Wuhan is a super transportation center in China. You couldn't image how developed Wuhan is. It has 16 interstate expressways, 3 to Beijing, 3 to Shanghai, 3 to Guangzhou, 3 to Chongqing, and 4 to other cities (15 completed and 1 under construction), plus 7 local expressways (5 completed and 2 under construction), let alone its 6 beltways (5 completed and 1 under construction), all across both Yangtze river and Han river. I almost forgot mentioning its 11 bullet train routes, 2 to Beijing, 2 to Shanghai, 3 to Guangzhou, 2 to Chongqing, and 2 to other cities (7 completed, 2 under construction and 2 planed). Excellent video!
No wonder covid spread quickly! In all seriousness, all those connections alone make Wuhan a model city. 11 BULLET TRAIN ROUTES? Jesus. That's a train spotter's paradise.
@@kartikeytiwari1877 it's a giant not all areas are fully developed many people still live in rural areas and just like India people wages are less they cannot survive in expensive cities
As a Wuhan native, it's hard to say where is downtown Wuhan. Unlike other cities that have a core, Wuhan is divided by Yangtse River and Han River into 3 distinct "towns" (Hanyang, Hankou, Wuchang). With multiple sub-city centers that spread across the metro area, downtown feels everywhere to me 😂
That is so TRUE, Wuhan has so many areas that look like typical CBD, but no one knows where the real downtown is...maybe it's the Yangtze river, since it is the geographical center of the city..LOL

Chinese cities are usually large and have very dense populations. Ring roads are all viaducts on the ground, forming rings of different diameters in the city, these rings are connected with ground traffic, the ring lines are like highways in the city, and no parking is allowed. A city like Wuhan has five ring lines. The smallest ring line is in the core area of the city, with a length of 20 kilometers; the outermost ring line (the fifth ring line) is 190 kilometers long and surrounds the outer circle of the city. These loops are almost all bridges, with many connecting channels with the ground, which are convenient for vehicles to enter or leave the loop viaduct.
Follow up on this. It appears to be the type of structure often found at the entrances and exits of tunnels, to allow the drivers' eyes to adjust to the different brightness levels. But here there is no tunnel. It's obviously been constructed with some effort and cost and was therefore a deliberate design decision. There are a few others later in the video, also without tunnels. I'm still intrigued.
