I think what I like about Stan Lee is that despite being old he doesn't act like it, he's always so giddy, bouncy and fun loving, its incredible to think he is the age that he is Basically he is the funnest senior on the face of the earth
I think something he doesn't get enough credit for is making Star Wars a success, he played a small part but still an important part in the success of Star Wars. When he was an editor at marvel someone working for Lucas came to him to ask him if he can promote an upcoming movie called Star wars by adapting it into a comic, before the first movie came out marvel published half the story in comic book form. The comic saved the industry which was failing at the time and promoted one of the most influential films of all time by giving sci-fi fans a taste of what the movie is going to be like. Adapting a movie into a comic before it came out was unheard of back then. He was even the editor when the expanded universe started in marvel.
Stan Lee, the best comic writer ever. He makes the best comics ever (along with a few of DC's older comics) and he is one of the few writers who would be nice to his fans.
Here's the best thing about Stan Lee, every one of his creations were predicted to not sale for one reason or another. Fantastic 4 won't sell because "its too complex, and nobody would read about a family of superheroes who had financial problems and sometimes never got along." X-Men won't sell because "nobody is going to read a comic that symbolizes racism and homophobia." Spider-Man won't sell because "nobody likes Spiders because they're gross bugs, and nobody will take a teenage superhero seriously." Daredevil won't sell because "people with handicaps will find this offensive." Hulk won't sell because "he's a monster, nobody wants the monster to be the hero, and nobody wants the American military to be the villain." Iron Man won't sell because "kids don't like big business tycoons who support the war." So if you're a creative writer or artist, and someone says your work will never sell or get attention. Remember that someone said the same thing to the guy who created Spider-Man and the Avengers.
And I also learned from Mr. Enter's video about The Animation Genre that never taking risks will get you nowhere, and Walt Disney took a risk by making the first animated film, Snow White. But knowing that Stan Lee's creations sold better than he thought makes me feel a lot better about myself. February 1, 2019, 6:33pm
Stan Lee is one of the greatest writers of the twentieth century. People like him are not only good at what they do, but they are modest about it. Comics would not be the same without him, and I hope that someday I could be half the writer he is.
Daniel Riding He's been invited to cameo in movies with characters he didn't create, like Guardians of the Galaxy and Big Hero 6. I bet they will put him in Deadpool.
I like DC but it doesn't mean I don't like Marvel either. I like both comic book universes. They both have awesome, interesting heroes and villains. And the same thing goes for me liking both the two greatest science fiction sagas of all time, Star Trek and Star Wars even Star Gate. It's always better to enjoy both than only love one and hate the other. :)
Carlos Cisneros why do you have to test him? i'm also an avid comic book reader and i love dc and marvel equally. its ridiculous that non readers think there's a rivalry between the two and there isnt. its like picking up a mars bar and a guy saying to you "you must hate cadbury's"
also best part of all the marvel movies is not the action or writing, but the infamous Stan Lee cameo :-D best one ever was in the amazing spider-man haha
"Never say goodbye. If you don't say "goodbye", then you aren't really gone. You... just aren't here right now" - Agent Carolina RvB. Stan Lee will never say goodbye he's never gone.
Stan Lee is a hero, he kept everybody amused by his amazing comic books, and that's why no one else can match him. The weird thing I have to confess is that I thought he only made Spider Man (his greatest comic book idea), but to make every other? Respect Lee, Stan Lee.
Stan Lee is brilliant, he is responsible for some of the most iconic characters in all of pop culture! I met him twice at comic-con, he's such a nice man, and seemed so happy to be there. He's truly a role model for young kids everywhere, Ya gotta love him!!!!
Stan Lee hired Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko and then put his name on all of their work. To this day people think that Lee is an artist, he's not. He is the super self promoter hype master. You people need to look up Kirby and Ditko and see how they both quit over his ways. They are the true heroes of Marvel comics.
In the marvel movies, Stan Lee doesn't play himself or even just cameos; he's the watcher. Think about it, he's been around every main event in the marvel movies and often just watches and occasionally says something wise.
+FettMaster8 I love DC more but I also love Marvel with all my heart but I hate stan with a vengeance, but I love Jack Kirby the man who really created most of the marvel characters, Stan Lee stole them from him and his team
Stan Lee is one of the most amazing men out there... Forget for a second that he's a legend and a truly epic man, he's also something of a father figure to a lot of his fans. I grew up with his amazing narrative and his characters and in the absence of my own father I found what I needed in his work. Thank you Stan, for being there for all of your fans and supporters and for helping many of us when we needed it most. Excelsior!
Stan Lee was literally was the man.He pushed the comic world to make it not just good but sensational and amazing. If you never liked Stan Lee you have not lived life
