I used to live in there between 2012-2013 and again some part of 2015 . Hubei people are the most friendly people in China and the city’s infrastructure is modern as much as any other Chinese city.
I spent 10 years there on Qingnian Li at Tongji Hospital and Wuhan Union Hospital.Really an amazing City. Feeling proud of Qingnian Lu. Miss my life their.

I am from Papua New Guinea and currently living in Wuhan now (December 2022). Wuhan is beautiful beyond imagination. The Chinese people are undoubtedly hard working. Urban planning is the best in the world. Western media paints a bad picture about the Chinese Communist regime but the achievements of communist regime are amazingly incredible. The western world cannot match it. Wuhan is the best city. I love living in Wuhan.

I would encourage my fellow Americans to view this video and especially the one on Chongqing City. Absolutely amazing. Temporarily forgetting the current politics, just remember these beautiful cities were built and created by the Chinese people whom live within. The energy and civic planning that is required to house 13 million people is mind boggling. Just these two videos has completely changed my limited concept about China.
I've been to bejing twice and also xi'an and I had an amazing time there. China was so different from how I had imagined it. When you are there your mind is blown all the time. Even when you think you have a good impression of the country, it will prove you otherwise. Most of the time I had no idea where I was or what was going on exactly but it was all very enjoyable. I guess it also depends a bit who you are with. If you are ever there find locals to hang around with. You won't know what's happening but you will have a great experience.
It's not as good as you think. If you live there you will know these buildings have nothing to do with most people's life but just a good appearance. Most people still struggle in their hard life burden

It's still a city focused on individual carbon powered vehicles needs. China had the chance to design cities from scratch with public transportation in mind, and yet... still build highways throughout residential areas. Cities more public transportation and less noise from vehicles. The pandemic showed everyone just how nice cities can be when you remove most of the cars from inside the cities, and yet... governments keep making car centric cities.
@@joaocorreiamedia of couse china needs to build highways inside china's cities because chinese megacities are really MEGA. i will give u a perspective. the scale of NYC would not match the top 10 chinese megacities. NYC is only about 800 sq km in size. NYC could fit in the category of "a large city" in chinese context, but not "a megacity". for example, Wuhan is 10th largest chinese city. its 8500 sq km in size with a built-up area of 1000 sq km. in chinese megacities, it's not unusual to takes 1.5 to 2 hrs to drive from north part of the town to south part of town on highway speed. without inner city highways, you are going to stuck in city traffic for a whole day if you try to travel across the town.
These are some of the most developed cities on the planet. Thanks so much for the view. In the states it’s hard to imagine how cities can work well at such density and scale.
Spectacular it seems like the most developed city in Europe or America. Not 1 indian city comes near it in terms of cleanliness. As a indian we have a very narrow thoughts about Chinese people but this video shows the reality of Chinese people.

Not in India, The India culture is totally different to the Chinese. Chinese people are more straigt and disciplined. India is more chaotic and uncontrolled. Indian people are smart and creative but there is no culture of discipline. I dont speak about relgious discipline. I speak to work together for one goal. Chinese are more like ants who working together for their "colonies" (goals). And it is easy because in China everyone is "equal" (on the paper, of course exist unequality too) and religion plays a low role in China. In India religion has a big impact and every religious group has different goals + you have the caste system where people are not equal but uneqal. So why should somebody from the lowest caste who has complete different problems in comparsion from a person from the highest caste to work for the aim of the highest caste? In China the majority pulls into the same direction. In India the majority pulls into different directions. Thats why in India the progress is not the same like in China. Its a socio-cultural and religious difference. Like I said before...it has nothing to do with intelligence. Indian people are very intelligent.

These are some of the most developed cities on the earth. The infrastructure is almost alien! If you think getting stuck in traffic is bad due to suburban sprawl think of the burden such distances places on utility transport, electricity, gas, water, and even sewage. All that stuff has to move greater distances and serve fewer citizens. Therefore the cost is more in aggregate and more per capita. I would like to someday do research on this and have a few production pieces of my own. Thank you for this vid!

10几年前去过武汉，来之前对武汉这个城市没有太多概念，只知道武汉三镇和一些古诗里提到的当地景物和地名。从机场出来坐车走高架桥，看到两旁的景色不由感慨武汉确实是个大城市。后面夜游汉口历史风貌区，走到了江边，非常激动的用手鞠了一捧长江水，那是第一次来到长江沿岸，就想着一定要摸摸长江😅

@@kvn1806沿海最厉害的是深圳广州上海，城建上武汉已经不亚于广州上海了，和深圳比各有千秋，深圳摩天写字楼更多，绿化更好，但深圳只相当于大武昌含光谷江夏，武汉还有汉口汉阳左岸，特别是汉口外滩六国租界，深圳老城区就是个县城的规模。经济上，武汉超过了沿海除深圳广州上海外所有城市。
