Did the similar hairstyle and weird “Pops” nickname clue you in? I gotta wonder if the gang calls him Pops because he’s old, as a joke, or just because he’s the closest thing they have to a father given his overall obsession with finding him..
3:48 lupin: "there a train coming."
3:49 zenigata: "I race you down there!"
he warms my heart every time he talks
"I call em ZeniGOTCHAS, pretty catchy huh?"
1:44, damn, I felt that. I know you pain, Zenigata.
Me too, I know it all too well..
"THIS SYMBOLISM IS VERY DISTURBING!!!"
Yeah, no kidding.
Zenigata is the Daffy Duck of anime.
I don't know why I've had a influx of Lupin in my recommendeds but it's been a nice nostalgia trip
The Book of Revelation: *exists*
Anyone Reading It: 6:20
I love Zenigata so much, half the views for this video are probably from me alone at this rate
Best character in part 2 tied with Jigen
2:52 Zenigata x Lupin confirmed
"thanks but im not that kind of guy anymore 👹aHeHeHyAhYaHyAhAyE 👺
👁👄👁 oH!"
1:54 Get used to being humiliated, Pops.
"He is a man of Focus, Commitment, and sheer FUCKING WILL!"
As long as Zenigata keeps chasing Lupin...he will uncover some greater criminal conspiracy or a terrorist plot...so even if Lupin escapes...Pops keeps his job and get credit for busting terror plot.
How does one turn off a dolphin,
There's a way, but it's likely illegal in many countries.
@@Dinker27 And you may get punched by a marine biologist for 3.5 pages if you do, so good luck trying
"I mean he's no George Lazenby, but-"
"George Lazenby? GEORGE LAZENBY?!"
George Lazerbeam? GEORGE LAZERBEAM?!
There's a reason Lazenby was only in the one James Bond movie.

THIS SYMBOLISM'S VERY DISTURBING!
I like his shout. LUPIN!
0:23 HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHA

I love how he cares about Lupin and the others after chasing them for so long.
Ever notice he sounds like a drunk texan?
Ive noticed he gets countrier in scenes when hes drunk
Dan Lorge is the Funniest Zenigata of ever Time!
Doug Erholtz is the Funny and Competent Zenigata
I AGREE
I agree!!!! It's the main reason I love imitating his voice!!
2:40 the mandatory James Bond reference
“I’m gonna cry” *proceeds to cry*
"The damnedest damn thing I ever saw in my damn life"
Suddenly, normal Zenigata at 4:02
2:19 WITH ALL DUE RESPECT YOU'RE INSANE.
I think the previous clip backs that statement up wonderfully.
4:37 when you ignore your dad
3:12
I damnly agree with this damn guy
The only Hardthrob thing about zenigata is his pants reaction to Jigen's looks and Lupins... everything
Hands down, Inspector Zenigata is too damn funny . Just as the rest of Lupin 3rd Geneon Cast .
Zenigata is the #1 reason I watch the Lupin III series.
He really reminds me of Detective Gumshoe from the Ace Attorney games
And some of the more… embarrassing moments for Detective Harvey Bullock from Batman: The Animated Series.
2:58
Don't worry Zenigata, i also feel like that per times
That intro is very beautiful.
It really is!
Pops: you better handed it over ...over
Lupin: Why don't you roll me in the clover ...over
Pops: you go to hell...ugh over 😂😂
Its like combining the lovable incompitance of inspector clouseau with the dogged determination of carmalita fox
2:58 when my mum starts yelling at me for no reason
I know the feeling, but then again I am a lazy woman sometimes so she has to remind me to help out most of the time.
I feel when writing Zenigata, you need to carefully balance His goofy, hot headed, maniacal, clumsy & sometimes moronic Character with him being an Honorable & Highly Competent Detective. Lupin may be a genius with cartoon plot armor, but Pops is always just one step behind, being the first to figure out Lupin's plan even if at the last second. & every so often arrests & or uncovers the criminal scheme of what ever Super Villian Lupin happened to be stealing from (He manages to keep his job somehow)
Its those super criminals. Plus its shown. Lupin is the ONLY criminal who can escape him
You have to admit. That man has some determination and commitment.