If there was some way that Stan and I can switch bodies, (and I mean he keeps his mind in my healthy body, and I take his decaying one) I would do it. Anything to keep the First Avenger alive.
You forgot to add his amazing personality. Have you ever heard a Stan Lee interview? He's unbelievably charming, witty and funny and jokingly narcissistic.
This is the best thing about Stan, not only does he feel like family, we know he loves all of us. I wouldn't want that guy any other way, the world would be empty without him. May he live forever and never change :)
Stan lee is not just not an awesome writer and creator he is also a great person, lovable personality that makes him success too. Disney must be worshiping him due to the fact that the most grossing movies of that company are in part created by Stan lee, also sony must be kissing his feet though lol because spiderman is the only movie that actually gives sony movie and man they need it more than ever.
I am probably one of the biggest DC Comics fans ever, but I love the work and impact Stan Lee had on comic books. Without him some of my favorite DC characters would never have gotten out of the cheesiness of the Silver Age of Comics. Also, despite me being a big DC fan I do love a lot of his creation like Fantastic Four, Hulk, Spiderman, and Daredevil
Stan Lee's one of my real life heroes. Fave cameos: 1. The Avengers: "Superheroes in New York? Give me a Break!" 2. Spider-Man 3: "I guess one man can make a difference!" A philosophy both James T. Kirk & Michael Knight would understand, appreciate & approve. Excelsior is the State Motto of New York, and said to be the battlecry of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. It means: Ever Higher, Better. Thanks for this one. Appreciate it. Excelsior! 👍
In truth the thing that truly makes Stan Lee incredible is his ardent belief that every single person on this planet has the capacity for heroism. He encourages people to be courageous and noble through all of his work, whether it be the comics or the numerous shows he has hosted. If you are a good person and fight to help other people, I am sure Stan Lee would tell you that you were his hero. He is truly an amazing and neat person.
A father is a man who can provide his children with the best he can give, and Stan Lee is a father to us all. Thank you for being Awesome Stan... I Love You
Many may think that being an adoring fan of ANYBODY for 50 straight years couldn't or shouldn't be possible. But Stan Lee makes it easy. In the 1940’s Joe Simon and Jack Kirby were working for Timely and had the hottest superhero going, Captain America. Stan Lee is not a man. IS A LEGEND! This guy make REVOLUTION to the comics and kids. i Love him. he has a great sense of humor, he created one of the more famous and awesome heroes of all time(Spider-man) and also excelent heroes like Ironman, wolverine, hulk, thor, the fantastic four and so many more. he did so many cameos in the movies of Marvel.Stan, we love you! you are AMAZING!
How about the fact that he used real world settings? Like New York City actually being...New York City instead of something made up *COUGH* GOTHAM CITY *COUGH*
And Metropolis :P Yeah that's probably one of my favorite things about him, he makes the parts of the heroes realistic that needs to be realistic, as in, they have problems, they're afterall just people first and foremost, regular people with extraordinary powers, except for someone like Thor, but he ALSO has problems he needs to overcome, other than beating Loki, I just love how he makes every character relatable and likable... Man, I could keep praising this man, but then this would be a serious wall of text, so I'll stop it here, but yes we can all agree that Stan Lee is awesome!
Johnny P I very well know that, I'm danish :P Which is why I said "Except from Thor" as in he was never a normal person who got powers from some strange event, he was just born with them, since he's well... The fucking god of thunder! xD
I think what I like about Stan Lee is that despite being old he doesn't act like it, he's always so giddy, bouncy and fun loving, its incredible to think he is the age that he is
Basically he is the funnest senior on the face of the earth
Stan lee created thee greatest super heroes of all time!
Not sure who said it, I do believe it was one of the Avengers, Captain America if I am not mistaken, but Stan Lee seems like he has(now, had:
RIP Stan The Man..."Excelsior!"
stan lee is the Walt Disney of the comic world
I agree
Its actually a pretty bad Comparrison as Walt Disney was a giant douchebag but I get what you are saying :P
@Tomato Man....
And he lived a lot longer than Walt Disney, too. Walt died in 1966 at age 65, but Stan Lee lived to 95 and died in 2018. February 1, 2019, 6:31pm
I think something he doesn't get enough credit for is making Star Wars a success, he played a small part but still an important part in the success of Star Wars. I don't think the comics would have contributed that much to Star Wars's success
DoctorXander you'd be surprised.
Thats just stupid.
Stan Lee, the best comic writer ever. He makes the best comics ever (along with a few of DC's older comics) and he is one of the few writers who would be nice to his fans.
awesome
Kamen Rider Okami I wish I've met him. I can't afford to go to Comicon. :(
ditto.
Stop liking, there is 69 likes... :p jk lol
I can still see Stan Lee he is not die
If Stan ever dies, they should have every actor who ever played a Marvel hero show up at his funeral in suit (and by suit I don't mean smoking).
I know right!!! but what about spiderman considering he has had two people play him, but that would be an amazing thing that has to be done
stans immortal hehe
If Stan Lee dies, they should have every one of his characters show up at his funeral.
That will be awesome... I think he would love that
*when

