I love Tales from the Borderlands so so much, it still saddens me how we never got an actual sequel with Fiona and co
I find it cool that Joyce placed her camera so that it looks like she's actually talking to the others instead of just facing where the screen is facing lol
I was hoping Gbox was gonna cover the, uh, mixed reception to New Tales
Table content speaks tons.
I was surprised to hear both old AND new tales were covered this episode. Maybe its because these games are relatively smaller compared to the main line ones but in my opinion old tales deserves its own entire video, also because i think its a little to early to talk about new tales since it came out not too long ago🤷♂️
Congratulations on launching Borderlands 3 on the switch
My first experience with a game with a story that caught my attention was street fighter 2, but the first game to do it in-game for me was Hulk: Ultimate destruction & Call of Duty Big Red one.
So I was always interested in really fun gameplay in both open world and first person shooters that can tell captivating stories.
Borderlands combined both and I really haven't looked back since.
1st and only telltale game I played was tales from the borderlands

it was wrapped up in episode 5; episode 6 would feel weird

Great episode 😊Tales from the Borderlands was the first BL game I played and I’ve been hooked ever since. Unpopular opinion but I was always shipping for Reece and Fiona to end up together
Give Burch full control. Make him the tsar of borderlands would be good for me.
Burch was a writer on New Tales and uhhhh... we know how that went..

The writing is honestly abysmal. The old tales game was the best it was. The poor story in 3, wonderlands, and new tales is why everyone is still playing 2 dispite the gameplay and technical advancements. Anthony or someone new should really helm 4 if he isn't. Joyce honestly sounds like she'd be better suited for background lore expansion and world building.
We as consumers and fans really hope you are aware of the seriousness of the situation!
The immense success of Borderlands 2 is due in large part to the fact that the community was involved, albeit reluctantly on your part.
After that you became arrogant, or maybe it's all Randy's fault - we don't know. Since then you've basically only had flops.
Communicate with the community, your FANS again, or we will watch your demise!!!

Provide proof that every Borderlands game post-BL2 was a flop, otherwise you're just talking out of your ass. BL3 being the best-selling game in the series automatically refutes your claim.
