This sketchbook is great. I think you say that you don't have a travel sketchbook practice but this sketchbook shows your really should! It is amazing and a great memento of your trip
Your sketchbooks are always such a feast for the eyes, and these were no exception! I think you are too hard on yourself with your on location work and sketches. They’re beautiful! And keep in mind you are doing them on location, probably sitting rather uncomfortably trying not to be in anyone’s way. (You are always so encouraging of others I thought I’d give some back to you 🤗💖✨)
Ohn Mar I loved the use of the little square/snippet scenes that Koosje encouraged you to use - especially in a limited colour palette such as the orange one, as well as the yellow themed page on the rainy day ~ cute raincoats & cat at the top of staircase… 🧡😽💛
Just discovered your videos today. Love your work and the descriptive way you present your practice. Love Koosje’s work. Have been following her for several years. I will continue to live vicariously through your videos. Thank you.
Your work accompanied by your explanation is so wonderful. It is instructive and helps the novice see the thoughts, approaches, limits and outcomes with a much more insightful eye. I always love your videos but this one was something special. To my eye you grew in this sketchbook and what a generous gift to share with your RUclips friends. I would like to see both the collage and packing videos you asked about. And anything else too! Thank you! 👏👏👏
I absolutely love your work! Thank you for sharing your skills. I love how the watercolor, pencil, pen, acrylic pens, neo II, and collage all work together. You are amazing ❤❤❤
I love the idea of just putting in the shape of the building first with watercolor and then using colored pencil to fill in the details. I will have to try this! Beautiful work Ohn Mar.
Really enjoyed seeing your sketchbook and trip! Beautiful work. Yes, I would really love to see a video on how you pack/prepare for a long trip of this scope. xx
Looking at your snippets panel page just gave me the idea to incorporate some of the many paper scraps I have from my former invitation design days into my sketchbook pages.
I enjoyed this so much! Thank you for telling us all about your beautiful sketchbooks. I love look g back at my own sometimes. It takes you back to where you were. ❤
That was such a fun video to watch! I love Lake Como, we stayed in Nesso a few years ago which I think is near Leno -- it's stunning! I'd love to see a collage video too, thank you!
Really lovely flip-through, as always! I just love the panels done in a limited colour palette, but all your colours are always exquisite :) Looking forward to the next videos, including the collage and packing for a sketching trip ones :)
Would love to take a landscape class with you. I was just in San Jose and I did a pre-sketch background similar to yours. I will have to post it on Instagram.
I loved how you drew and painted my beautiful country! So beautifully painted. And the car's name is: Cinquecento. I would love to see the collage process. Thank you Ohn Mar!
Also, I disagree with you (at 13:00) about the dark red collage-I think it gives such a rich red wine-y color that it complements bottles of booze well!
Let me know if you want to see a process video incorporating collage within a landscape.
Yes please!
Absolutely 😊
uhhhh... OF COURSE! All your videos have been immensely helpful to me in building up my confidence to try new things in my sketchbook!

Just gorgeous. I love your style! What are your colors? It look like you just use a blue, yellow, red, and mix the rest?
More about adding collage please
Hi Ohn Mar, what kind of brushes are you using for this new part of your art journey? Still the quills? Thanks & all the best!
