      Like how you said get (Horse POWER) out of your brain. With the (DEF) being put on higher HP tractors, the OWNER needs to understand that anti pollution stuff. Do you understand the ( Regeneration system) if you want the higher (HP) the (Regen) is NOT a big deal. It just needs to be understood in the OWNERS brain. Like you so Brilliantly said. Get (HP) out of your way, when making a purchase. So many NEW small tractors are under that (DEF) requirements

Some of the other things that others might not think of are third function on front, position or draft control on the back (1023E has neither), and even three point hydraulic tilt etc. Anyhow, keep filming!

    If you haven’t done a in-depth video on trailers, that would be worth making. Knowing the weight of the tractor your about to buy is absolutely necessary if you’re planning to haul it around. Trailer ratings, single axle, double axle, trailer brakes, no trailer brakes, length, rails or no rails, deck-over style, towing weight, trailer weight, tongue weight ratings, standard hitch tongue style or fifth wheel style. A lot of people that are getting into tractor ownership have no idea about these ratings and the importance of not cutting corners when towing tractors. Great vid 👍🏼

    I do think there are times to specify horsepower. I use my tiller in heavy clay soils through a gate which means that when looking at a tiller that cuts a tractor's track often you need to go up from base horsepower to run the tiller that width. Otherwise it never shows up but when your tiller pulls the rpm down and you cannot slow down more you are forced to raise out and till slow. Bit more HP and you can power through.
    Only other thing is I have tried to use the tractor to run certain stationary implements and you need more HP for things like PTO generators. How much depends how big of an electric generator you want to run. But my next tractor will be bigger HP so I can run a bigger generator

    Really appreciate all the time and afford you put into your channel. I’ve been a long time subscriber and a big fan. I’m looking to get a 1025r but I’m interested in the Mauser Cab and there isn’t a lot of RUclips content on it. I’m specifically looking for additional width and hight it adds, the cons to having it (pros are obvious I think), limitations it may have to the tractor (backhoe?? I don’t think you can...), can the doors doors (4) be removed, can you wire fans and lights Into the cab without messing up the weatherproofing/ headliner, a.c.?, and the overall quality on the cab in terms of material, shaky-ness, durability, and overall function. I know it’s a lot but thought it could be a good topic and it’s a topic i often look for on RUclips. In your older videos I’ve seen a couple you’ve had but not any recently. Thanks for your content and god bless 👍.

    So...is it better to have a bigger loader than the tractor can handle, or more tractor and a smaller loader? Many vids show a garden tractor with an aftermarket loader but the tractor can't push much dirt/gravel...same with bigger tractors with bigger loaders. Would it make sense to have a smaller loader on a bigger tractor to maximize efficiency?

    • @williamvannice9012
      @williamvannice9012 4 года назад

      I'm no expert or anything but a larger loader with a smaller tractor sounds like a good way to shorten the life if the machine and a smaller loader with a bigger tractor doesn't sound very efficient. For the best efficiency you should have the correct size loader.

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  4 года назад

      Not really many options to change loader size either way. Most only have one loader option, some have two at the most. They will always be designed to operate with the tractor. Structure, bracing, hydraulic system, bucket size, etc.

Long story short, she's doing way better than she had been, but they now believe she might have partially torn a ligament trying to over-compensate.