When Stan Lee passes and I hope its not anytime soon. A part of my childhood will go with him...
You said it buddy
I kinda wish you profile picture was actually Kal L

Best Stan Lee cameo to come: Deadpool Movie
It didn't even come out yet and it's already so famous
I don't think he created Deadpool though
Daniel Riding He's been invited to cameo in movies with characters he didn't create, like Guardians of the Galaxy and Big Hero 6. I bet they will put him in Deadpool.
Jonny Lupus he didn't create deadpool but it would be cool to see him in the movie
He did create Groot though
Daniel Riding He didn't create captain America.
BM: I'm Batman.
SL: I'm Stan Lee.
BM: Oh S#1T.
the 26 dislikes are from DC.
I like DC but it doesn't mean I don't like Marvel either. I like both comic book universes. They both have awesome, interesting heroes and villains. The Star Treker Name your top 5 favorite DC characters.
Carlos Cisneros why do you have to test him? i'm also an avid comic book reader and i love dc and marvel equally. its ridiculous that non readers think there's a rivalry between the two and there isnt. its like picking up a mars bar and a guy saying to you "you must hate cadbury's"

"Never say goodbye. If you don't say "goodbye", then you aren't really gone. You... just aren't here right now" - Agent Carolina RvB. Stan Lee will never say goodbye he's never gone.
"You keep reading 'em , I'll keep writing "
Yes Master !
Stan is truly the man.
MyFlipNWorld He may rest in peace. :(
I'm sure that under the deadpool mask, there's Stan Lee!
I know that was a joke but Deadpools' identity was revealed when the comics first started. xD His name is Wade Winston Wilson.
i know, i'm a deadpool fan
No just a result of Freddy Krueger f****** the topographical state of Utah.
(Yes that's a Deadpool reference)
I can't remember if there was one before, but I would love to see a top 10 cameos from Stan Lee

Oh, I see Stan Lee as a living All-father to the heroes. A visionary, and a true genius.
+Bob Fitzgerald He was actually a kid who came into their shop to fancy up their words then he stole their work years later the mans a fraud
91 and still doing what he loves! Stan, God bless you! Also, you connect to your fans and love it!
Best Stan Lee cameo: Captain America: The Winter Soldier, where he's says "oh man, I am so fired"
In the marvel movies, Stan Lee doesn't play himself or even just cameos; he's the watcher. Think about it, he's been around every main event in the marvel movies and often just watches and occasionally says something wise.
i love that they make the stan lee cameos in the movies
I can't wait to see Stan Lee's cameo in The Amazing spider-man 2!!!!!!
Stan Lee is the one above all
Almost every time I see a marvel movie, and Stan shows up everyone in the theater applauds
Who doesn't love Stan Lee? Even diehard DC fans must love him!
I know right. Who doesn't?
+FettMaster8 I love DC more but I also love Marvel with all my heart but I hate stan with a vengeance, but I love Jack Kirby the man who really created most of the marvel characters, Stan Lee stole them from him and his team

Thank you Stan Lee. For all the good memories and lessons. Couldn’t have done it without you, you will be missed.
Stan Lee is just awesome! Excelsior!
This is the best thing about Stan, not only does he feel like family, we know he loves all of us. I wouldn't want that guy any other way, the world would be empty without him. May he live forever and never change :)
Why is marvel 50 times better than DC??
.............Because Stan Lee.........
Today November 12, 2018 we lost a legend. Rip Mr Stan Lee. December 28, 1922 to November 12, 2018. We love you and will always remember you.

