Started fishing 18 months ago, been taught by my best friend which is really special showing me how things works and what to do here and there. The best Xmas fishing present for an angler like myself getting on in years and not as agile would be for Tackle Guru and Winning Ways to produce even more video content. It is not only entertaining and instructional but also a brilliant watch. Great podcast keep them coming.

Inspirational story Andy, I fished all my junior life in matches and when I hit 18 I stopped due to life, Uni and girls 🤦♂️. I’ve listened to a lot of these but this has made my new years resolution to get back on the bank! Cheers guys and keep both the podcast & winning ways going for years to come. #brilliant

One of the best pods so far. Andy May is one of the most inspirational angler's going. Great to watch and so down to earth. I think a pod with him and Jamie together would be a great laugh.

Awesome as always, been looking forward to this one. I could listen to Andy for hours. presents for anglers, for me a coaching session with a top angler or something that I can’t do without which isn’t particularly fishing orientated and can be used all year round. A Stanley flask!
brilliant mate, as ever another fantastic podcast and interview and a big shout out to Andy for getting me back into fishing after a break of twenty years, started watching him and Jamie on RUclips and proper fell in love with it again...and I'm just..just..starting to get the match fishing itch again.
The best gift is someone to go with who you can talk to and learn new ideas and let out all your problems in life! The last 12 months fishing and people around me who I go with have saved me and I'm blessed to have them around me

Best angling related Christmas gift I can think of is time spent on the bank with. Time goes so fast! Next year I am booking 5 days off work to specifically fish with family members I don’t usual get to due to match fishing on a weekend

Thanks guys for a truly great podcast. Could listen to the pair of you chatting for hours. The best present for me would to be able to fish a session with my childhood mates on the venues we fished as kids. That would bring back some great memories. Can't say how much I love Andy May...He's practically synonymous at Partridge. To the point I was on willow and other anglers where shouting at me GO ON THE FISHES when they weren't catching haha. I need to get a coaching session in with him. He always says hello and has time for anyone too he's a legend
Another excellent listen/watch. The ultimate gift has to be your own fishery - go whenever you like - set your own rules - stock it full of your own fish etc
The best Christmas gift for me is continuing to have the privilege of watching my daughter fish in junior nationals and big opens against the likes Matt and holding her own against the best in the business. Proudest Dad alive!

Have to say that was one of the most enjoyable podcasts I've listened to. What a great bloke Andy is. Having met him at Tunnel barn i can say he's exactly the same in person. Just a shame it had to end although I'm sure Andy could of talked about fishing for hours. Well done all on this podcast and a great choice for xmas

The best Christmas gift for an angler is having just one more cast…(and then another, and another…)
The best Christmas fishing gift I can think of is very personal to me. I have a 10 year old daughter who’s taken up fishing with me this year and I think now is the time she gets her own tackle. So this year I am gifting her a very special rod and reel. It belonged to my late grandad who was my first fishing idol and who also taught me to fish and this rod and reel was the very first set up I learnt to fish with. When my grandad passed away 6 years ago this coming February I was left this in his will along with various other tackle components. I have since acquired my own set up over the years and haven’t used it as I have no real place for it. So I feel it would be fitting for her to carry on the family’s use of this. It nothing fancy I know but it’s packed with nostalgia and happy memories and I hope to create more with her using this rod and reel for years to come. Thanks lads for this podcast. The best christmas gift would be to pass on the enjoyment of fishing to someone. Showing the amount of fish life that can be found in a river that you pass every day.

The best Christmas gift to get a fellow angler is a weeks fishing in Ireland. No finer location to appreciate everything that is great about our sport. The angling, the scenery and the people. Great podcast as always 🎣
Best Christmas gift was seeing my 5 year old son catch his first fish at my local pond (tin mill dam) in sheffield , just spending that time with him is amazing and the best gift anyone could ever have

Spending time on the bank with my girls is the best Christmas present I can think of. I took the 3 of them out this year and caught a 47Ib catfish out of the blue we were all blown away. A special memory indeed 👍 Have a good Christmas all 👍👍

I’ve really enjoyed all the podcasts but that one was fantastic, the best fishing present for me would be for the weather to be mild enough to fish in a t-shirt all year round (and no strong winds!)

Awesome Podcast, I've been waiting for that one like, forever!!! The best gift would have to be a gift of a lifetime ( This gift could only be given once to one person). You would be able to choose 4 professional anglers to spend the day with. Starting of course with the compulsory breakfast with the chosen 4. followed by a 90min coaching session from each of them. Then to top of the day, a meal and a pint of 3. Maybe, with a small reminder gift from each. OMG, could you imagine how much the person would learn? Just a dream, but a memory, I believe any angler would take to the grave.

Another great Podcast ❤ Best gift ? Seems mad to say it but "time" would be the one for me , having young kids my family is 100 percent priority every time , but when I listen to these Podcasts, they remind me of some wonderful times when I was matchfishing full on every weekend , and it makes me long for a full day on the bank with the lads (instead of the odd hour pleasure fishing),the social side of matchfishing is the bit I probably miss most.

I get approached by many for advice so my gift is helping someone on the bank who is struggling to catch and passing on my knowledge to make them enjoy there day. Sorry for the late comment but i have had to work throughout the Xmas period so only just watched , great vid and great guys.

Best fishing gift would be to have one more fishing session with the old timer that used to teach me the basics when I started fishing by myself. Didn't have a clue and had some awful tackle. So I would love to sit with him one more time and he can see how far I've come.... that would be an amazing gift
