missed it. Each member has the number 7 as a friendship tattoo. Each 7 is stylistically different and when they join together they form the letters BTS. Each member has the tattoo in a different place on their bodies, its fun to guess where 😉

by the end of the year. Rm and jhope have released albums. Jin released a single. Jk has released a simgle and his album is due in november. V's two singles have just been released
and his album will be out on sept 8th.