Also, despite me being a big DC fan I do love a lot of his creation like Fantastic Four, Hulk, Spiderman, and Daredevil
Stan Lee, FUCK YEAH! Coming here to save the motherf***ing day yeah!
You will always be in our hearts Stan Lee Rest In Peace 1922-2018
Stan lee also (if I'm not mistaken) Created James Jonah Jameson as what he thought of himself when he was in charge.
Stan Lee's one of my real life heroes.
Fave cameos:
1. The Avengers: "Superheroes in New York? Give me a Break!"
Excelsior! 👍
Stan Lee for President!
i just watched about 10 videos from WatchMojo, but THIS one made me sub this channel ^^
It'll be a sad day in comic book history when, during the credits of a marvel movie, we see In memory of Stan Lee
Stan Lee is a legend. Hail Stan Lee!
11- An amazing voice;
12- A sincere smile on his face.
Long live Stan Lee!!!!
Stan lee, while you may not be physically with us, your memory will truly be with us forever and ever. Excelsior...
my Hero!!!
Stan the Man = Excelsior!
Stan Lee is like the Walt Disney of comic books.
Stan Lee wrote a lot of stuff for DC!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you know he has only worked around 16 times for DC...
DJ-WALL-TALK I have two volumes of the "Just Imagine" series and they're amazing.
Sieffy13
At least you know where he worked in for DC...BUT, they would not be good without him.
Sieffy13 I want to read them so badly....
They are not as good as marvel titles...
A father is a man who can provide his children with the best he can give, and Stan Lee is a father to us all.
Thank you for being Awesome Stan... I Love You
21 people work for DC
im a DC man myself but i appreciate all that hes done for comics and superheros and i enjoy his work.
Stan Lee = Comic Book God!
Stan is awesome!!! I did security for him once at a con and he was just wonderful. It was a fan boys dream
RIP Stan Lee
Many may think that being an adoring fan of ANYBODY for 50 straight years couldn't or shouldn't be possible. But Stan Lee makes it easy. The man is a pure genius, and the rapid-fire wit and myriad flaws and foibles of his characters and creations never pales. He's simply the best. He always has been. He always will be. Nothing else need be said! :):):):)
This is why I love marvel
Stan Lee just being in his early 20s during world war 2 , to experience that era makes him awesome. I hope he makes 100.
When the human race discover the secret to Immortality they should use it on Stan Lee first, ya know I'm right
+CrashandSonic1 They already have, and you know it.
This actually somewhat helped me on my biography report on Stan Lee. Thanks! 😆
You forgot one more thing...BECAUSE HES STAN LEE!!!

He also revolutionized the industry by making the teenage hero who is poor and not motivated by a higher power
AKA SPIDERMAN
I absolutely ADORE Stan Lee. A man of wit and integrity I wish there were more like him.
Tony: Hey im Tony Stark, genius billionaire playboy philanthropist
Stan Lee: I"m Stan Lee bitch.
Stan Lee: And btw, you're Tony Stank
Stan Lee is not a man. IS A LEGEND! This guy make REVOLUTION to the comics and kids. i Love him. he has a great sense of humor, he created one of the more famous and awesome heroes of all time(Spider-man) and also excelent heroes like Ironman, wolverine, hulk, thor, the fantastic four and so many more. he did so many cameos in the movies of Marvel.Stan, we love you! you are AMAZING!
You seen how old he is? I hope lives long enough to see the remainder of the phase 3 Marvel movies.
+Sharkspeare he wont die...he just wont
he means so much to me ı cant handle this type of thing
Even when he dies, he'll live on.
you know it bro, i don't know how my childhood would be without him...I don't think anyone does
He's great in the Ultimate Spider-Man series.
Stan Lee IS all of our grandfather! He ignited our dreams. I know he did mine as a child back in the 70's, 80's and today still.
Kefka Palazzo you do realize that Thor is a god from the Nordic mythos
Kefka Palazzo Central City, Star (Starling) City, or Keystone City (all DC)
Johnny P
I very well know that, I'm danish :P Which is why I said "Except from Thor" as in he was never a normal person who got powers from some strange event, he was just born with them, since he's well... The fucking god of thunder! xD
Good point Kefka
*May his beautiful and awesome soul rest in piece! He will always be a hero❤*
There should be a movie about him!
Stan Lee is a great man. One of my inspirations to be a writer. The world wouldn't know what to do without him
*Press F to pay respects.*
