This jail is identical to Parramatta (same design,but positioned different) also Bathurst and Goulburn.
Bathurst and Goulburn are still in use today.
The heat at Bathurst and Goulburn is RIDICULOUS,sun on it all day and locked in the yard all day.

Its freaky to go inside aye, My parents and I went with our friends and stayed at a little cottage right over the other side of the gaol !! it felt haunted, The cool thing was I got to stand inside of Ned Kellys cell with the door shut. It felt quite airy !!

Yes definitely, we did a tour of pentridge just after it was shut down and it was fantastic!
